Wow! My step up for the 3080 FTW3 and my notify (10G-P5-3897-KR 9/21/2020 4:23:14 PM PT) for the 3080 FTW3 came within a few weeks from each other. I used your code also Enewt.

P.S her name is going to be Eva!

What was your step up submission date? Just got a 3060 but I'm wondering if stepping up to the 3897 is pointless now.

Is there an easy way to access the past updates to the queue, i.e. when you post on the google doc about the movement on any card? I want to make function that will extrapolate e-mail time based on queue sign-up date, but this will need as many  datapoints from the past queue movement as possible. I'd like to start with the 3897 SKU first.

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2021/05/26 17:08:14 (permalink)
Lots of movement today (yay)!
None for me (boo)!

Not surprising as I initially only asked to be notified about the 3881 (still 24 hours from today's movement). This was before before we even knew there was a queue system or that there would be such a card shortage. By the time I became aware of both, it was too late to get in except for the 3060 (my nephew is enjoying that card). I'm "stuck" with a 3090FE that I almost didn't buy because of the price.

Anyway, I like to stop by this thread every few days to catch up. Someone (almost) always gives me a chuckle - be it enewt's intro, someone else's humor, or some insane conspiracy theory/rant.

So, I hope someone gets a chuckle from this screenshot. I almost crapped myself (figuratively) when I initially saw the email. Unfortunately, it was for the 240mm aio.
Enjoy and start warming up those clicking fingers for the TI queues.

This KP HC is a hefty hunk of copper 😆
So clean though, didn't expect it to be quite so long though, It's longer then my mobo 🤣
The ease that this thing sucks down power is nuts, pulling 440-450w on stock bios at 150 1000 and maxed voltage slider and power at max of 104%
Edit-Stock bios is not worth the time, good for backup when something goes wrong to troubleshoot lol

Since I wasn't able to get into the KPE HC queue, I'm hoping when I get my FTW3 Ultra HC(6 Seconds out), I'll be able to OC it somewhat close to the KPE HC.

You can look at our community spreadsheets (in my signature), where we have done this. You will notice that this function has fallen apart in the last few months, as there is essentially zero consistency in the timing and magnitude of drops anymore. Still, you could use it for fun I suppose.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon!

If you found the spreadsheet useful, please consider using my associate code for your next purchase:

Just crawl the posts.  If you're feeling extra brave, do the same with some reddit ones as well.  It'll make you more useful if you can implement that.  Anyone can come up with the easy part.

It's all good. I'm getting it delivered to a reliable location instead of where the neighbors can swipe it from my door before the delivery driver is back in the van. The driver will most likely be greeted by fresh, homegrown pineapple and snap peas from the garden.,

Considering that I can find my old notify I think the new one I did some days ago will most likely arrive next year, that’s a bit upset

AFAIK Valid notifies are tied to an EVGA account.  Given your account is a week old, I don't imagine it is possible to have a notify older than that.  Did you do the first notify under a different email?  If so, that email needed to have an EVGA account.

But elite members do get to queue up for pre orders before normal members, no?

ad nauseam
1.  Yes, on release day, the auto notify opens to elite members for 24 hours after which it is available for everyone.
2.  This is not a pre-order, you are not buying anything at that time.  When your queue position comes up, you will receive an invite to purchase email and then you decide if you want to buy it or not.

I quote your answer because there are many people do not write anything
But read only

and your reply is so good like it was written by Evga

This is a meaningless post by a spammer. Are any EVGA mods going to suspend users who are doing this? Or at least delete the posts? I know many people are making tons of low effort posts to try to get into the elite program, but these kinds of posters just waste everyone's time and EVGA's server resources. Shouldn't this kind of behavior be discouraged? Especially when they're doing it just before the Ti launches. This is one way for scalpers to get multiple cards faster than others - just spam the boards with several accounts to then submit many notify requests for all SKUs. It's ultimately going to hurt existing and soon-to-be elite members and diminish the value of the community. I think this warrants some kind of attention in an official capacity.

^^^ We were talking about this the other day on discord.  There should be some "vesting" period if EVGA is going to allow Elite membership to be achieved by 100 posts or some Twitch views.  There are folks on here who exclusively have purchased EVGA for years, who promote EVGA's cards and customer service to everyone.  And then there are the "come-latelys".  I am sure EVGA wants your business and everyone is the new guy at some point, but what happened to having to pay some dues?

We often talk about fair/unfair here, and it is usually whiny bullcrap because "fair" to some always means whatever benefits them the most...  However, I don't see how a customer loyalty program should not be based on years of membership, money spent, etc.  Best Buy doesn't drop Elite Plus status on you just because you signed up the week before Customer Appreciation Month.  You have to spend the dough to get it.

Playing devil's advocate, I expressed similar feelings about the LTT "verified gamer" program and was told to just stop being salty and accept it. It was something EVGA chose to do and I should just shut up and be happy.  This is what EVGA chose to do and we should just be happy they are doing a queue system at all. Just have to stay on top of it and get on the 3080TI notify queue early.

And yes, bought my EVGA 1080TI and CPU AIO in the past.

I agree with Arnett and Drewski. It also takes up all of our time here to be like "what are they talking about? Who are they responding to? What are they even trying to say?". It's not even about how long you've been here but more about the effort to contribute. If you hit your 100 posts being involved in forum discussions, cool. However, if it's just random garbage, it really shouldn't count. But there's no way to enforce that en mass without someone going through and reviewing everyone's comments when they apply for Elite status, and that would be an even bigger waste of everyone's time. lol

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2021/05/27 04:41:22 (permalink)
I’m one of the recent (February) members to the forum and did not even know my past purchases (not through evga website though) qualified me to be “elite”.

To be honest, I didn’t know about what elite status was until after several weeks on the forum, but while I agree that “post your way to elite” is quite a nuisance, it is what eVGA chose to do and what I feel about it will not change anything so I’m resigned to the trash posts/threads that come with it. The only thing I can do is not to help add to the trash, so I try not to respond and post to those threads.

Though if I’m completely honest I was quite bitter for a couple days at eVGA with the KPE HC notify queue fiasco when probable new elite were able to get in and some of us did not even see the submit button. But, c’est la vie.

Oh my god. I just checked Enewts queue summary for yesterday and the 3897 queue jumped 8 AND A HALF HOURS!!!!!!! My enjoyment is immeasurable. I’m now only 14 hours away!!

I’m also at microcenter attempting to get a card as well. We will see how that goes
