I had a decorative RGB backplate on my RTX 3070 XC3 ULTRA and without me realizing it the GPU backplate itself got turned copper from the LEDs since I guess they gave off UV light. I posted about it on Reddit and got some responses saying that raw copper can oxidize and be potentially harmful. Is it still usable? I haven’t noticed any performance reductions but I want to be able to sell this thing for something at least and I wonder if a replacement backplate would be a requirement.
