sounds good, nateman. I will see if I can send one. if someone closer could depending on where you live it might be faster lol. I live in Alaska. so it would take up to a week to get to lower 48.

well i live down here in the contiguous states so i wouldnt mind sending it for reference. i could also send the block with it for reference if you need it but im sure you prefer to create things from scratch ;P suppose this really belongs in the 680 classy interest thread though XD cant wait to post on it :). can work out the details and whatnot when the thread is posted :) one more thing... my 680 classy has an evbot connector. im sure there are others out there with it, but it would be very important that the block take account for that XD since I know there are alot of 680 classy's (and the 770 classy's) that dont have it.

I received the Customs declaration number, I tried to put it on usps.com, but the answer is: - Tracking information is not available at this time. Please check back later or double-check the tracking number entered and try again.
It is normal or did I do something wrong? Thanks

I believe a customs declaration number means you go to customs, give them your declaration number to pick it up from them.... I could be wrong, but ive dealt with customs before..... they are very picky. they sent back an item i shipped to france once, because the invoice wasnt IN the box.... I was quite livid as it cost me 70 dollars to send that freaking package. not to mention the worry of 5 weeks not knowing what the hell happened to 900 dollars worth of card (back when you could sell gtx680 classifieds with the block and evbot connector for that much).

Do you mean that the package will not arrive at my house? Should I wait or should I do something?

Hey Nate, finally getting my Cosmos Cruizer build wrapped up. Here's a quick shot of your block in place, with all the rigid tubing. I'll get better pics up after I get everything painted and the loop filled. Thanks again!

Anyone have advice on how to mount these? Everyone using thermal tape? I suspect there will be unevenness with the different chips. Any TIM in a addition tape? Also I notice the underside of the chipset block is not exposed copper. I'm wondering if I should use a non conductive TIM like ceramic or something.

You can always lap the chipset block if you want. Since that South bridge block gives off like, 10W or something, its not the focus of thermal worries... your vreg is. Try out different combo's and see what works best for you. CharlesLam wow. talk about custom epic awesome.
Thanks!

Should I? Do you think the guys that makes them will hook me up?! literally... 5 years ago TODAY is when my X58 went live. 5 years to the DAY today, my X79 Dark goes LIVE. What are the odds?! And what are the odds of going that long without an upgrade?! Kudos to the X58 platform. It was (is) rock solid and ran every application I threw at it for the past half a decade.

I firmly believe it would still be fine if my ancient power supply didnt bite the dust. It was a refurbished Antec 1KW. Lasted for yeeeaaarrrs. but I overclocked like crazy for a while, so I am sure it shortened the lifespan.

Board will look sick with blocks... How that is hard and need precise work... But you can't more custom than this, maybe is time for designing some universal VGA block for wide non-reference graphic cards. This is incredible job. Hey nateman_doo. I recently had my E760 X58 Classified mobo quit on me. And I received the same rma deal you did. I now own a X79 Dark. Evga is GREAT the way they honored my warranty. I will be dropping a 3930K in it soon. A friend is giving me a great deal on one. Anyway I see that you are making waterblocks for the Dark. And I am very interested in your product. I will drop you a pm for pricing & availability. I am looking forward to the new platform. But I sure do miss my X58. That board was a tank! Lol

Just wanted to post and thank Nate again for his fantastic work on the Dark Vreg and Chipset blocks. System been purring exceedingly well and vreg temps under load never above 43C. Current 24/7 is a 4930k Oc'd to 4.6 on 1.29v and memory solid at 1866mhz with 1.55v. Very happy with this build. For anyone wanting blocks Nate is the Guy to goto. Top notch all the way around in quality. I hope Nate continues this " Hobby" on the side for a good while cause every new build i'm gonna be checking if he will be making blocks for new MB's coming down the pipe :) Thanks again Nate!

Glad to hear back from "Dark Alumni"! :) Nothing makes me happier then to hear you guys are happy with the blocks! I will keep on making blocks, and new machines to make the blocks. Probably the most fun hobby I ever had. I hit pause on my new machine to take care of the mounting orders of other blocks. Now I have to break hearts. The SR2 folks beat you guys. I still need 2 more bodies for this batch. I have Vaperstylz & euncall that will fill up the batch if they check their PM's and send me their paypal email address. I will order your stuff right away and get to work on it as soon as the small SR2 batch is cut. On the bright side, they do cut faster then the Darks. Simply because its 1 fixture plate for the SR2's vs 2 fixture plates for the Darks. I know drake, lamechw, and fusion have been waiting a while since they sent their deposits in a while back but I have to fill the batch. There are a few quirks I am trying to figure out on my Dark board. First, it doesn't restart. When I have windows go to restart, it just shuts down. I have to turn it back on. Plus it takes a while to get to windows. I just printed the owners manual since it didn't come with the RMA board, but I think I will have some fun with this board.
