So it seems today at least according to the spreadsheet that only 4 emails were sent out for the xc3 ultra so in reality was probably 10 cards or less.


I hope that wasn't the only shipment of XC3 ultras this week , there is no denying that XC3 aren't being prioritized (evidence of how many more ftw emails are sent out) and I know Jacob says that all models are being produced by at what rate?

Oh well what else can we do, I'm now curious about the Navi card now this close to the 28th. Here is hoping AMD has something really good so stock normalizes for all gpus if more cards come out.

Everything's pointing to it, but we'll have to see. Their ray-tracing solution is going to basically be useless, which isn't a big deal because few developers have even implemented Nvidia's, but not having anything like DLSS is the big weight on their backs atm. As for pure rasterization, it seems they will get very very close to the 3080 in performance. Coupled with the fact that they're tripling down on driver issues because of last launch, and this may be the turning point for actual competition in the future. Availability should be better too, but who knows how that will work out to.
 
If people have an easily accessible alternative, then it'll be a pressure release valve for the 3080, which will scare the scalpers and keep the from buying cards for reselling since people would rather go down in price for minor performance lost than up in price for a secondhand card. The 3070 launch will hopefully do the same. Fingers crossed that the queue really picks up in early November. I mean, we're getting close to my spot on the morning of the 17th but yeesh 3 weeks to get through an hour has me scared.

I'm my local area the scalpers are starting to lower their prices , I just checked 3080 on Craigslist and out of 38 posted 30 are now $1100 or less, one was $950.

So it seems and hopefully that locally people are just not willing to pay 2x , it's ebay the problem although $1500 on eBay not really that since ebay takes 10% plus PayPal I think 4%? so that's like $1300 or so, still significant. My hope is that AMD has a really good card and that should help spread the interest across all gpus (3080,3070 and 2 big Navi) therefore hopefully with production ramping up that this bot and scalper problem ends asap for video cards.

Still about 30 positions away from that ballpark, with somewhat of an idea from the spreadsheet.

I noticed that my position is going in a wrong direction. Just in a week I slipped for 50+ on one card and 40+ on other.
Means that more people are reporting to spreadsheet than deleting from list (having card purchased). 
Brutal reminder:
Second month after "launch day" I have less chances to get any 3000 card.

What rub me on a wrong way is postponed 2070 launch day.
NVIDIA should be ashamed for misleading, laying, not telling the truth about production numbers to us-their loyal customers.
My thoughts:
It might be a time to leave Nvidia ship and switch on Radeon cards.

Can someone on Twitter (I don't have it) ask Jacob when exactly the production will ramp up for the cards and how many months of that little to no cards per day/week we need to go through before everyone get theirs?
 
He said often that it would ramp up and that getting a card wouldn't be a problem in October but this is not happening so far, and there doesn't seem to be any improvement on the horizon anytime soon...
 
Can we please get info on the whole situation?

Jacob posts here from time to time, and he gets asked that daily.  They do not know exact times.  Follow the last email time for your sku and view the spreadsheet to get a better idea.  We are all doing our best to inform each other, but EVGA simply cannot answer things they do not know.

The day I signed up for the 3080 notify only the XC3 cards were listed on the EVGA site. Little did I know that this didn't mean they would be the first and most abundant cards produced. I am likely getting a day one email from EVGA when they decide to release the XC3 Gaming Black but I still think it's crappy that there is no ETA insight. Why list the cards least likely to ship/sale first, how does this make sense?
