Agreed.  I hated when Gamestop scalped using this method, and Newegg has lost my business because of it.

3885 "add to cart" was live for me on NE but didn't actually add anything :(  At this point I should have just tried for one of the cheap combos and resigned myself to using my current case instead of the new one I bought.

Here's to hoping that EVGA wants to leave 2020 with a bang.  If so, Tuesday is their best bet (with Wednesday morning left for a straggler drop).

Did the queue only move two spots on this?  Feels very much like that was overflow from Thursday/Friday.  Hopefully tomorrow will be a full drop.
 
I'm over hur gettin' frustrated with this 3090 BIOS.  The vRAM is very obviously under-powered by the card I think, and it's resulting in lower performance as a whole.  I can overclock the vRAM to +1000 and scores continue to go up up to that point, BUT, having it set that high triggers power limit readouts on GPUz in Port Royal, and thusly GPU clock starts throttling regardless of thermals & what is set, even with an undervolt... how do I know it's the vRAM voltage/power that's the problem?  I set to an OC that would result in 2100MHz being the target clock on the GPU Core... at +1000 vRAM I never saw above 2070MHz during the test on the Afterburner OSD... with the exact same GPU Core targets, set the vRAM to -250MHz, suddenly I'm hitting 2085-2100MHz the majority of the test AND... here's the kicker: NO POWER LIMIT indicator for 90% of the test. What?
 
I would say I really hope this is something eVGA can fix with a BIOS update, but most likely I'm not going to have this card much longer after I order the Kingpin, so meh - Just frustrating I have what appears to be an excellent clocker that's being utterly sandbagged by the BIOS/Power Limit/vRAM voltage or power draw issues these cards seem to be having.

Yep.  In general, it felt like a straggler day.

I ended up getting one. Still cheaper than ebay and I can still sell the AMD B550 motherboard (ASRock Phantom Gaming B550 PG VELOCITA AM4) I got cheaply to friend or ebay it. That said, if I don't end up selling it by then I will return the whole bundle at the end of the extended return policy and wait for my notify to come up.

Not a bad idea.  By then at least, they'll have to resell it as open-box and take a small loss.  Enough people do that, and maybe they'll get the message that such behavior is unacceptable.

It's so incredibly frustrating to know I could have a new card right now if I had known I had only signed up for notifications on the 3883 and not the 3885. 3885 is now a full day past what my spot in that queue would've been, and the 3883 still hasn't moved at all.
 
Disheartening is an understatement...

I can sympathize with wanting a card, but for those of us on 3881 and 3883 from launch day, put yourself in our shoes: we're only just now seeing sizable drops to make dents measured in minutes in our queue, and neither is on actual launch day yet.
 
If it makes you feel better, the Ultras are likely to reach October's sign-ups long before 3881, 3883, and 3895.

I guess I won't be getting any 3080 before 2020 ends, hopefully in January I can get it.

I shall have my card in January then, 2020 has been a hard year. I hope EVGA doesn't release other SKUs under any mean - bioliquid cooling, lava cooling, or even naked PCBs - till then, wish you all happy vacations with your families and beloved ones.

What SKU would be helpful :-D What you're in queue for makes a big difference on when you might see it come up.

The 3881?  That's not an early queue order at all, though the queue system started that week, it went back retroactively to 9/17 for that card, which is why it's still on 9/17 because that day was jam packed with notifies.  The queue for that card is nowhere close to you.

Time for another day of dreams coming true and dreams turning into nightmares...........good luck everyone!!

Let's hope the 3080 ftw3 hybrid moves forward 10 minutes today!
