How quickly have the 10G-P5-3888-KR been moving? my time is

That's the one I'm watching as well.  I think it's moving at a snail's pace.  Last movement was to like 9:08:52 I think.  I'm 9:11:45

Hopefully, 3888 breaks into the 9:09's this week. 

 Hope so too.  I've never had a hybrid card.  I've never had an AIO period - excited for this!

Artificial scarcity isn't a real thing. The Nvidia shareholders and board would kick the leadership so hard if they did that as that would take money out of their pockets. The leadership already needs to answer the board for not meeting demand and saying they are intentionally not meeting demand for "reasons" would not cut it. This is also not to mention the dozens of companies that rely on Nvidia for sales revenue; Evga to New Egg and EKWB. Hurting relationships with these customers will also hurt Nividia.
 
Second, not meeting demand doesn't cause demand to increase or even maintain demand; it causes demand to go down as consumers look for other options. If AMD had their stuff together a lot of customers would have bought a competitor product when they would never have done so before (and many still will if AMD cards become widely available sooner) , others are going to the secondary market and doing a smaller upgrade or deciding to skip this generation.

Nvidia is the only card supplier in the game with AMD a distant second. They know you are going to buy the cards regardless so no reason to meet the demand up front.

hoping for a 32 second movement in the 3898 queue today! however i haven’t been waiting nearly as long as many of you i feel. it did take a long while for the notify button to become even available

An update to the list, I was able to order my 3070 XC3 Ultra on Friday afternoon.  My posted time was 10/29/2020 7:10:29 AM PT.
 
Now just waiting on the 3080 FTW3 Ultra for the main rig!

Good morning everybody.  The last, partial week of 2020.  This supply-side craziness is no longer funny, amiright?
 
I am confident that either today or tomorrow will have some decent drops...one last gasp worthy of EVGA's efforts to squeeze out every inefficiency possible to get our cards to us before the end of year shut down.  My thanks as always to Jacob and his merry band of brothers and sisters that have facilitated a system that -- while not perfect -- is better than all the rest.  May your end of year break bring you happiness, sustenance and peace.  For those still on the wall, I wish you the same (along with a great big dose of good luck for your hunt).

More money? NO.. because they are actually losing money with clients who wanted a 3000 series card having to buy outdated stuff.
They would be earning a lot more money if demand was being satisfied.

Thanks as usual Newt. Hoping we get some nice drop. But It seems unlikely I will get an hybrid until January. Hopefully I will have the FTW version before.

Not to mention EVGAboyd seems to know nothing of manufacturing and production. I mean.. claiming "they didn't finish the chips design up and hit start on manufacturing when they needed to to meet demand".?
Production isn't a magical switch. There are a ton of things and variables involved.

Way too many conspiracy theorists pulling random stuff when it makes no sense.
I used to think the same about nvidia, until I stopped and checked facts. Specially those news that are reporting shortages of multiple products of different parts from different manufacturers and companies.

It is one of my pet peeves is the conspiracy of "artificial scarcity," which goes like this; we make less product so people talk about us in the media. This translates to: lets make less money, screw our shareholders out of money so the media can say how mismanaged our company is and hurt the relationship with our business partners. It feeds into the conspiracy that companies are out there to hurt the consumers (and according to this logic) hurt the shareholders. No one wins except (maybe) the YouTube channels and some small news outlets that get some more views.

I have multiple stock alerts set up, and also manually check sites regularly, but still no luck. The closest I've come was getting a card in my cart at B&H, but by the time it let me get to the checkout page, my cart was suddenly empty. 
 
Oh well, at least I'm only 6,218,288 seconds away in the 3080 FTW ultra queue.
