Want to thank everybody for voicing their opinions on Monday's queue change. I was 28 minutes away from a 3070 ti ftw3 ultra but thought I'd never see it since I had taken a 3060 xc last month. The hope lives on now and puts meaning back into being an Elite Member!

rcoplien So will this mean my ques from 2/26 on the 10G-P5-3895-KR & 10G-P5-3597-KL will actually happen anytime soon????? I hear January folks have already been getting theirs.
No, I don't think so. It feels like we are about where we were on Friday...too much demand, too little supply. I think this change will have the impact of culling the queues for anybody that doesn't pay attention between now and October 11 and does not reduce to no more than two active registrations (by way of example, folks who are targeting the Tis that launched in the summer, but have prior registrations from last fall and fail to reduce to no more than two registrations...the net effect is that their Summer 2021 Ti registrations will no longer be operable...). If that happens in significant numbers...and I do think it will happen...the later-released queues...e.g., the Ti Ultras (air cooled) may move a touch faster than they otherwise would have absent this change in policy. But the big win here will be EVGA's ability to predict demand by SKU going forward. To date, EVGA has received very little market intelligence from the queues because by signing up for all of the available queues, the consumer base has not identified their preferred cards...folks just wanted whatever they could get. By limiting folks to just two queues, EVGA will garner some incremental knowledge about which SKUs are favored and may -- over time -- be able to direct more of those boards to the most popular SKUs. Bottom line, by making this change, I think EVGA will secure some additional market intelligence re the current remaining cohort of queue sitters and may also be able to focus their development efforts on specific cards...again over time (nothing overnight here).

The shirts look pretty darn good. Though... this is what I would suggest: Why not put that logo in the front where the EVGA logo is and on the back you put the list of cards and waiting times, y'know, the one you always post every weekday. To me at least that block of text containing the cards with the timestamps is the most iconic thing you can put and will serve as not only a quick memory of such an event but also help explain to others what the thing was about. Maybe put some info saying "X card moved .03 seconds today", or, "after waiting x months I finally got X card". But it looks fine as it is too. :) You making face masks btw?

Clearly I am not very original. Once of my earlier design ideas via a very ROUGH mock-up was the following...at the time I didn't have photoshop handy so was using Microsoft paint and not able to appropriately layer assets...(suboptimal). I had a lot of other ideas...some good and others no so good. There was a thought about salt mines and the distinctive "auto-notify" button...and definitely some ideation around s'mores, among other randomness. Both were abandoned (by me) for being too "inside EVGA Forums". And maybe the best kernel of an idea didn't come to me until after the design was locked.... Given that we are on version 2.1 of the Queue, maybe there will be an opportunity for a second shirt (and I won't miss the opportunity a second time).

Here is the mock-up of the t-shirt.
Love the design, enewt! Awesome job. I haven’t quite navigated the queue yet, but I would still buy one! It is very apropos for the situation, and I appreciate the humor. It would also commemorate the challenges of building my first computer. Again, great work!
Patiently waiting for one of the following GPUs: 08G-P5-3785-KL 08G-P5-3797-KL

So I'm seeing conflicting info, I just read an article I got randomly saying the que will move faster for people who have yet to receive an RTX, now people are saying it changed.... but changed until oct 11th...
I don't understand. I just want to add the main part of the high end computer (that is quickly becoming less high end them ore time goes by) that I built A YEAR AGO.
I've always wanted a top of the line computer all my life I FINALLY saved up for it and started building....... And this...... by the time I actually get my high end computer it's gonna be old an obsolete......
Why would they not have done this to begin with? If there is such a shortage like this it seems kind of ignorant not to make sure all those who have not gotten one yet gets one.
But whatever, I been in que for almost a year now. Based on the que time I did the math I have like 3-5 more years of waiting........ Have they changed it? Do people like me who have yet to get an RTX GPU get pumped up on the que!?!?
What's this about removing yourself form some ques? What do I need to do? God this is so annoying. Do I have to do anything other than continue to wait? Is my wait REALLY gonna be reduced since I've never gotten one yet?
I finally figured out how to register. Far easier than it used to be. Use MY coupon/Associates code: KFUZFPVZ3FJY14W

Please read the first post of this thread: https://forums.evga.com/Better-Queue-System-More-Gamers-to-Get-a-Card-m3477976.aspx It should provide some clarity. Best of luck on your watch!

I would most definitely buy some of these shirts for sure! 2 for myself and one for my friend who relied on me for his 3070 ti ha

mrwhitewalker Great update! Now I am conflicted, which two to keep?
- 3969 - 10 minutes away
- 3968 - 11 minutes away
- 3958 - 5 minutes away
- 3797 - 50 minutes away
How has the 3797 been moving along?
as others have said the 3797 has moved a lot. The hybrids also move a decent-ish amount. The one thing on your list that is at a snails pace is the 3969. I entered that queue at 8am on 6/3 and idk if you've been keeping track daily, but its been a nightmare pretty much seeing 2 big drops and about 3 or 4 tiny morsel drops. I would say if you want to do custom watercooling(or already have a custom watercooled system that you can simply install the hydrocopper into like in my situation where i have a 1080 ti hydrocopper currently), then ignore the hybrids. I would also say depending on your rig configuration and performance needs(and of course your wallet) you'll ultimately have to make the determination if you want a 3070 ti or a 3080 ti. Just do note that 10 minutes away on the 3969 could be a month away or 3 months or more, while 5-11 minutes away on the hybrids could be just one month away given how much its moved the past few.

Admit it...you just cannot quit us...we complete you.
I admit nothing! I don't need anybody or anything! Except this. And This. And This. The only notify I have left is the 3885 that I signed up for on 9/22/2020 - back when I thought I could easily get a reasonably (sort of) priced card for my reasonably (well...) priced build. That went well. I do not expect to ever get notified but I keep it as a momento. Maybe I'll switch it to KR so it lasts forever. Thank you for the prescription, Doc. It's definitely better than the salt pills.

toyboarder The problem isn't that this is a bad setup, it's that they did it after a year of the system being in place, with no warning. The only way this would have been okay is they had done it for purchases after implementation, period. That way anyone that was in the screwed situation that hundreds of people have posted about being in could be like OKAY I'm passing on any card that isn't my KP or 3080ti Hybrid or w/e, relatives can bugger off and figure it out for themselves.
This. Exactly this. The people who like the change think we should all be grateful that we are forced to settle, because they think this will help them get a card.
its about time EVGA did this it was unfair and im glad they came to their senses.to think anyone would think its fair to take the cards away from those who have been in queue much longer, your wrong.doesnt matter when they decided to do it.it needed to be done..period !!! @nomoss you think people using the step up doesnt hurt them ? really come on. @enewt ...it is fair, this should have been implemented along time ago anyone with an ounce of common sense can see that. some people are mad because they cant cut the line boo hoo.

I am wrong daily (just ask my poor wife)... But you literally have not received this Day 1 morning card in near 13 months, it is not coming and Jacob said as much when he (hinted) to go for FTW3 models. They need to rename this model to the 3080 Black Hole... because it is void of all stock and hope. Now that I have properly jinxed it, watch them "roll" in soon. Good luck, but this hope seems like a "sunk cost fallacy".

From JacobF, choose FTW3 Ultra and/or XC3 Ultra: EVGA_JacobF
Everyone,
As we continue to monitor the queue to get cards to gamers sooner, we appreciate all the feedback to help us to improve the queue system.
Due to the overwhelming demand for the 30 Series Products, our first step was to close the notify queue until we can fulfill them. Management team then took an extra step to prioritize those that have not received a card versus others who have been able to get multiple GPU’s.
After reading the feedback, there were legitimate concerns about retroactively changing the queue function. We are sorry for any frustration this caused, this was not the company’s intention. Today we are going to make the following updates:
1. The queue system will be rolled back to the previous rule.
- Anyone who missed a card from Monday, October 4th, will be notified on the next release.
- EVGA will continue to send notifies through October 8th.
2. In order to get cards to gamers sooner, please go to the notify page at https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp and keep only the top two cards selected that you would like to purchase, and remove the others.
- On October 11th, 2021, the system will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest entries.
- Going forward, the queue system will only allow for two 30 Series notifies on the current lineup.
- EVGA strongly suggests to keep the FTW3 ULTRA or XC3 ULTRA models due to consistent supply compared to limited supply on K|NGP|N, HYDRO COPPER and HYBRID due to supply constraints.
- EVGA is also going to be adding SMS verification to the checkout process for all notifications to catch bot orders.
3. The queue system will not be turned back on until the current queues are fulfilled. 4. The checkout window is 20 hours from the time of notification released.
EVGA appreciates your feedback to continue improving the queue system to deliver 30 Series cards into as many gamers hands as possible.
Thanks EVGA

Since Queuesday was ... interrupted, we may see a larger-than-usual Wednesday drop. Be sure to wear proper protective gear, as falling GPUs are a health hazard.
