This is a sad decision - I just want a secure notification allowing me to actually purchase this EVGA GPU! I have always been an EVGA Fanatic, but the way things have been handled in the past years we're not being treated equally not given the opportunity to have a secure purchase, it will be unfortunate if I can get my hands on an AMD GPU before EVGA GPU... I won't be looking back in the future. 
 
 

You're right, it is sad!  I totally get the frustration, I've been purchasing EVGA products since the good ol days in 2006.  While this availability issue is not on EVGA, it makes a lot of the AIBs look silly.  I don't wish ill will on EVGA or any other AIB partner, but I'm glad that AMD finally seems to have something to compete, it should light a fire under Nvidia's rear end. Hopefully this will get them in gear to ensure that nothing like this happens again.  Until they do we have multiple choices, all of them include the waiting game.  Good luck on getting the card you want.  I'm hoping that 11:19am comes around soon so I can give my 2080FTW to my kiddo.

I didn't sign up for the Spreadsheet, but I just received my Notification for Purchase for a 3080 FTW Ultra.  My sign up time for the notification was 8:32 AM PST on 9/17.

850w is above the recommended wattage BUT the model he has (as do I) seems to have a lot of trouble dealing with the transient power spikes from the 30 series cards.  There's another thread here that lists PSU's that (so far) seems to work well with the 30 series.  Might be a good reference for you to look at to see if you'll have potential issues or not.

Amd crushed it with their live event. I was shocked the owner of nvidia did his presentation in his kitchen..I thought that was very odd whereas Amd did an awesome presentation with that big world class live on stage approach. My guess is they will not botch the launch. After nvidia royally screwing up the launch they need to do something to make their loyal customers on the fence about being loyal happy. The last thing they want to do is drop the pendulum dick swing in the wrong direction knocking people on the fence to amds shinny new well feed grass. We shall see but I will stand behind evga as I know it isn't their fault regardless but people with budget and no patience will spring for an amd if nvidia can't deliver

I havent had a Radeon since ATI Radeon X850 XT Platinum Edition... Its nice to see Radeon competing again!

Kinda figured they would bring something nice to the table. they been working with microsoft and sony on the consoles

Would be nice if EVGA would let us know how many cards they get in on each shipment and/or how many are coming etc. Some transparency would be nice. I still cant believe we are several weeks past launch with this low of amount of cards coming in, its ridiculous honesty. What is the freaking hold up? Are they really only getting in a couple of cards each shipment? 

I’ve been hoping for something like that for a long time. Not knowing how many cards constitute a large drop makes any announcement about a drop pointless for me. I guess evga and other companies consider that level of information not good for business. This is not a dig in evga; just an observation/opinion. I just like as much information as possible when I make a decision.

You're asking about the Gaming Black card?  Jacob posted a tweet that indicated there may be some distributed 1 or 2 weeks from now.  I would assume that those dates may get pushed by up to a week.

Honestly, I had ordered that exact same PSU to replace my lower-end Corsair CX750M and then came across Reddit and EVGA posts where people were talking about the 3080 essentially tripping the overcurrent protection on the 850 GA.  Thankfully, I hadn't gotten around to installing it yet (was waiting on my CableMod Ampere kit).  I'm sending it back to Amazon and my 1000 G3 arrives tomorrow.  I'm not taking any chances at this point.
