Silvia511 I guess you can update your signature now.
Done and done. Given my experience with so many other companies I'm still surprised when feedback is acted on so quickly. I genuinely hope that everyone gets a card, and it sounds like they are putting a lot of effort into thwarting people trying to circumvent the system.

Thank you for the change. I killed all my notifies except the 3080Ti I want. I have 1 notify I have tried to kill many times over the last few months and it just will not go away. I'm less than 1 minute out on the 3080Ti queue so I hope I will get a card very soon.

Takes stones to quickly remedy a wrong move, as nomoss said, thanks to EVGA, I didn't want to be ticked off at a company that has been good to me through the years.

As for your 3 3080ti's, I can speak from experience that the heat is SERIOUS. If you can pull off a custom water loop, I'd skip the hybrids. I absolutely loved my 2080S hybrid, but it was a 120mm rad exhausting. I had to rearrange my whole case to have this 240mm rad exhaust, which was really difficult because I have a 420mm rad on my CPU. the 240 needs to exhuast. if you don't, your CPU, memory, and chipset temperatures will suffer. Just keep that in mind for planning.

johcamp21 I know it's hard to believe but there are folks in this world that do things to help others. Before money and greed ran rampant, folks bound together in towns and on farms to combine their skillsets for the greater good. It's the most fundamental trait of human society that has allowed us to evolve up the evolutionary chain. I would even implore you, wholeheartedly, to give it a try. The joy that comes from helping another cannot be understated.
If you only knew... I help friends all the time when in need, I was able to get a PS5 for a friend the other day. I wouldn't be upset if I wouldn't have been able to get it because I had already got one somewhere else... I would do anything for my friends and family. I'm not sure why you and some other jump to conclusions and assume my whole response was blaming members of scalping/flipping... Use your brain for a minute, and re-read it. I was saying, I thought people were against scalpers. I wasn't saying everyone on EVGA and who have signed up in the queue are scalpers, but I can guarantee the odds are that some have done just that. If you or anyone else already had a chance at a card, and have already purchased one... why should you be more entitled to as many as you "signed" up for just because you "got in line" quicker... some people have to work. Some people didn't use multiple accounts etc. It's the same as when stores limit items to one per customer. Imagine if when best buy has GPU drops and they let the first person in line buy as many as they wanted because they were first in line, and there response was, it's ok guys, I'm buying these for my friends. How else should they do it, how is this not a good thing, why is this a bad thing? You want to help a friend? You could have told them to join the queue or wait in line, or if you prefer to give the card to a friend, hop back in the end of the line bud.
Sorry to offend you friend. The tone of the post was that most people were scalping their one or two cards they were getting (remember ".....sure") That was the issue I was taking exception to. Most people that contribute to this thread do indeed dislike scalpers and scalping. That's the whole point of putting this much effort into getting cards and then helping their circle along way if their number gets called. I think alot of folks here just kind of registered for a bunch of them not knowing what was going to happen and now they are grabbing placeholder cards and/or helping friends and family as their spots become available. I think it's quite illogical to expect any person to value an unknown person over someone they are familiar with. That's what happens when it comes to their place in line. They don't know what the next three people in line are going to do with their card but they do know that cousin Billy has a 1060 he will use it to replace. At the end of it all, the line should get served from top down otherwise it's not a line. The other option is completely random like newegg. A lotto if you will. I think the other point that is clearly being missed here is that just because EVGA's system shows this particular account and address doesn't have a card doesn't make this a fact. It would work as intended for the decent folks here but for many it just a minor speed bump to get around to get more cards. Anywhoo I'm glad EVGA has listened and recognized the problems this caused. I had faith they would. They have proven over time to be head and shoulders above the rest. I'll say it again - thanks for the queue and the opportunity it provides. Have a great afternoon guys and gals errrrr and amphibians.

nomoss Yes, enewt and the others here will tell them that EVGA didn't bother telling them directly (via email) something that would have informed them to change their buying strategy, and instead let them linger in hope until it becomes far too late for them to get a card. It's not just bad CS, it's morally wrong and, frankly, cowardly.
I agree with it being bad CS, morally wrong, but I don't think I have enough information to suggest that it was cowardly. I think it is entirely possible that it was just careless.
In my line of work, we frequently have to adjust course on short notice to achieve a desired end state. Those who were not part of the decision-making process often feel as though the decisions were made in a vacuum with no regard for the those further down the food chain. Inevitably, change without proper change management results in frustration. I felt exactly this way after they said, "Everybody gets only one!" TBH, I almost deleted all of my EVGA shortcuts and washed my hands of the whole queueing process because of that. I can go downtown and pay $3000 and get a different 3090 today if I want to...but I want an FTW3. Given that this latest (two card) change was just announced, and they're looking for us to clear our queues by 10 October, the right thing to do will be for EVGA to send a notice to everyone by email about the new process. If they want it to work, they need to get the word out to those who don't frequent the forums or queue updates, and they need to do it quickly. My hope is restored, even if I have to continue waiting. I chopped my notifications down to the one card I really want, because it's less than a week away from fulfillment (in queue terms...in real life, however...). If many of us do this, EVGA should get a clearer picture of what the actual demand looks like and there will be a lot fewer skipped purchase notifications.

So the priority is still up for people that have not gotten a 30-series or are we back to normal? I went ahead and removed one of the cards I wanted as instructed by Jacob.

Viewtiful_Josh So the priority is still up for people that have not gotten a 30-series or are we back to normal? Back to normal through October 8th. Then on October 11, the system will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest active entries. Remove all but two that you really want! Also I wondering what "Going forward, the queue system will only allow for two 30 Series notifies on the current lineup" mean. Does it mean it you already bought two cards - you out of queue? Or it will proceed with two active notifications?

With EVGA’s decision to not drop to the queue today in advance of this afternoon’s walk back of yesterday’s announcement, it feels like we have stepped into a Tom Clancy subplot (e.g., the Wall Street do over orchestrated by Jack Ryan…in case there are folks in here who haven’t read ‘da Clance), and I am going to walk back the EVGA Queue Summary Table to Monday morning’s timestamps. (For folks looking for today’s announcement from EVGA: here it is.) Update (5:15 pm): Further EVGA guidance on which queues to consider retaining. And now to the t-shirt mock-up announcement that I’ve previously teased…(skip ahead if you’ve heard this story before). Back in late March, as part of a summary table intro, I wrote an open letter to @EVGA_JacobF imploring EVGA to sell a t-shirt memorializing the Queue. At the time, I had some grand design ideas…quoting from the open letter: “I would think the graphics for the shirt would include a bunch of various models of EVGA 30 Series cards marching in a line over the body of an unconscious scalper, with “invite to purchase” emails flying overhead, the EVGA shipping crew working their butts off (thank you again!), and a clock counting down from 8 hours.”
As I mentioned on September 17, the one-year anniversary of the 3080 launch, EVGA reached out to me and we have collaborated on the design of just such a shirt. While I understand that the shirt is a mere days away from being available for sale on EVGA.com, there are a few items to note: - The design was tweaked to pay homage to the 8-hour stopwatch on “invite to purchase” emails. Since the design was locked, EVGA has extended the time frame to 20 hours.
- As the pandemic has dragged on, I’ve stopped wearing button down and polo shirts to my Zoom calls…showering has also become hit or miss these days, what with the drought and…my laziness…. Why is this relevant? I wanted a shirt that I could wear during my work Zooms…so gone from the design is any immobile scalper body, marching gamers or chalk outline of any kind.
- Oh, and I prefer t-shirts to have art on the back rather than the front…not sure why, maybe it’s because my tummy area is rapidly expanding and art on the front of t-shirts now curves around me like the inverse of a high-end IMAX screen.
Here is the mock-up of the t-shirt. After the shirt design was locked, I realized there was one more small thing I wanted to add…but it was too late. (Not that I am suggesting we do another queue for the 40 series, but if I do get another chance at an EVGA t-shirt design, I’ll be ready.) Other than that missed element, I am happy with the understated design of the shirt and hope that y’all will appreciate it too. On the topic of appreciation…I have a great deal to be thankful for over the last year. One year ago, I was two weeks post a F5 battle that left me heartbroken and adrift…my dream of building my new gaming rig…in shambles. At 7:27 pm PT On October 5, 2020, EVGA announced the Queue via an EVGA Forum post (it wouldn’t be until the next day that it was widely reported in the media). Over the next few weeks, as a way of keeping myself sane, I started tracking reports of folks receiving “invite to purchase” emails from EVGA. One random day, I posted my makeshift summary table. Folks liked it…and many (Narrator: too many) months later here we are. What does this have to do with appreciation? I am confident that I would not still be here without this extended community…y’all have made my hunt for a card…friendlier, saltier and much more enjoyable. In the sharing of the burden of not having our preferred cards, the weight has felt lighter…more manageable…“acceptable”. This communal watch has lifted my spirits (as it has simultaneously weighed down my scale (those s’mores don’t eat themselves)) and I cannot thank you enough. In that spirit of gratitude, I discussed with EVGA an idea about how I might be able to memorialize this year together on our watch…specifically with folks who have had the unenviable task of reading my intros of questionable merit or insight. To be clear, it is not a perfect approach…it doesn’t reach everybody ( and sincere apologies in advance for those that get missed)…but within the limited confines of just being one member of our collective community on our wall (and not an EVGA executive capable of rewriting the Queues rules midstream (Narrator: “ Too soon, amphibian, too soon.”)), huddled around the campfire, awaiting his turn at the s’mores mallow spear (let’s be honest, I cut ahead of TheRealMikeVan too many times to count)…it will reach folks who will recognize the design element in the center of the t-shirt’s graphic (and shouldn’t catch “randoms” for whom the element is a mystery…). I apologize in advance that it will not reach every member of this community…. Without further written detritus, here was my idea: Once EVGA has the t-shirts on hand, the first 365 EVGA.com orders that utilize my Associate Code (i.e., the method of identifying folks for whom the design of the shirt would make sense), would each receive the t-shirt along with their order…all delivered by the recipient’s friendly, neighborhood UPS driver (may your drivers continue to be swift, accurate and dexterous). EVGA has graciously agreed to bump up that number to a total of 500 orders, as well as to execute some giveaways (exact giveaways still TBD, but I would guess via their Twitch streams and other typical EVGA channels) of another 500 units of the t-shirt to EVGA accounts that have previously made an EVGA.com purchase utilizing an associate code (Thanks EVGA!). Again, I recognize that this is not a perfect approach to getting shirts to all of the community members that have made this difficult experience better…folks who have already received their EVGA gaming goodness and those that won’t be fortunate enough to receive an “invite to purchase” email during the window of limited supply, but my small amphibian-sized newt brain couldn’t come up with a better solution. At the risk of becoming a bigger bore than I already am, thank you all for being part of this community tracking effort. I am confident that – eventually – our patience and persistence will pay off…and we will all enjoy our very own gaming goodness! Very truly yours, enewt (and enewt jr.) As of 4:15 pm PT Tuesday, October 5, this is the status of the North American queues (bolded font represents movement from the morning of October 4 (as reconstructed by your friendly, neighborhood amphibian); italicized parentheticals calculate the length of movement from the prior report)): Card SKU Most Recent Registration Timestamp to Receive an Invite to Purchase email Ultra3090 FTW3 Ultra 3987 02/05/2021 00:06:00 3090 XC3 Ultra 3975 10/06/2020 16:08:40 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3967 06/03/2021 08:56:12 3080 FTW3 Ultra 3897-KL 10/06/2020 23:42:03 3080 XC3 Ultra 3885-KL 09/19/2020 13:17:59 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3797 06/10/2021 06:54:073070 Ti XC3 Ultra 3785 06/15/2021 09:29:303070 FTW3 Ultra 3767-KL 12/10/2020 15:13:31 3070 XC3 Ultra 3755-KL 12/06/2020 05:41:103060 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3667-KL 12/01/2020 20:25:54 Gaming3090 FTW3 Gaming 3985 09/24/2020 16:12:06 3090 XC3 Gaming 3973 09/24/2020 00:00:003080 Ti XC3 Gaming 3953 06/30/2021 06:36:46 3080 FTW3 Gaming 3895 09/21/2020 09:57:19 3080 XC3 Gaming 3883 09/16/2020 11:14:32 3070 Ti XC3 Gaming 3783 06/30/2021 06:29:45 3070 XC3 Gaming 3753 10/29/2020 06:21:40 3060 Ti FTW3 Gaming 3665 12/08/2020 18:52:16 3060 Ti XC3 Gaming 3663-KL 12/02/2020 05:31:19 3060 XC Gaming 3657 05/13/2021 10:35:38 Black3090 XC3 Black 3971 09/24/2020 00:00:00 3080 XC3 Black 3881-KL 09/16/2020 16:07:01 3070 XC3 Black 3751 10/29/2020 06:31:11 3060 XC Black 3655 02/25/2021 09:09:15 Hybrid 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid 3988 12/29/2020 19:39:00 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid 3978 12/20/2020 05:03:483080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Hybrid 3968 06/03/2021 07:52:39 3080 Ti XC3 Ultra Hybrid 3958 06/03/2021 08:09:49 3080 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid 3898-KL 12/16/ 2020 09:14:543080 XC3 Ultra Hybrid 3888-KL 12/10/2020 09:15:55 Hydro Copper 3090 FTW 3 Ultra HC 3989 04/15/2021 10:00:29 3090 XC3 Ultra HC 3979 06/23/2021 06:00:09 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra HC 3969 06/03/2021 07:54:47 3080 Ti XC3 Ultra HC 3959 06/15/2021 10:29:10 3080 FTW3 Ultra HC 3899 06/23/2021 06:00:15 3080 XC3 Ultra HC 3889 06/23/2021 06:00:09 K|NGP|N K|NGP|N HC (Queue) 3999 06/15/2021 09:17:29 K|NGP|N Hybrid (Queue) 3998 03/09/2021 20:14:50K|NGP|N HC Kit 1999 07/16/2021 11:24:46 May your remaining wait be shorter than you anticipate; it is already longer than you deserve. There is no ability currently to requeue. You simply need to look at your My Notifies page ( https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp) and reduce your current notifications down to no more than two registrations going forward.

enewtHere is the mock-up of the t-shirt. Just wondering why EVGA T-Shirts all black? Probably because they located in California, near ocean and cooling breeze always help then to prevent overheating on sun... come on guys! There plenty states where hot sun during summer and no breeze! We need more colors!
Use associate code to save 3% on your EVGA GPU purchase! And up to 10% on other products!

I will note in an intro when EVGA has them on the site for sale. Per my conversations with EVGA, it should be within the next week or so.

Thank you, EVGA. You were in a difficult spot. You are trying your best to accommodate the masses while in an unprecedented time. As my mom always said, you can’t please everyone all of the time, but despite that, you are trying. I appreciate your effort.
I have narrowed my choices down to two, the 3797 and the 3785.
I’m happy to see that everyone is in better spirits today. If I can send out a gentle message, remember as much as we all want a graphic card, there are far greater crisis going on in our world today. Having to wait on a GPU isn’t one of them. Life is short. Let’s not forget to be thankful.
All the best to you all, K.
Patiently waiting for one of the following GPUs: 08G-P5-3785-KL 08G-P5-3797-KL

enewt Here is the mock-up of the t-shirt.
Spoiler
(With the problems around EVGA's photo uploading....)
close
Very nice job on the t-shirt design. Can we have a notification queue to purchase the t-shirts? :)

Thanks. It is funny that you and a few others suggested a queue might be necessary. The open letter I sent to EVGA back in March including the following text: "I would absolutely buy a few of those shirts (in either XL or XXL depending on the success or failure of my new lifestyle change). If you include a newt crawling on one of the cards or otherwise depicted in the scene (in a positive light of course; electric green is my best color), I would absolutely buy one for each of my family members (including the cat). Do all of that and I have no doubt that you would need to create a new queue for this shirt series…. (Yup, I was/am not quite right in the head.)"
If a queue is necessary for the t-shirts, I will cut off my own tail (not sure what that means exactly, but it sounded good in the moment).
