Every. Single. Email. I've gotten over the past 2 weeks has gone like this:

"OH is this the one? Is this the email from EVGA?  IS MY WAIT FINALLY OVER!?!?!?!"
<swiped email notification down>
<sees that it's not from EVGA>

I cannot tell you how many times I have cleaned out my spam folders and, generally speaking, reorganized my email folders...casually searching for any "E", "V", "G" or "A" in capital form as I go. This is becoming a problem.

@enewt
I was able to fix the first post I had to disable the link and i couldnt respond to your pm since i have to have 10 post or be here for 5 days. but if you can tell me which card you think would be here first I would apricate it. Thank you

Edit- nvm you responded thank you. that was quick

The cadence appears to be increasing; I think you'll see "invite gold" by Mid December at the latest.  Best of luck!

Been following this since the 3080 release but wanted to let you know I got two notifications to purchase today so that you could update any times for where they are at on distribution!
I got a notification for the 3070 FTW ULTRA and the 3090 FTW ULTRA. I went with the 3070 and decided it would hold me over until future releases of a possible 3080Ti.

12:16 for the 3090 FTW3 Ultra? That would put me only about 10 away if so.

I think we are actually at 12:36:43.  Where are you relative to that time stamp?

Hi enewt, are you planning to add the hybrid/hydro copper models to your sheet?

Enewt (as far as I know) doesn't have any control over the notification sheet.  It was originally started by a user on Reddit, and has gone through a few iterations.  The biggest being making the sheet read only and requiring users to use a Google Form to enter info.  Enewt is here keeping everyone up to date on the latest moves the queue goes through and giving people some prediction as to when they can expect their notification.

There is this sheet that has the 3070 queue, but it doesn't have the activity as the other sheet.

I'm just going by the google-list and how much the notifies move. 12:36 would be around 392-393. I'm currently 405...correction 407 now, it moves as people add their info to the list. I think I'm close then move down the list a bit more, LOL. So currently 15 away on the list atm (which means there are actually more than 15 notifies in front of me, since not everyone is on the list).

I was not planning on it because there does not appear to be any value to it (and I don't control the spreadsheet).

EVGA are doing the queue for the waterlogged cards a little differently.  The auto-notify button was only up for a limited time -- basically until they have enough auto-notifies for the original tranche of cards.  Once they filled that number, they killed the auto-notify button.  It will come back when they know what the second tranche of cards looks like.  Everybody who was able to click the auto-notify button for the first tranche, should get an invite basically at the same time.  Rinse and repeat.

No need for a queue, but we have the unfortunate reality, of those wanting those cards will need to F5 for the auto-notify button.  In subsequent tweets, @EVGA_JacobF has indicated that the next auto-notify button window will likely be in December.

I hope that helps provide some context.

Yes, that is a quirk of the spreadsheet.  I encourage folks not to focus on the "placement number" but rather on the date/time stamp as the spreadsheet is a subset of the total registrations and prone to manipulation over time.  The time stamp is the timeline...the important thing is that you are very close.  Please check to make sure you've whitelisted EVGA.com with your email client (or are regularly checking your circular file).  Best of luck!

I was surprised I got the 3080 FTW3 Ultra that I signed up for 14 hrs after the XC3 Black. I offered the FTW3 to my friend sine no idea if its compatible with things, but he wanted to wait for the XC3 Black so Ill make it work.

Enewt I used your code yesterday for it thanks for staying of top this. I wasn't on the FTW3 spreadsheet it only let me enter one time.

I would use the one that is linked to at the bottom of my signature block.  However, please keep in mind that it does not track the 3070 queues.  The spreadsheet that does track those queues has proven to have misleading data entries (folks saying that received invites...but did not) and I do not find their data especially reliable (I check it nightly but rely on other sources for the most part in pulling together the daily summary of the queues' status).  YMMV.

gregdepot, congratulations on your card (or your friend's card...or a new friend (yet to be met)'s card)!  I am confident you can find a good, forever home for it.

**PLEASE NOTE**
EVGA Staff and Customer Service do not have access to queue positions or estimated times for your notifies and as such, would not be able to give you that information via phone or email.

LOL, I'm surprised it took this long for EVGA to place a banner on the notifies page, or did I miss the giant red banner?

I’ve been thinking about the launch of the 3070s and I have to know why it is possible for someone to take a card that you put in your cart and are about to pay for. I know it’s technically not stealing because it is not yours but customers should have a certain amount of time to check out without the card being taken away from your cart.

Let's presume, for the sake of this conversation, that Jacob came up with the masterstroke idea of the "queue".  What is the over/under on what percentage of North American (and EU, for that matter) customer service team members that have voodoo dolls of Jacob stuck full of at least three pins at all times?  92 percent?  98% percent?

Because most websites don't have cart software designed to handle extremely high demand, limited supply items.

Hopefully threads like ours and maybe some of the reddit posts or discord conversations are helping to mitigate the onslaught of inquiries to customer service.  Goodness knows, they are already engaged in their highest and best use -- helping minimize RMA or make the RMA process run efficiently.  I thank them for their service...especially in the Era of the Queue

"No... no we cannot."
"Why not."
"Because it quite literally doesn't work that way."
"... but it's a queue. There must be numbers for people."
"You are not a number, you are a customer to us."

I think "add to cart" is more of a "hey store I want to buy this" sorta thing. I dont think you actually reserve anything, or put anything to the side. Thats why everyone can put the same item in their cart but not everyone will be able to buy it. I think hitting "confirm purchase" is that hard reservation that people think add to cart is.

I could be wrong though.

I feel lucky to have gotten a 3070 FE on launch day, but considering my turn in line for a 3080 FTW3 is coming soon I may be able to make someone else happy with the 3070 for a good price.

Might not need a 3080 over a 3070 (great card honestly) but I have been trying to make this build as amazing as possible so why not? 10G-P5-3895-KR 9/21/2020 3:10:13 PM PT No

I would totally go out of my way to frequent the online store that had a "nobody touch my cart while I hunt and peck my credit card info into the byzantine check-out form" mode.  That is where I am in this stage of my life.

And it is another race between the 3080 Ultras...FTW3 currently has the lead, but XC3 has a small chance to catch and pass by...however, I think it likely that a 3080 FTW3 Ultra "invite to purchase" email is in your future.

Best of luck; I hope the email comes quicker than you anticipate!

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2020/11/17 16:17:41 (permalink)
I realized EVGA emailed me my notification at 9:30am PST today for the XC3 Ultra. My time was: 10G-P5-3885-KR 9/17/2020 7:52:23 AM PT.

I really wanted to buy it, but I'm going to let it go back into the queue so one of you lucky SOBs can grab it.

Removed all other notifications I had.

For the person who asked several pages back, the 3080 FTW3 I got today from a local shop has the red accent, not black. (Probably not as "fresh" of a card as EVGA has been sending out for the last 7-10 days or so.)

I also got my notification for XC3 Ultra about an hour ago! Finally! I was 9/17 @0714

Congratulations and thanks for reporting back. Enjoy your card!!!

Just circling back around.  Finally was able to purchase my card.  I tried a few different credit cards, none of which would work.  I eventually had to use PayPal and that worked.  Card should arrive on Thursday.  I used your associate code enewt.  Paid for the 2-day shipping!
