TERMINATOR-T100 HELLO EVGA X99M MICRO 2 SUPPORT MEMORY XMP PROFILE: 2800/3000/3200 MHZ ? Hello, all of our X99 motherboards support DDR4 memory speeds 3200MHz+. You may not be able to achieve these speeds without overclocking the processor however. If you would like to view our tested memory list you can do so at this link http://www.evga.com/support/motherboard/

Always boots to bios. I'm using a 950 pro m.2, it is the only storage drive in my PC. Reset defaults in bios, then enable m.2 save and reset and I get windows. Restarting the system I get windows. Power off, I get bios when power on. *Edit: With the help of an EVGA tech we narrowed it down to just a Bios setting. I will post the settings soon.

Also, I have an extra Micro 2 board in sealed package. If anyone wants to buy it before I send it back let me know. My original order got screwed up, and then out of the blue it arrived, so i have two and right now they are sold out.

My system is running great. I wish I would have gotten a bigger case though, the Evolv case with two extra 140mm fans in the ceiling is too loud.

drpower We should ask EVGA. I bought it from Amazon.ca on Dec.4th and it gets delivered later today. I live in Victoria BC, where do you live? This is for a new in sealed box Micro 2 board
I wouldn't do that. Reason is, once a "second hand" gets a hold of a item whether its new or used, the Warranty by default on that item gets pushed to the date it was manufactured instead of the date of purchase. I found this out when I purchased my second GPU (used) for SLI. For example, if an item was shelved for a long time and someone bought it and than sold it, that time wasted on the shelf eatens up the warranty for any user but the original purchaser.

I'm getting mixed info on the memory. The X99 Micro2 takes quad channel memory, but G.Skill Ripjaws F4-3200C16Q-32GVK is dual channel 3200Mh. EVGA stats says it works, but G.Skill stats say its compatible with the Z170. If the timing is 16-16-16-36, then couldn't u use F4-3200C16D-32GVKA (2x16gb) thus get the max 64gb Looking to built this: Thermaltake Level 10 GT EVGA 131-HE-E095-KR LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 2011-v3 Noctua NH-D15 SSO2 D-Type Premium CPU Cooler EVGA GeForce GTX 960 04G-P4-3967-KR 4GB SSC EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR 80 PLUS GOLD 850 W ECO

Why so much RAM and only a GTX 960 on a X99 setup? You could just go down the i5/i7 Z170 route. Also the case, is a waste of money. Very old design and overpriced. Horrible case to water cool in if you ever chose to down the road. For that kind of funds, I would purchase a newer case from Corsair or NZXT.

If you use a 5820k on the Micro2 board you'll only get x8 in the second pci-e slot because your NH-D15 will cover the first pci-e slot, get the NH-U14S or NH-U12s to allow use of the top slot. How do I know? I just went through this with my system. Or you could get a 5930k and the second slot will be x16. And 650w PSU is already overkill for single GPU even overclocking everything.

What setting did you change? I'm assuming you enabled s3/s4 compatibility? Without that enabled then I've found that on a cold boot with a 950 pro windows will NOT boot, it takes you to the bios, and if you try and exit the bios it takes you straight back to it until you enable s3/s4 compatibility. Which would be fine...IF it didn't lock the bclk (not the most important thing if I'm honest as bclk shouldn't really be touched on Haswell, it's not like Skylake) but it limits ram speed to 2800MHz

You might want to install heatsink for the 950 pro. It runs hot! wiretap Got my Micro2 Just waiting on several more parts, then I can power it up.

Although it runs hot that should not affect performance

If I have problems with it, I'll send it back. I don't want to void the warranty by ripping the label off to install heatsinks which probably won't fit behind the graphics card.

What's the story with this board Jacob? I've had my eyes on it for the intent of this build for months. Has it been sorted yet? I'm not seeing reviews that I'd like to see on NE and elsewhere. Mother's Day is coming up and I've had this lined up to be used in the build I'm going to do for my wife for MD but it seems to have issues. I need to get the order placed soon to have it in time and I don't want any unreasonable issues. I'm an extremely experienced builder so I rarely have any real issues. The plans are this: EVGA X99 Micro2 Samsung 950 Pro M.2, will be boot drive and I've seen a lot of issues about this. Resolved? Mem- undecided so far but will be 16GB of something compatible. EVGA GTX 960 4G (Must be the forums have been redone since I was here last, shows me as new but my old reg worked.)

Hi what the maxim memory RAM Speed? Does it support all the Haswell e processors? Does it have usb 3.1? How do you overclock this as I don’t have clue this why I like the 5 way optimization with auto tuning from asus. Is there any way you can do the same idea with your own program? Your the only one that I can find with 3.1 and type c.

I should have done my research!!!!.... ....I purchased the i7 6850K and wanted to go Micro with either the Asus X99-M WS or the Evga X99 M2, but it's been a mission impossible to get, I did manage to find the (Asus X99-M WS), but man did I go through some **** to get it from Canada! ..Now I'm having issues where the Mobo is stuck on (CODE 00) don't know if it's the Mobo or Cpu ...Luckily for me I have a family member with the same CPU on his Mobo, so I can test the Cpu and I'm hoping the Cpu is the issue!!...Why?....Because of that whole Canada doesn't ship the Mobo directly to the U.S. ordeal. Update : It was the CPU, it died.
