The first number was Google Voice, after a few minutes I swapped it out with a Verizon number, I've double- and triple-checked that the number on the code input page is correct, I've tried sending SMS messages between my two phone numbers, but it's been over 45 minutes now and I haven't seen an EVGA text show up on either phone.

Hopefully someone that has already been through the process will chime in. As long as your number is correct in your evga profile and you resend the sms you should receive it.

The camels showed up today and sauntered about for a bit. A few of the beasts selected some riders and delivered them to Gaming Valhalla. The rest just stared at us and...well...stared at us, not moving a muscle.

holy cow the 3897 jump today. Incredible progress. Now that we are through 10-7-2021 I guess things will speed up even more? Incredible how much that card has moved lately.

yeah I can see that. I see so many of that model BNIB on the secondary market. Hope it is cutting out some of those folks

Those does not have queue. No drops expected. Probably only in , but you have to monitoring it by yourself.

What about those 3060 ? When will the queue be started again?
I am kinda new with all these stuff and sorry for asking such stupid questions.

I haven't gotten anything until it's here in my hands, and right now I'm getting an error that some other people in a different thread seem to be encountering when they're trying to pay for Step-Up ("Authentication Failed. Your card issuer cannot authenticate this card. Please try again or try a different payment method.") Hopefully the issues with their payment processor sort themselves out tomorrow morning.

When a queue reopens, how long is it likely to remain open? Is this like buying concert tickets and they sell out in minutes, or can I expect a few hours? Days? 
And I assume I just need to keep checking status; there's no notify option when a queue reopens is there?

Nobody knows if/when/for how long the queue might reopen.  Only EVGA knows for certain...and they aren't sharing that info.

That’s cool. The promotion was announced while my card was in transit after ordering, so I didn’t get one. I entered the drawing for one though. And if I don’t win, maybe I’ll pick one up from the EVGA store anyway. I’m normally not after such items, but this situation is one for the record books. If I get a t-shirt, maybe I’ll frame it like a jersey.

What do you mean? People expect to get a lot Child Tax Credit money at spring, but they won't since they already received it?
 
Honestly, paying Child Tax Credit every month it is a best idea that can be!  When people have a small amount of money, they will spend it for current needs. When people have a lot money at once, they probably will buy new iPhone or graphics card, not spend it on family needs Child Tax Credit intended for.

This is EXACTLY what I mean.  I have 2 daughters, and immediately cancelled the Advance on the credit.  Little money here and there gets squandered IMO, large sums have the chance to accomplish things.  For example, I use my tax money every single year to pay my girl's medical out of pocket costs for the year, since medical expenses aren't tax deductible until you get to certain point which will never happen given my insurance/salary.
 
I really disagree that slow leaking money to people here and there will provide a lasting effect more than a lump sum.  Lump sums are how people pay off debt, fix/repair things like furnance/appliances/roof...  And any butthole who has kids, doesnt' have enough income, and uses the lump sum to buy a graphics card, that monthly money is getting p*ssed away regardless of how you give it to them.  Bad with a little money, bad with a lot of money, period.
 
Edit: My main point is, I assume the average person does not understand this is an advance and is going to be surprised when their tax return is X less than it has been historically.  And that money will be long gone by then.  Maybe I am wrong, but expecting people to read and understand a process is a fool's game, which is why I made the correlation with the queue.
