While digging around for EU release news, yup still nada, I came across this link :   , guess that is where you will be able to find OC info. Still bare bones atm though.

I had my 4820k overclocked to 4.5 GHz on the X79 board prior to this and it was solid for over 5 years at that.
This platform is certainly somewhat different and new to me.
Even at stock settings this new rig is spanking the previous one nicely.

I didn't find anything that tricky with OC'ing the Dark. Kept it simple, stayed to the basics, ended up getting great results. The only thing that was a little confusing at first was understanding how the different Vdroop settings work. Did a little trial and error to see what kept me closest to my vcore override and that was it. The stress testing tool is great for showing what your vcore will adjust to on load when testing the different vdroop settings.

So mainly I want to of course set a fixed multi for the cores, adjust vcore and vdroop.
Should AVX be set to 0?
 
And what about LLC?
 
I will say my gaming performance in VR is quite good already, but would not mind having a little better also.

LLC is vdroop. Just different label. I set AVX offset to 2

1_ I wonder if the Z390 Dark is compatible with any 1151 cooler?
2_ Why does this board have only 2 DDR Ram memory slots?
3_ Are you having any problems with the Z390 Dark?
4_ Are these slots next to the pci only for NVMe PCIe M.2?

1.   my 1155 EK supreme worked on this board and I verified it with EK months ago.  if you are asking if the 1151 will fit 1151 coolers?  the holes will line up.    Some water cooling blocks are adjustable for for different architecture.    Personally, this board is design for higher overclocks.  if you want 5 ghz or better, maybe look at water cooling.   Hope I understand your question right.  
2.  2 slots reduce draw on the memory controller and you get higher overclocks vs. 4 dimms.  It's an overclocking board, primarily

I do not intend to overclock it, but I would not like to use water cooling. I want to use an air cooler.
But which CPU Closed Loop Cooler would you recommend?

as for cooling itself noctua NH D15 or any corsair 360mm aio.

I mean I will not overdo the overclocking, but I want a sturdy motherboard that will not give me a headache, because I already lost 2 Mobo Asus.

get the corsair.   I couldn't recommend air (would be like putting a spoiler on a cadillac).  Once you have a water loop, you won't want to go back.    Corsair has made it easy.  So easy, I have two office PCs on their closed loops.  Quiet and efficient.   Get the biggest radiator your case can afford.   with the corsair, I'd suspect you can get 5.0...maybe  5.1   You need a good waterloop for 5.2 and I have a great waterloop but for 5.3, it's puts me over 80C at full load.  I personally just don't want to go that high.  I bought the board for a stable 5.1 daily.

However I had plenty of room in this case for it. (360mm rad).

Curious to know how far that cooling takes you.  and btw, if you need overclocking help.   Make a post of your own and I'll try with others to get  you going.  There's not an EVGA overclocking guide, but I think one is in the works.  ASUS has one and may work.  But it's not that hard.

Welp so from what I've heard, evga will not be restocking the dark on their own website nor their ebay & will be selling the remainder of their stock on amazon.com or b&h which is only a good thing for the US market so still no luck for us Europeans.
On amazon they state the dark to be shipped anywhere from March to April which is quite ridiculous.
Don't know why evga doesn't want to say anything about this but whatever; i think at this point i'll end up selling my 9900k and grabbing the ryzen 2 cpus since its already late into intels 9th gen cpus and would only have probably less than 3 months of owning the highest end tech.
