Give the opportunity to the Elite OG long time members who haven't bought or registered a 3000 series card during this time check their accounts period. Im one of them. You think is fare a member have bought most of the top 3000 series cards and dares to enter into the queue again to get these gpus again? That's just plain greedy and inconsiderate. You guys in EVGA see that and dont do squad.
I really do hope there's a question that says if you owned or bought a 3000 series card the past 2 years in that point scale

Maybe read the Queue 3.0 notes again.  This will prioritize first time purchasers of 30xx cards.

Prioritize who? The newly 100 post meme members who never post or contribute to the forums again after buying the gpu or the long time members who have contributed more during the past years?

I did not expect de-prioritization means behind first-time purchaser in all tiers. I cannot say it is good or bad. I just feel this is not right.

I wonder what do the following 2 rows in "My Notifies" mean?

US6/30/2021 8:12:50 AM PTNoFalse      US12/2/2020 8:48:35 AM PTYesTrue
The notification for 3663 has been sent (and expired), but still marked as Active, for 3783 has been not, but marked as Inactive. This doesn't make sense to me, can someone explain?

That the previous number even expired still active in the buying queue since notification was sent waiting on your reply. While the most recent is not active since no notification was sent

I'm not 100% clear on what will happen specifically for the 3050 launch which will fall in Queue 3.0.

Like many others, I have 2 products in queue 2.0.

When 3050 launches, can I sign up for the 3050 card in queue 3.0 and still retain the other 2 VGA card spots in queue 2.0, therefore 3 cards in total? OR do I need to relinquish 1 2.0 spot to sign up for the 3050 in the 3.0 queue.

Sorry I went through the thread and I'm still not sure.

Thank you for the help!

Must go down to two.  And if you are targeting the 3050 launch, I would reduce down to two before 1/27.

You can only have two cards in in the queue, either two from 2.0, or one from 2.0 and one from 3.0, or two from 3.0. I also had to cancel one card in order to get into the 3080 12GB queue.

i like the bones of this program, but does it actually reward customers who stick with EVGA?

a friend of mine is trying to upgrade this year, his last build was in 2017. i've known him for years and when upgrade time roles (we often tend to sync up) i know he favors EVGA gear.

but if i'm reading the rules right, that means none of his EVGA equipment will actually count towards his score - his 1070 card would be reduced in score weight, but it doesn't even count anyway - it was purchased more than 3 years ago, and the page indicates points only count for 3 years from date of purchase.

just looking at GPUs, it seems weighted towards people who have recently bought cards, mostly 2000 series owners, or 3000 series owners who got cards from somewhere besides EVGA.

valuable customers to retain since they like to spend, if that's your goal - but if you want to also keep brand evangelizers in your ecosystem, there should be a better balance, maybe something besides a blanket 3-year cut off. who's buying a 1000w titanium PSU planning to scrap it in 3 years?

just some stuff i was thinking about. he just got an ultrawide screen monitor and his 1070 is creaking under the strain. i've been trying to help him get a card but it'd be nice if there was a way for EVGA's programs to reward people like him, who are on (what i consider to be) a more normal 3+ year upgrade schedule.

I'm kind of in the same boat as your friend, on the 3+ year upgrade cycle. I have a 650 P2 and 1070 that I bought over 3 years ago with the intention of upgrading my build every other GPU generation. I figured I would be able to upgrade my build with better GPU availability by Spring 2021, but we all know how that turned out lol

I'm also in that boat. This program is especially deflating to loyal EVGA customers still trying to upgrade 10 series cards. Many of us are going to be barely outside the 3 year purchase window.

I've been a long time EVGA customer. I got excited today when I heard the 3.0 queue would reward brand loyalty. EVGA was finally going to return the love! Then, I got to the fine print on the 3 year cutoff and...ugh...there went the wind out of my sails.

I suppose I'll get a few measly points for some recently purchased peripherals and CLC. But unfortunately, the numerous EVGA video cards and power supplies I've bought over the years apparently count for nothing. For high-end PSUs and GPUs, five years is a much more reasonable service window. Especially GPUs considering supply issues stretch back longer than 3 years. I didn't exactly have an easy time sourcing my EVGA 1080ti. Then, I saw no need to upgrade until the 3080 came along. I hesitated, hoping supply issues would improve (boy was I wrong). Now I get to wait even longer.

Can someone say what time the que was opened and then how long until it closed?  Did the que open this morning at 8:00am CST or a different time?  Did it close 20 minutes (more/less) later due to being full?

*To celebrate EVGA Queue 3.0, the users with the 300 highest EVGA Scores will be exempt from this requirement for select future launches, beginning with the GeForce RTX 3080 12GB. These users may sign up for a notification and proceed without being deprioritized for a previous 30 Series purchase from EVGA.com. This offer is only good for one product/notification queue, and once the product is purchased it may not be used again.

How will someone know if they have this exemption?

I am also curious about this!

Hey atfrico!  As a long timer with quite a large number of BR and (most likely) a good number of EVGA buks from those BR, or folding, or registrations... you should be in good shape.  Your first timer status will also bounce you way up to the top... good luck in your search.

I think this is a good move for the long game. Let them sort out the bugs and issues before the 4000 series cards later in the year and we'll be rocking queue 3.0 for the 3rd and 4th quarters this year.

So has the queue already been closed since it was only live for a few minutes this morning?

Yes it was apparently open for about 90 mins before EVGA closed the queue after deciding to cap the number of participants.  We are waiting to see if it will be reopened for elite members or general population or what.

Is there any benefit to removing my inactive notifications from the prior queue 2.0? Does that increase my chances in any way of being selected?

*To celebrate EVGA Queue 3.0, the users with the 300 highest EVGA Scores will be exempt from this requirement for select future launches, beginning with the GeForce RTX 3080 12GB. These users may sign up for a notification and proceed without being deprioritized for a previous 30 Series purchase from EVGA.com. This offer is only good for one product/notification queue, and once the product is purchased it may not be used again.

How will someone know if they have this exemption?

I would think this naturally springs out of the self-entitled ones, thinking they're the most loyal and should be part of the top 300.

Should be interesting to watch.
