Rockville is a place I know exists, but I've never been there. There is a fairfax MC, but I've never been there either. Sad but true, I get panic attacks when I drive anymore. That makes me nervous about moving away from an area with buses and trains for most places you want to go. Means I'll have to get over it, or live out in a shed in the back and not see other people.
But I'm game for meeting up in rockville or whatever stupid place in maryland makes sense to have our souls crushed with lack of availability. Worse yet, they have one card for the lot of us. It becomes a scrum. That would suck, but it would probably be a fun story to tell. Plus, no sad faced person to mark our conversations as spam.
Bolded part is exactly the worrying part. I went there several times on my legitimate off days just to see what was happening and how the card deliveries were, and have to say it was dismal. One of the days they got total of five cards of all denominations! The other time, the kid I talked to said he and two of his friends arrived 1 am and they were 20-22 in the line. In all honesty, as a person that’s usually at his desk by 6 am, to take the whole day off for what stock may or may not appear is riskier than I’d like, but as they say, desperate times calls for desperate measures.
It's no worries at all. Years ago, when I was a kid, I lived in California. Anaheim. I'd go to Angels games, and the traffic was terrible, the games weren't that great, but the weather was awesome. Sometimes you just go out to go out, and that's all that matters.

What a poor system EVGA has set up. No feed back of where on que a person is. You have 24 hours once notified to purchase or back in the que you go. I have been waiting for over six months, really in six months you can not get me a GPU that I want?. If I am gone camping this weekend and I get notified, I will miss it and start all over. Why can they not use texts? I can get that where I camp.

Don't like the queue or evga's stock levels? Buy a gpu somewhere else then. Oh wait! You can't. Because this stock shortage has nothing to do with evga. Also there is a really handy spreadsheet where users enter their queue/notification submission time and report when they get emails to purchase. Following this you can a have pretty good idea where queue is at. Enter your information on it and then you can see where it's at. Google "evga spreadsheet megathread" it's on the first page of that thread.

I totally get your frustration, bud I have EXTREMELY good news for you! If you miss your purchase window because you were camping, and you only miss it by a couple of days, there's this great way to communicate with folks called EMAIL that they have now! You just send your friendly neighborhood EVGA sales team an email, let them know about your situation, and they are highly likely to help you out. Everyone I have seen here that has reached out to EVGA in a timely manner has been taken care of and able to order their card. Were that not the case, I would agree with you, but EVGA is going to great lengths to do the best they can with what little stock they have to take care of their customers.

You really get a chance to get a card during this sh**ty period (even if it means waiting for months) and you complain cos you might miss it if you go camping? Hey at least you went camping man… 😎 So maybe you shouldn’t plan any vacation this summer too in case you get notified during your away time. Then you can complain even more that EVGA forced you to not go on vacation this summer… 😂😘

Good Evening, here is the daily status for the EU queues.
The first update of the week is also the last. Yep, it was an almost silent stretch.
The Cursed 3060 continues bellow the first minute, I don't bother to count the seconds anymore, it's painfull to watch.
The 3090 continues it's trend of going silent for a few weeks and adding days to the clock, it mocks the other lines, 2 days more since the last self-report, the next move should put it in November.
There is also a new line, I added it in hopes that someone will report on it, I know you people exist, please let yourselves be known.

The EVGA Queue system is the worst way to purchase a 30 series gpu except for all of the others. EVGA only sends out invite to purchase emails on weekdays (excluding EVGA holidays). And, if you miss your 8 hour window when the invite to purchase email arrives, PM me and I will try to get you sorted (or post to this thread and our stellar community of frustrated wall-sitters will pipe up). Have a great camping trip (but, seriously, stay off your phone...you're going to be in nature...and that sh!t won't last forever...whereas the plastic in your iPhone...it will)!

Arguably, I think camping microcenter is probably a faster way to get a 3000 series. You can get one in like a week max where here even if you signed up 5 days, you are stuck in a queue for months at a time.

Depending on the SKU, yes, the 3090 moved faster because it was a niche card with a higher price tag, but generally speaking, if you were late, you're outta luck period, especially now. ENewt letting his AIO'ed Kingpin spot go still hurts me and it ain't even mine. I toldja you shoulda gotten the card when your spot was called & gotten the block later like I did :(

Maybe the suffle will be kind today?
I actually won the Newegg Shuffle yesterday after 6 tries. Unfortunately, I won the chance to purchase a Gigabyte Radeon RX 6700 XT Eagle 12GB Card, and a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC Mobo which I purchased, and paid for (being so exited I even won) but I have never bought anything AMD, and dont even keep up on the performance ratings of those cards. I guess I figured If I won an AMD card, I would offer to make a deal for a swap for an RTX Card plus some cash if needed... After reading reviews, it seems this card was competing with the RTX 3070 which starts at around $500 retail, and yet I paid $889.99 for this card (Plus another $219.99 for the mobo) so I ended up canceling the order and getting a full refund. Dident want to sell it on Ebay to make any kind of money, or go through the hassle of doing so...
I will just keep entering as many times as it takes for me to get an RTX 3080, or even a RTX 3090 if need be..... Good luck to all of you out there. I feel your pain, and frustration! It sucks having money in your pocket to buy the card you want but cant.... This is all new to me, and most people out there. Usually you want something you dont have the money for (That's common) But to have the money for an Item that is not available to purchase (at a decent price) is just really, really odd......

Removed my notifications just now, bitter sweet I got another vendors card through The Shuffle.
My 960 FTW and 1070 FTW were both great cards, this whole shortage thing is quite unfortunate.
Hopefully this is all sorted out by 40 series and I can come back EVGA FTW.

They will email you. I tend to check the auto notify page daily because that also gets updated. If they don't get sent to your spam folder though, email is solid to check. You can whitelist that if you like, but for most people, it will simply show up.

I had idea of making electric guitar once, then i saw that what pain in the ass would be just to get completed neck and install it body not to mention creating one myself, that seemed impossible.
