Congrats to those that picked up a card via Newegg or whatnot in the last 24 hours - as always I would wait til you receive it to remove yourself from queue, see the Amazon debacle earlier this week where cards were "available" then all orders were cancelled - though I doubt Newegg will do such a thing.

This is good advice. Also when you order from Newegg, if your order stays in "Processing" there is a chance they can cancel it. Once it gets to "packaging" you are generally safe. I would not remove my self from the queue until the GPU is in my hands.

I have a bit of a crazy related story to that. I was able to score a 3070 FTW3 Ultra combo with a motherboard from Newegg. UPS dropped it off and an hour later someone STOLE my packages right off my front porch in broad daylight. I live in a quiet town on a dead end. These guys got REAL lucky that day. We were able to get them on camera though.  But we are still searching.

That is sad, and it's one reason why it kinda pays to get to know your delivery person if you live in an area where they keep the same person on the same route for a long period, I've gotten to where I can meet mine in town most of the time, saves him the drive out here, and makes sure I get my package ... granted, I live 7 miles outside of the nearest "town" so I'm not gonna get robbed, but the same principle applies everywhere, if you're friendly with the guy/gal, they'll take an extra step to ensure you get your package safely (like actually knock on your door or whatnot instead of just dropping it and leaving, or dropping it for you at your work if you work near where you live).

Edit: Looks like the person who scooped my 3080 is going to receive it before Christmas, and the guy who bought the 2070 Super I resold already got it & said it's working perfectly.  Noice.

Yea it sucks. Unfortunately, due to the holidays it is not the normal UPS driver that I know. It has been 2 younger guys I am guessing who are on a temporary hire for the holidays. I was at work so I couldnt do much. I am dealing with Newegg on the claim but potentially out $1000(they took the mobo too) because of this if they do not do anything. Its a rare occurrence around here but because of the holidays, the porch pirates have been out.

Yeah, I'm definitely waiting to get card in hand before cancelling evga queue. New egg order says shipping and label made, so I think I'm safe. Also, I'm going to try and divert my package to be held at ups so I can pick up in person. I have never had a package stolen, but many of my friends hav lately. Not going to take a chance with something this expensive!

Yes you are safe. The thing with Newegg is, I just found this out because I had another package arriving the next day. Using my UPS MyChoice account it was not allowing me to switch it to be dropped off to a UPS location. With Newegg shipping, they restrict me and UPS from altering the drop off location after the fact. You need to do that during ordering from the site and select the drop off location in advance and can select signature required in advance when ordering through Newegg. Which as we all know, going through all that while trying to score a GPU would make it very difficult to score the card adding those steps during a GPU drop. UPS said I would have to call Newegg to have them lift the restriction. My advice would be to call Newegg ASAP if you want to change the drop off location if they are going to allow it. Enjoy your new GPU!

They ship about 50 a day - it’s just a LOT of people were there in the first few seconds of day one.

For what it’s worth I added each of the SKUs in the first 10 min - about two min apart each - and received an invitation for each one about a week apart.

I don't know.. I don't think the unofficial queue has budged at all in a while so I kinda doubt its a matter of how many people signed up between 6:09 and 6:10.

How is it I added the base 3070 to queue on 10/29 under an hour after launch, and they've moved 9 minutes in 2 months? Are they not making cards or just not selling it on their site? 9 minutes. 2 months. meanwhile they make new SKUs

Same boat my friend. It’s crazy how high demand is. Just where we’re all at....until demand is satisfied or at least a larger chunk taken out, this is the game. Or you can hope you happen to hit F5 on Newegg at just the right moment to snag that add to cart button before the bots do.

Best of luck, and so sorry it’s a terrible wait. I’m at 6:35am 9/29, that 9 min queue has been stagnant for a while.

I definitely wish you luck as well, the sooner you get yours the sooner I get mine! I get the feeling that they don't want to push the cheap model much when people are desperate enough to spend 2x for 10% perf boost

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I'll wait until tomorrow morning and see if ups has a estimate delivery date. If it's Thursday I'm off and I'll just sit at home all day and wait for it to arrive. If it's Wednesday I'll try and call new egg. I guess if they still won't, I'll sleep on the couch with the front door open , so my dog will go nuts if someone comes to porch ( swing shift and i'll be on nights).

Is this the same process for all auto-notify queues, including, for example, power supplies, or just for the 30 series graphics cards?

I don't think so for the power supplies.  I had hit the auto-notify button for the 1600w power supply and got a notice that it was back in stock, but I don't believe I was given an 8 hour window to purchase it.  I think the 8 hour system is specific to the 30 series.

The queue system only applies to 30-series GPUs, if you auto notify for a PSU you will simply get an email whenever it comes back in stock.  Only the 30-series GPUs actually have a "queue" so to speak.

It is not, I got a SFF 650 on notify and when it become available I just bought it right away. Out of stock a few minutes later when I checked again.Anything but the GPU's seems to be first come first serve.

Scrapping some leftovers from the spreadsheet on the weekend, posting them here since it's now late Sunday on this side.
Also doing some testing with tables in order to keep things more organized for datakeeping and exporting.

As usual recent moves are in bold, the 3060 Ti continues to move foward

For 3881, probably another month at earliest. You're likely to get 3888 before 3881, in all honesty, since EVGA has been diverting chips from the base models to the Hybrids if recent drops are anything to go by.  As for the 36xx series, I've not been paying them too much attention so I couldn't say.

10 SKUs "launched" on 9/16, three of which have queues that still haven't even reached the 9/17 release date.  EVGA: where are the 3881, 3883, and 3895?

Idea:
EVGA should send an email to everyone in a queue requiring manual re-confirmation of their interest, allowing ~72 hours to reply.
This may lessen the wait by removing some spurious / automated entries, as well as anyone no longer in the market.
It may further help to offer a discount/incentive for removing multiple queue entries.

I've been trying to get a 3080 since launch day. I'm in several queues, tho I wasn't aware of a direct link that others used so I'm not particularly close on any card. I have a 2070 Super. I'm about to bow out and just move on. I don't blame EVGA, they did what they could do in a tough situation, but checking every day for something over and over has gotten old. Good luck to to the rest of you bros, but this is too stupid for me. I'll be back to buy when it doesn't require this much work to give someone 800 dollars.

Any ideas where am I in the queue and when can I expect the notification email?

I had a feeling early on that this would become an issue at some point. The queue is good, but it's not perfect. Since there are no consequences for joining there are bound to be a lot of abandoned time stamps as the queues progress.

Frankly, I think that people should have to pay for the card up front to reserve it. Pay for the time stamp in other words. It would solve a lot of problems and get rid of a lot of people who are not serious. Only cards that are shipping though, no paying up front for a spot in a queue that's still stuck at 0:00:00.

OCUK did so, I suggested so here and some folks talked about the financial complexities of doing so - no clue what are they! - but you're right, there are no consequences... I am sure these queues got a lot of inactive emails that won't buy the cards or already got it somewhere else and didn't remove their mails.

I have only waited a month so far, but a ballpark amount of time for the 3080 FTW would be nice

I also cannot find any notifications that I am on the queues for an rtx 3080 ftw and an rtx 3070 FTW, but have seen here people can see????

Thanks

To be honest, doing a reconfirmation would be pointless... yes the queue may be bloated, but when it gets to someone that doesn't want it, all that does is delay it going to the next person by a day.  At this point, what is a day to most of the people that have been waiting for months... granted, if that happens on Tuesday, you gon be waitin' two weeks, but other than that, there's really not much point in wasting the effort.

Good luck everyone today!  I look forward to hopefully getting or hopefully not getting (so I have extra time to do even more research) my Kingpin notify.
