I had a 3060ti in there, but it says nothing within 250 miles of me.  It also says online only.  Does this mean they are only taking orders online, yet you have to physically go to a store to pick it up?

@EVGA_JacobF any chance the Hydro Coppers are going to drop before the COD promo ends? Saw Nvidia extended it to Jan.11 because of supply issues... Is that the same date for EVGA?

Don't bother.  All gone.  Couldn't even get it in my cart to be disappointed with the "Not available within 250 miles" nonsense.
There were also some 3060Ti FE cards and I got the "250 miles" disappointment on that one.

are you trying on multiple tabs, using your phone and a browser, or otherwise logged onto you BB account multiple times. This is the error people seem to get because they have multiple log ins on one account as part of their anti bot protection.

I could get a 3090 in cart right now, but I can't justify a purchase knowing the performance isn't that much more.

I eventually talked myself into it, but I still feel salty paying a 100% price premium for a 15-20% performance differential that the 3080Ti will likely make up in a couple of months.

Still, so long as they don't cancel my order, my build will finally be done, and I can remove Distill and wait for my PS5 from Wal-Mart.  Then all I have to do is keep beating my little Drum of Accountability here a few times a week until EVGA responds about 3881/3883/3895, and I'll be finished!

if you're using VR, you just got yourself a bit of head room (VRAM).  Like you, I originally did not want a 3090, and would've been happy with a 3080 Black...  But no chance for any sort of a 3080.  So when I saw a 3090FE via BB, I jumped on it.  I ain't giving it back...  love that card....

I had success with BB through:  being logged onto my account, and having all of my account/shipping info filled out prior. Also, I logged into my Paypal prior too.

I budgeted $1,500 for my current build for a GC, but then everything went up I couldn't justify that extra money for less that 25% additional performance. I'm sticking with a 3080 and was able to justify a 3060ti to hold me over for a few weeks until I got the 3080 - and it was still cheaper than the 3090 (even more so that a buddy will buy my 3060ti for the same price I bought it).

Yeeeeah, and I was hoping to finally plunge into VR when I got a 30-series card.  Now that I (might) have a 3090, that part of my brain is going, "Pay up or shut up, natch, I want an Index."  Problem is that was eaten up by the added cost of the 3090 over the 3080, soooo...

How many log in's (tabs etc.) to you BB account? I haven't heard of anyone getting a card (or PS5 / Xbox) by with multiple log ins on their BB account. My theory could be wrong I'm relaying my suspicions through a limited dataset and discussions with others.

I bought my 3090 back on Nov 20th, (and was shipped/delivered to the store on Nov 27th).  I remember having only 1 tab for BB, (but that was after I had logged into my account, and ensured all of my info was up to date).  Second, (as noted), I have Paypal all logged in too.  Just to avoid the delay.

I remember seeing the 3090 come up as available, and I clicked to purchase.  It took about 3 or 4 minutes for BB to come back with the next page, (their anti-bot thingy I think), and then I was able to complete my purchase.

FWIW, I had tabs open on my iPhone and Chrome desktop, as well as the Best Buy app, all pre-logged in with the same account.  The option popped up first on Chrome desktop, initially wouldn't let me finish my purchase, but after toggling between the iPad and iPhone and then back to Chrome (your cart is shared if you're logged in, btw), I was finally able to point it to the local UPS store for delivery and complete checkout.

Only thing used was Distill on the actual product pages to notify me, no other bots/scripts to assist with adding to cart or checking out.  They did have me verify my account via e-mail during checkout, though, for like the third time (even though I order with them fairly regularly).

I only had a single tab in a single browser on a single device logged into BB and I had already linked the credit card I was going to use and had my shipping stuff in there already.  Got everything as good to go as I could and still no luck.  Just annoying.  My guess is that they limit only so many cards per store location.

AND...  I scoured the site again since it still had some FE 3060Ti cards available and nowhere was there any kind of "Alternate pickup location" option.  Not sure if maybe this is only an option for those not close to a BB store?

My nearest Best Buy is about an hour's walk/five minute drive away, so that's definitely not it.  The web page for me said none were available at my local store, but that it would ship to my zip code.  Except checkout refused that, so while selecting alternate zip codes near relatives (who I could ply with some cash to ship it to me), the "Alternate Locations" was at the top of that frame, just above where you'd enter your zip code/location.

I did get an e-mail ping for both my cards as well. I know the cart is shared too. I'm more curious about the shipping as they have been shipping direct to stores for pick-up lately. Neither of my cards had a option for shipping and I couldn't change it later (which was not a big deal). they changed to the current process at some point because people lit up that they had to go to the store to pick it up - BB even put out a press release, or there were some articles about how this was part of their bot prevention.

I managed to grab a 3060 ti but I'd have to drive 2h one way just to get it LOL This wouldn't even be for me but a friend. Probably going to cancel it, 4 hours driving for a 3060 ti Ventus doesn't seem worth it.

You can try restarting the process, or try using someone else's.  People have reported errors with both mine & ENewt's on occasion, we're not really sure why it's happenin' TBH.

All I get from BestBuy is this, they dont say what the extra step is, clicking add to cart does nothing no matter how many I try to add it
Add to cart icon is yellow meaning its available,   ****

This item is not in your cart yet.
Due to high demand, we're having everyone go through one more step before it can be added.
Please try again.

NVIDIANVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 10GB GDDR6X PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card - Titanium and Black

SKU:6429440

Add to Cart

This is how they are doing it, they are releasing inventory gradually. The button will change to yellow in a few mins, but if you refresh it messes it up. It may be like that for up to a half hour is my understanding (20 minutes of waiting for the first card I got).

While it sort of works. The system is kindda screwy. I was able to put the card on my cart, and it showed about 12 stores in my area as available to be picked up on. But cycling through each one still would not allow me to place the order.

You can try restarting the process, or try using someone else's.  People have reported errors with both mine & ENewt's on occasion, we're not really sure why it's happenin' TBH.

Your just too popular. To many people keep using ya'lls codes.  ;)

I noticed yesterday that it will say that nothing in the cart is available for the code, but I just refreshed that page and it automatically applied it.
