How is the queue movement on the 3090 FTW3? A friend of mine signed up on 11/29/2020. Do you think he's better off looking elsewhere?

Yeah, he's on Discord and very recently got a couple of bots running but I don't think he's hit the jackpot just yet.

If I look on the 3090 Queue on Europe for the people that provided data with the self reports, the 3090 didnt move for a month, even longer. I am in queue, before you for a october month and I realy don't believe I will get one.
 
You have better luck to getting it for another website but that markup is too much, just too much.
 
Honestly you have better luck gunning for the 3080 TI craze.

Simply reply back to the notification email ASAP and explain your situation.  Some people have had success with doing this and EVGA has issued them a new link to buy but it is not guaranteed. 

Ayeeeee, we're finally back in action! I don't know about everyone else, but the forum was NOT working for me all morning. The times went from "five minutes ago" to very specific times. It also listed the exact time someone joined the community instead of just the date. I was worried I had gotten banned from the thread for some reason

It's not GUARANTEED, but it's very likely that even if you missed it, as long as you follow a few steps within a day or two, you should be able to still order your card. You respond to the email stating your intent to buy, and then contact EVGA customer service via phone. I think the few times we've heard of them not helping people, it was weeks/months after they had received their notification.

It's worth giving it a shot. Try contacting them and MAYBE they'll make your day :)
 

Looks like the Step Up queue got some serious love this week. Congrats to them!  However, this makes me think no love is going to be sent my way on the 3897s this week.  I hope I am wrong.  NO Whammies.

Today's drop should include some stragglers from yesterday, including at least one Kingpin unit.  Additionally, there is always the possibility that EVGA was busy distributing their new motherboard yesterday (it dropped late Monday and thus shipped on Tuesday) and did not have enough shipping bandwidth to send "invite to purchase" emails for all of their available inventory. (Yes, I acknowledge that this makes almost no sense...please don't judge me.)
 
We should know how good or bad today will be by 11:30 am PT....
 
By the way, am I the only one that thinks Dogecoin should be pronounced Doggie-coin? It shouldn't even be a debate.  Puppies are the best. And, no, I have never invest...er...gambled in that cybercurrency. But I do love puppies.

I had an argument with someone who thought a 5950X+550W PSU was a sound and logical bundle.  Then I asked about having a GPU in that system.  Oddly I haven't received a response.  Those bundles are primed to start a lot of fires for the naïve.

Best of luck.  My only gripe is, we know that things are messed up with manufacturing the chips, and shipping, and everything that goes with that.  In normal times it makes a ton of sense to have all of these different SKUs.  There's a lot of different types of buyers out there.  The effort to try and match buyer diversity when stock is all over the place is misguided.  I can't blame any AIB for thinking they needed to continue that trend last September, but by February they should have figured that out. 
 
I'm technically on the 3655 list (vram matters for me), but if I can get a 3090 before that comes up, I will drop the 55 like it's hot.  For all the 3080 enthusiasts, it's likely more frustrating.  Condense the offerings in accordance to availability on evga's side.  Send an email to people to let them be streamlined into the cards evga can actually make and offer direct.  I understand the contractual obligations.  I know it isn't any of the AIBs fault for that and other things.  But for the queue, streamline it if someone opts into doing so.
 
And yes, when people who already got a card that completes their system say things like, well why didn't you queue up in the first minute?  Maybe people didn't know.  Maybe people were busy working.  It's a wild time.  I have money in my pocket today, but I can't say I will in six months.  Any seller would be better to not have would-be buyers sitting on the sidelines for months on end.
 
This may look like salt, but it's really sugar.  I'm sweet like that.

I've been signed up for a 3090 ftw3 (24G-P5-3985-KR) since January 27 and STILL haven't received a notification from EVGA. I've been sitting on an incomplete build since then. I would love to stick with EVGA since I've bought 2 cards from them, but hot damn this is taking forever...
