Well Wear, Soon Tear and Manny Better. As my grandmother used to say. Somehow it lost something in the translation from Irish to Engrish. Best of luck... Epal2Apol My "Q" t-shirt (together with a free 3080ti FTW3) is out for delivery. It seems I am more exited with the shirt than the card. LOL

Been in the queue since August, but just noticed the address on my account is outdated. Will updating that cause any problems with the queue? What about changing my email address? Thanks!

Physical address changes will not affect the queue. I don't know about email address but I suspect that would be an issue. Maybe ask support@evga.com

Well, welcome to my life. A life of an idiot. I signed up for the EVGA queue in February 2021. I wanted to pick up a 3080 for my new build. I queued up for about 5 cards, all 3080s. When the recent EVGA posts came out saying to only have 2 options I trimmed 5 down to 2. I thought the post suggested to only have FTW or XC3 models. For some reason I missed the ULTRA part of that. So the two I picked were the cheaper options (lots of medical expenses this year for me, so I was trying to go cheaper). The two are: 1. 10G-P5-3881-KL - XC3 BLACK 2. 10G-P5-3883-KR - XC3 GAMING Well it's been 8 months of waiting...so I decided to do some research on just how long this wait might be. My build has been sitting around for over 6 months now, doing nothing. I discovered the EVGA queue Summary document today, and see that neither of my GPU choices have been reported since September 16th, 2020. That's right twenty twenty - 2020. I regret deleting those 3 other cards from my queue. So I guess my question is, am I boned? will I not get a card ever? I know this document is not comprehensive, but still... What should I do? Re-sign up for one of the ULTRA cards that come into stock more often? Or just stay in the position I am? Am I just f*cked either way? - An idiot that just wants a GPU

Tzunam1So I guess my question is, am I boned? will I not get a card ever? Unfortunately. The only one more or less guaranteed option to get card - sign up on launch date. You had this opportunity for 3080 Ti and for 3070 Ti - both were launched after Feb 2021.

You can try contacting support@evga.com, sometimes they do have helped with queue errors, but there's no guarantee of success, especially since you actively deleted the " Ultra" SKUs. Sorry I don't have a better, more hopeful, answer for you :\

Well, my step-up notice arrived.... 10 1/2 months after I purchased 3060ti to "hold me over" until a 3080 was available. However I also entered the queue for a 3080ti, which came through last month! So with hesitation I bought it and (sorry to those it may offend) sold my 3060ti on the market. I was so worried the payment would get canceled or something. BUT all went well and I saved $14 choosing the 3080ti over the 3080. (with the coupon code - thanks enewt!).
Canceled the step - up so at least that one is in the pool again.
The breakdown (note on either scenario I purchased the 3060ti from EVGA at retail and at launch, so non limited)
Sell & buy New 3080ti $1,357.99 Tax $108.64 Shipping $35.00 Sold 3060ti -$1,042.00 Shipping & insurance $38.00 eBay vig $104.00 upgrade total $601.63 Step up EVGA New 3080 $909.99 Trade in 3060ti -$439.99 Tax $72.80 Shipping & insurance $35.00 Return Shipping $38.00 Step up cost $615.80
I dunno, thought someone might be interested.

SageTXSold 3060ti -$1,042.00 Scalper detected! Step-Up in current conditions does not make sense from finance standpoint. You can easily sell card for even more that you paid. The main drawback of Strep-Up is sales tax. Since EVGA buy back old card and sell you new card you have to pay sales tax for full amount. This is totally fine if you bought card anywhere else( BestBuy, MicroCenter, etc.) since EVGA does not have other option. But for cards purchased directly from EVGA, instead buy back, they could process it as return - in this case they will be able to use both price old card and sales tax toward new card.

I wish that were true, I ended up with a 3080ti that I really did not like the aesthetics of last week. Decided it was not for me, tried to sell it and I cant even get a hit at $130 markup. Price was $1670 and cant sell it at $1800. Not a scalper but figured I could try to make a bit of money for the hours/days wasted trying to get one.

Exactly. It will depend on the card. Stepping up a FHR 3060Ti, 3070, or 3080 would be at a loss (assuming you are willing to sell on the market at market value)... but 3060 and LHR cards it may be a wash, or worth the $50-$100 more to avoid fleabay. The $1,042 price on this 3060Ti tells me it was FHR (and sold at a decent price compared to recent listings). Edit: and sometimes step up is the best way to get the card you want, assuming you got in line early. Could be worth the few hundred difference to someone.

This is totally fine if you bought card anywhere else(BestBuy, MicroCenter, etc.) since EVGA does not have other option.
How do we know if a card is LHR vs FHR?
3090s are FHR 3080 Tis are LHR -KLs are LHR 3060 and 3060 Tis are LHR

I see a lot of people asking about the same problem I had, just wanted to put this here for anyone that still needs an answer: If you are in queue for a card that's no longer produced (non-ultra Gaming SKUs, such as the 3895 that I'm in queue for) you CAN NOT switch to a card that's still in production. I can post my email chain with support if anyone's looking for evidence, but they were unable to help me. Back to trolling drops on Best Buy for this guy.

And my time in the queue has come to a conclusion. My last standing active notify came through just now. Good luck to everyone. The ally oop goes to Enewt. I can't even begin to imagine how many EVGA bucks you got boy. 08G-P5-3785-KL 6/15/2021 9:49:40 AM PT Yes
