+2 minutes on 3881. Maybe I’ll see a card in February.

These are the North American queues; they're a game of inches.  [Channeling the ol' American Football construct.]  Two minutes, in this context, is almost an insult at this point.  I admire your patience.

I was able to purchase a 3070 on launch day. Benchmarks have been less than desirable in some games. I also have a 3090 FE from Best Buy. FE has a return day of 1/15.

Never mind.  

Sadly, my desire to be frugal in my purchasing a 3080 (to put less strain on our finances) looks to have hurt my chance to get a card anytime soon. :( And now, there's not much use to auto-notify for other cards, as I'd be so far down the queue that by the time it got to me, supply won't be a problem.

It's been almost 3 months and still haven't gotten past the first few days while people are still able to buy restocks from e-tailers... anyone else getting the impression that this is just a PR stunt as opposed to an anti-scalper tactic?

They still have to make their commitments to their resellers. They only keep a percentage for their "store."
I know tons of friends who still haven't even come close on the west coast and the pnw, we don't have a lot of the big chains up here in a lot of areas.
So we are just patiently waiting.
I was lucky enough to get my 3080 and my 3070 for my family pretty quick - Nov... But I am helping co-workers get theirs as well if I can since I signed up for multiple cards.
Except I am selling at MSRP, I see no reason to mark up for friends and co-workers who share in gaming.
I envy people who can go to microcenter and walk out with a card. Closest Best Buy for me is over 100 miles, Fry's is 300 miles and no MC for like 3 states.

As someone who has had over 15-20 cards in their cart at differentferent times and haven't managed to purchase one, I am thankful for the queues.

Well, as another Monday comes to a close, it appears it was another Monday of stragglers (or as BovineGamer likes to put it, "Stranglers"; for those of you in EU, please seek out his posts covering the EU queue -- they often have a disclaimer in red font at the top of the post). 
 
Tomorrow, Tuesday, is shaping up to be another card drop bonanza (I can feel it in my bones -- and Jacob should have some good news for the Kingpin queue this week). So, without further ado:

I was using HotStock notifications, and was just watching youtube when the notification popped up, and that was it. (just clicked the link and checked out with PayPal)

Yeeeeesh, that 3881 movement is abysmal.  I've been joking that I might as well get the 3975 instead just so I can have a card (my 970 did not like Cyberpunk @ 1440p/Low), and eyeballing those queues, it genuinely would not surprise me if my December 11th sign-up for it goes off before my September 17th sign-up for the 3881.  Course, fitting the 3090 XC3 into the NZXT H1 would be quite the interesting puzzle, which does not exactly endear me to it as a solution (nor does its price tag), but given that it's the same MSRP as a scalped 3080 XC3, my options are kinda limited since I need a card in the near term.

If you can fit a 3080 FTW3 Hybrid into your case, you might try to sign-up on Wednesday when the auto-notify button goes up again at 9 am.  That is one way to get to the head of a queue.  Best of luck! 

Sadly no! The case is the NZXT H1, so I was already a madman for trying to jam a 3080 inside.  Now that I'm considering a 3090 just since they tend to be more widely available, I feel like a gosh-darned mad scientist building a Doomsday device.

I should have focused on the H1 part of your story.  Yes, you require a smaller card; the 3080 Hybrid will not work.

I'm within 10 minutes of a few of these....gonna have some decisions to make soon

Still far i signed up the 22th sept. they still on 17th or they started the 18th already 

I'm in pain. 3881 situation sucks. Has it seriously been months with such little movement? Does anyone know if Best Buy has been known to carry stock in-store?

I wasn’t able to check my email til late today and I missed my notice by 30 minutes. I had been on the list since September 17 at 7:36 am. This really sucks, I feel defeated finally...

2 quick questions, and these may have been answered already, I am sorry If they are repeats.
 
1. Are the "Hybrid" Models (3080 xc3 and ftw, the ones actually being sold recently and tomorrow) 1 slot cards?  And is it ok with good fans to mount the aio below the card or is it a must for above ? I can always put the gpu in the lower pci slot and aio above but just for looks id like the other way around.

I am 21 hours away and some odd seconds as of this post.  Think for one of the two that could be by the end of Jan or sooner?
 
Sorry to bother all you number crunchers just having a lot of health issues (if you know what tpn is it is terrible especially with the holidays and food) and I really wanted to play some games, have a freshly built btx case that is portable and all it's missing is a good card.

1.  I would not put an AIO rad on the floor of the case. You do not want the pump to be above the highest point of the radiator if possible.
 
2.  End of January might be cutting it a little close.  But February is entirely possible, if not likely.

21 hours = 2 months lol isnt this all so silly. Maybe I can snag a ti in the time being or a water cooled. All cause they wanted to get it out before next gen.
