This is how they are doing it, they are releasing inventory gradually. The button will change to yellow in a few mins, but if you refresh it messes it up. It may be like that for up to a half hour is my understanding (20 minutes of waiting for the first card I got).

While it sort of works. The system is kindda screwy. I was able to put the card on my cart, and it showed about 12 stores in my area as available to be picked up on. But cycling through each one still would not allow me to place the order.

Yeah I just had a 5800X in the cart at BB and it kept saying not available for pickup at any store with 250 miles? No option to ship anywhere??

I can't believe it, I cant believe I missed yet another BB drop during a stupid test I had to take for work!

are you trying on multiple tabs, using your phone and a browser, or otherwise logged onto you BB account multiple times. This is the error people seem to get because they have multiple log ins on one account as part of their anti bot protection.

I had success with BB through:  being logged onto my account, and having all of my account/shipping info filled out prior. Also, I logged into my Paypal prior too. 

 
How many log in's (tabs etc.) to you BB account? I haven't heard of anyone getting a card (or PS5 / Xbox) by with multiple log ins on their BB account. My theory could be wrong I'm relaying my suspicions through a limited dataset and discussions with others.

I was able to successfully pickup a sku 3885 from BB two weeks ago with multiple tabs open but they were the same card.  I hit add to cart, so it had me sit and wait for the button to turn yellow again to actually add to the cart.  Every 15 seconds or so I opened the same page in a new tab and the button was live in one of those re-opened tabs, though the original tab still had the button grayed out.  I got it in the cart, started the email verification process, was able to process the order, verify my CC through my CC app on my phone, and the order went through.

Multiple tabs for the same card does work, but I'm wondering if the button cooldown feature gets reset when you click a different card to add to cart and have to begin the wait process again.  Though I only have speculation and many previously failed attempts to go on.

To be honest, considering the current climate.. I'd take having a job than getting a card ;)

I'm leaning towards this. I was attempting to get multiple cards (the first one I can). The system is quirky but it must work.
 
Multiples with one card seems to work. So focusing on a single card would be the way to go.

*insert watching & waiting meme here* at least I'm enjoying a half healthy half unhealthy banana, yogurt & donut breakfast. lol

3080 XC3 up at BB.

Don't bother.  All gone.  Couldn't even get it in my cart to be disappointed with the "Not available within 250 miles" nonsense.
There were also some 3060Ti FE cards and I got the "250 miles" disappointment on that one.  

yeah last time I got the 250 miles error before as well as last night new egg has a 3080 drop and I do literally mean A as in one which they hyped up on twitter and discord and I got an alert from sam's club in the middle of the night which I missed I really didn't care I missed this BB drop by 2 mins. I have a 3070 in my cart no error just I couldn't do it, I waited this long for a 3080 a few more months won't make a difference.

I also know my best bet is to camp at a local microcenter or stay warm inside well rested patiently waiting for either the base evga 3080's to get a mega drop or at the very least 3898 to move 3 hours 20 mins and 10 seconds.

What time are the notification emails usually sent out?  I'm super close on the 3897s (about 20 mins) and I'm anxiously just refreshing my email.

Do you have a default shipping address setup on your account?!?  I ended up snagging(added to cart) a 3080 FE but got same message, not available at my store, ended up losing out. Went into my account to make sure I could streamline the process next time by setting up payment etc... noticed a default shipping address was not set. Ended up scoring a 3070 until I can get my hands on a 3080 and this time I got the same not available at my store message along with ship to my address option. Not sure if related to your issue or not.
 

I do, though it didn't ship to my nearest BB store.  It shipped to one about 20mins further up the road.  Always stay signed in with your info updated.  Congrats on the 3070, still a great card.

Usually between 9 am and 4:30 pm PT...although technically they could go out as late as 6 pm PT.  Most drops seem to happen between 9 am and 2:30 pm or so.

They can go out anywhere from 9AM Pacific to as late as 2PM Pacific according to history in this thread.  I got my notif for my 3090 around 1:30PM my time (12:30PM Pacific) Friday before last, so it's not over yet, but as the day progresses, it's less likely we'll see more notifications today.

I love coffee ice cream -- love it.  But have never had the drink (other than Fraps from Starbucks...but is that truly coffee)?  Made it through grad school and 20+ years of my career on diet soda...mostly Diet Dr. Pepper.  Recently graduated to Diet Pete (from Soda Stream)...as it is easier to get in the house in a pandemic.  Cannot break the habit.  But Monster drinks...that stuff frightens and confuses me.  

:-D I transitioned from diet soda (Dr Pepper & Mountain Dew were mine of choice) to Monster & water only as my beverages of choice when I started working mostly graveyard shifts around 15 years ago now.
And now I feel old. lol
