Good luck today, and if you're waiting on a RTX 3060, here's a chance at getting one for free: A lot of people (particularly in this thread!) have used my associate code and/or rewards/affiliate code since the 3000 series launch, which I of course greatly appreciate. I figured it would be a good idea to "pay forward" some of this good will, so I used EVGA Bucks to purchase a new RTX 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra GPU to give away. Woot! I initially thought to contact Jacob and perhaps have EVGA give it away via the EVGA Friday podcast, but I realized the winner (or "weiner" as they say) might not be a forum member, and there's a good chance they would just sell it as most people watching there are gamers with high end rigs already, whereas I'd rather it went to a forum member and someone who will hopefully use it. EVGA Forum Moderator The_Scarlet_One brought to my attention the EVGA Folding Team 2020 Time Zone Challenge, and this seems like a great way to give the GPU away - it's for a good cause, will very likely go to an EVGA forum member, hopefully will be used for folding or personal use rather than just sold for cash, and at the same time might encourage a few new folders to join in (like me). Lots of win in other words! For more details, check out this link : https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3175906 Cheers!

aleeexbat Just removed all my other notifies for you guys. Hopefully it means the people that were after me can get theirs sooner.
Enjoy your card, hope it treats you well! kraade
Dabadger84 Ran a quick Port Royal with the system at completely stock, score was about what I was expecting, but the temps were quite good... and more importantly, my M.2 temperatures did not move during the entire test. 30 & 27C respectively instead of going up to 40+ & 32+C is very nice! Congrats to all those who ordered their cards today, hopefully UPS gets them to you as quickly as they did mine to me (ordered on Friday, got it today.)
how do you see temp of M.2 ? Mines sits beside the backplate of my FTW3
As Nereus pointed out, AIDA64 can display it. I use HWInfo64, even have it setup to display on my OSD in game so I can see things like CPU load, CPU Package temp, the temps of my M.2s (which now don't change thanks to the Hybrid card NOT spewing hot air all over them), I have the temperature of 1 RAM DIMM on there as well, GPU Load, GPU speeds, temp readouts for the GPU, one vRAM iCX readout, 1 VRM iCX readout, and a few other things. My OSD is kinda lorg (note this is from when the 3080 was installed, but the OSD is still the same): Congrats to those all those who got their cards in or ordered yesterday, hopefully more are coming today... Just got up from a long sleep & did some fan rearrangement in my case so that there's better airflow now that the profile is different given the 3090's fan setup & the radiators up top being different too. I'll post a pick when I'm done eating & feel like it :-D

eVGA has exclusivity & probably priority because of that, with NVidia. If they did like Asus & some other makers & started making both, they could jeopardize the niceties of that relationship. Same reason why they only make Intel CPU boards. Nereus ^ Holy Hannah that case is HUGE!
Yeah that angle really sells how huge the case is... I could literally fit an entire second 3090, behind the 3090 that's in there, and it wouldn't touch the front fans... which are actually not installed how the front fans came in the case. I moved them from inside the brackets to outside because it's better airflow that way (airflow isn't disrupted by the brackets being in the way of the fan's exhausted air this way). It was definitely designed for liquid cooling setups, and it'll have one in it sometime in the next 2 months :-D Curious, what settings are you using on your 3090 to get the 2.1GHz? XOC BIOS or the standard one etc? I haven't even started OCing this pupper yet.

Oh sorry, that 2.1GHz was from my 2080Ti Hybrid, the 3090 is being RMA'ed for repeated crashing (I just changed the card type in my signature in the meantime - it's not on water yet either, waiting on EK block). I better fix that, thanks! edit: fixed

Ah okay. I'm just doin' some lookin' around to seeing what a nice "average" is for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra so I can kinda have a ballpark of about where I should expect to start hitting OC limits respectively. Few more hours til it's drop time for those still waiting on their cards, may the drops be plentiful & the emails come early ^_^ I'm gonna go throw some gaming at this thing & see how it does stock with the Normal BIOS. Not expecting miraculously higher numbers compared to the 3080, just want to see the differences, and if the one title I was having lag spikes with was vRAM limit related or not.

Just a regular FTW3 Hybrid ^_^ Up to 13687 just from the power limit increase to 107%... hit 452W max board draw, and PCIe slot is pulling over spec (78W) at some point during the test. Max load temp again was 55C, ver nice.

Just curious, what's your total system power draw? EDIT: NVM, had to browser zoom, couldn't click to enlarge the pic. It's looks like it's 882.3

Can't really say tbh, I'd have to have hwinfo open, add the cpu & gpu together, and then add in probably a good 75-150W for drives & fans (14 fans, 2 HDDs, 2 SSDs & 2 Nvme M. 2s, RAM power, etc) . If I had go guess, it's in the 800W range at least. Cpu at 5GHz can hit 170-200W draw in HWinfo64, by itself. Bruh I'm running precision X1 scan for OC, this thing was hitting 2055-2070MHz @ 981mV. What? Lol it's in the last few voltage table steps now. 1056-1081 mV, we'll see where it ends up... Looking like it's gonna hit 2100+ at full voltage, I'm gonna have a field day with undercoating this pupper.

A lot of off topic BS in here, use the Block function for members that constantly barrage the thread with images etc. Makes it much easier to see the essentials.

So I decided to go ahead & fiddle with undervolting just a tiny bit, my highest OC score was 14178. Managed to pull 14119, with a 2040MHz @ .981mV undervolt, maximum load temperature was only 52C instead of 55-57C on previous runs, and PerfCap never showed power limit at all ^_^ Think that's pretty close to a nice even sweet spot between voltage, clocks & power draw. chuckymystic I just got my 3090 ftw3 hybrid yesterday from last weeks drop. My PSU only came with 8pin to 2 8pin cables so I ordered custom cables from MAINFrame. I used Precision X1 to do some base overclocks.... though pushing it too high caused my pc to shut down lol. Latest stable was 400MHZ mem and 170MHZ CPU. Graphics score on time spy free version was 20,585. with a 3700x CPU I got an overall of 17,500ish.
Congrats on the card! What PSU do you have? I would be careful pushing OCs on the GPU with a PSU that doesn't have 3 dedicated 8-pins, some folks on this forum have had issues with daisy-chained PSU cables for 3090s specifically. Samg381 Unpopular opinion maybe, but benchmarks / post-purchase gloating is off topic for this thread.
It's not gloating O_o Just sharing what I think are some interesting results.
