I thought there was going to be a drop of 3070 FTW3 Ultra yesterday but doesn't look like it happened, or at least no one reported to enewt so his update didn't change? Lets hope we get more movement today, as I'm with 8 minutes and would love to sneak this card in for "Santa" to drop a surprise present for my son.

Correct -- no reports.  Felt like a straggler drop.

My watch might be over. Grabbed a 3090 XC3 from the Best Buy drop (3080 gone in seconds, as expected), but they wouldn't do in-store pickup or ship to my apartment, so I chose to have it shipped to the nearby UPS store instead.
 
Figure it's even odds they'll cancel it, but I hold out hope regardless.
 
If you snagged a drop from Best Buy, DO NOT CANCEL YOUR QUEUE SLOTS until you have the card PHYSICALLY IN YOUR HANDS.

As a reminder, EVGA will stop shipping orders by 2 pm PT on December 23.
 
Today is the day for us to rescue all outstanding EVGA gpus from their existing life of being trapped within an opaque shipping box and (hopefully not) bouncing from warehouse to warehouse.  Our adoption will set them free...at least for a moment...until we place them in their castles of metal, plastic and, in some cases, glass...full of breezy days and nights, RGB colors and energy (but hopefully no dust, cat fur or fan/pump/coil noise). 
 
Do your duty...go get your card!

Don't bother.  All gone.  Couldn't even get it in my cart to be disappointed with the "Not available within 250 miles" nonsense.
There were also some 3060Ti FE cards and I got the "250 miles" disappointment on that one.  

BB straight up isn't limiting sales or bots beyond single transactions, so 3080s go to the same scalpers within seconds of availability.  It's the big reason I opted for the 3090, since I'm only replacing GPUs about as often as I replace game consoles nowadays (every four to six years) and needed one sooner than later.
 
A tip that (might have - I expect it'll be cancelled) worked for me was choosing "alternate pickup locations", and selecting either your local CVS or UPS store.  Their site let me ship it to the nearby UPS store for free, and the charge has posted to my card already, so hopefully this means I'll actually get the card.
 
Keep your queue slots until you have the card physically in your hands.  Cannot stress that enough.

No they are, I got a 3060 for a friend last time. And tried to get another today for my brother. Got it purchased. 3 minutes later I got an email saying your order has been cancelled due to exceeding the allowable quantity limit. I have not had any luck getting myself a 3080 from them though.. Looks like I am still waiting on that hybrid to hopefully notify today.

I could get a 3090 in cart right now, but I can't justify a purchase knowing the performance isn't that much more.

I eventually talked myself into it, but I still feel salty paying a 100% price premium for a 15-20% performance differential that the 3080Ti will likely make up in a couple of months.
 
Still, so long as they don't cancel my order, my build will finally be done, and I can remove Distill and wait for my PS5 from Wal-Mart.  Then all I have to do is keep beating my little Drum of Accountability here a few times a week until EVGA responds about 3881/3883/3895, and I'll be finished!
