ShadyMilkman Z490 FTW DG77 Case 280CLC 850GA psu ( word on the street is that I might have to swap it out ) Just missing EVGA RAM ( Correct me if I'm wrong , they stopped doing ram in the ddr3 days)
The AMD pc is all ASUS ( it would be EVGA if they made the unholy AMD alliance).
I thought 850 watt was plenty for the 3080??
850w is above the recommended wattage BUT the model he has (as do I) seems to have a lot of trouble dealing with the transient power spikes from the 30 series cards. There's another thread here that lists PSU's that (so far) seems to work well with the 30 series. Might be a good reference for you to look at to see if you'll have potential issues or not.
Any chance you could link to that thread please? I cant seem to find it.

At this rate I might ended up ordering AMD 6900. Which might have better stock thn Nvidia. Price and power looks pretty interesting.

jdmwrxpower Amd crushed it with their live event. I was shocked the owner of nvidia did his presentation in his kitchen..I thought that was very odd whereas Amd did an awesome presentation with that big world class live on stage approach. My guess is they will not botch the launch. After nvidia royally screwing up the launch they need to do something to make their loyal customers on the fence about being loyal happy. The last thing they want to do is drop the pendulum dick swing in the wrong direction knocking people on the fence to amds shinny new well feed grass. We shall see but I will stand behind evga as I know it isn't their fault regardless but people with budget and no patience will spring for an amd if nvidia can't deliver
Yeah AMD might be tempting for me this time around, especially if my turn in line does not come up anytime soon. This has been one extremely frustrating launch.

If the old link has been fixed and is somewhat accurate then they've got to get through at least 500 cards just to get to me. That's rough. I don't keep up with the forum much. Does anyone have any idea what kind of stock they are dedicating to the notification queue groups for the 3080s on a weekly basis? I'm signed up for the 3080 FTW Gaming.

Maybe I Missed yesterday but I haven't see any update in the 3080 XC3 ultra on the list. is still on 67 ( 09/16 2:50 pm). I also joined the Group list for the spreadsheet, and is the same. I wonder if there was any e-mail release for the matter.

This is BS, I just bought a EVGA 850 GA last month in prep for my 3080 and now I hear they aren't up to the task as numerous people are reporting issues with them being paired along with the 3080.

That is what happened on launch day for 3080, MC show 10+ card in Tustin, CA store. Then OOS ever since, and I've visit MC like 4-5 times for the past months for PC parts.

Not true at all, my local store received less than 3 for the 3080s and didn't even reach double figures across all brands. Now across all brands it's almost 50. Huge difference.

The spreadsheet is operational again. However, there is a new way of data entry. Per the owner of the spreadsheet: " All edits going forward will be done via the following form:https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdZaiFAXqnuhyXfpR7muIyWa9HvQpnhdTWjjGvmObkakpqZnQ/viewform?usp=sf_link Instructions 1. If you used this sheet previously, you can no longer directly edit. - Instead find your data on the All sorted tab at the top and copy down your "Discord Tag" exactly as it appears in the sheet.
2. Fill out the new form to add or update your data, you can edit as many times as needed. 3. Please be sure to update the form when you get your email! 4. Tabs are available at the top showing per card queues. The form should dynamically update when you add/edit responses via the form, including existing records as long as you match the value in the "Discord Tag" field. The "view only" link to check your work and see the status of the reporting re then-current "head of the queue": https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRDV5oSQmdnMFzovrtJ0LhdPMidoNjsTxX7WdxN44hzFGh4r6frAeJxnywrkMEwsgznv-8ipgQti9Ac/pubhtml For those of you who would like to be added to the spreadsheet and for those lucky enough to have secured a card, please use the form above to input your information. Happy hunting!
