Where did you hear this? It still shows BETA on the official EVGA site. I can't imagine they aren't going to update this any more, it still has PLENTY of work needed before it could be official and I think they know that. Are you just saying that as they haven't released an update in a month?

yep, its there saving methods not working, it's hit or miss, I can set it with a saved number come back it dont work, I restart click on the saved number it works. it's hit or miss with it working.

can not get osd to work . I had it working I went back into the game and it stop working . deleted all old files and redownloaded still nothing . playing battle field 5 . I have evga gtx 1060 for now I went to afterburner .

Does anyone else have issues with the OSD? It seems to randomly work for me. It was working most of the time until the past two days. I just got my new 2080ti from the RMA and worked on OC'ing it over the past two days and now the OSD doesn't work again. Not doing anything different than before. It seems to take several restarts and just crossing fingers hoping it will work and it will randomly decide to work. I dunno, it is very inconsistent. Afterburner OSD works just fine for me, just precision seems to have issues sometimes. It was working today on Valley benchmark while i was OC'ing but black ops 4 didn't work.

Why is one good and one bad?
I assume just that afterburner appears to be a "light weight" application. One thing for him to note though, is he should monitor Riva tuner as well which works in conjunction with afterburner, could be closer than. I have plenty of grips with PX1 right now but to be fair, it's still a BETA. I just wish there was a new release by now as I feel like they were coming fast and really helping and then they really stopped at xmas time.

Just a few things to take a look at while making this program better. I add NZXT Cam to the server list as mentioned by Sajin and the OSD only shows up randomly, mostly doesn't. So nothing has changed when doing so. Adding it to the list doesn't stick after reboot. The OSD screen location xy axis does not save even though other changed options do. Oddly enough I do not have the Apply previous settings on load box ticked and it does in fact apply previous settings on load. Also the FPS counter lags and is slow to show accurate frame count. Just another thought, why are all of the fans tied to GPU temp? It would be nice if we could set mem to one and power to the other. While typing this the fan profile I had just made reset, the enable automatic fan control box is now un-ticked and the fans defaulted for some odd reason.

I installed this version on 3 different Windows 10 computers with GTX 1080 Ti Cards and None of the Cards could be configured. Went back to PXOC and they are back working now. Version 6.2.7 Release: 5/8/2018 - Fixed Power and Memory fan increased fanspeeds when starting Precision XOC or switching skins.
- Fixed GPU fan not allowing software fan curve when starting Precision XOC or switching skins.
- Improvements to EVGA Z10 keyboard compatibility.
- Fan curve improvements.
- Various bug fixes and GUI improvements.

How has it been five weeks with this software in this garbage state?
I am quite curious myself how they haven't done anything since late December. I get a bit of delay with the holidays in there but I am hoping they get a new one out here soon. It really sucks for those of us who HAVE to use this software as afterburner doesn't let me use my 3rd fan on the FTW3 edition.

Does anyone know if Precision x1 v0.3.11 is functioning properly for the 980ti K|NGP|N? (I know it only states compatibilty for the 10 series but you never know) I just did a fresh windows 10 reinstall & trying to keep installs/reinstalls to a minimum

When is this software going to be ready for use? You can't plaster all the available features of precision x1 on your product pages and product packaging, then fail to deliver a working product. It's false advertising. This will be the last purchase I make from evga. What a disgrace.

There are certainly multiple things wrong with the software still but I think the "core" features work for the most part. My biggest complaint left is the OSD. That **** is completely random when it works. It used to never work until their update "improved OSD hook functionality" but it is still a crap shoot for when it works. Literally it's almost every other day for me for it working when I play black ops. As of now that is my biggest frustration left.

The gui is an unintuitive mess that is inherently broken. I've essentially given up on precision x1. The amount of my personal time I have wasted, installing, uninstalling, then reverting back to afterburner... it's just not acceptable. The osd seldom displays, I can't therefore take advantage of any of the extra sensors I have paid for. The concept of being able to have a wattage read out in 3d applications was definitely appealing, but alas it would seem that I am stuck with another companies software in order to keep my overclocks within a functioning profile. If afterburner had the ability to control a third fan, and pull info from all of the ftw3s sensors I would be long gone.
Get it fixed.

I ran scan and get +108, ran test and get 90, what do you do with these numbers? Whats the recommended approach to OC? Start with Power? memory ? GPU? is there another video you guys will put out to show how to use this software? Saw the overview video and it didn't really explain how to use the scan/test...

I also have the ~6% CPU usage with PX1 and it can’t complete a scan without my computer locking up. Also, under Power on the main page, it doesn't remember those settings. I break the tie between power and temperature and have to manually break the tie every time I boot and set the power limit up. Maybe I’m misunderstanding how to set up the power but I run aggressive fan curves and want the software to limit at a 75C but still have a 100% power limit. If my temperatures get to 75C something is wrong as my loads only hit 55C max.
On the other hand, it does save the fan settings properly.
I forget which version but I used to be able to run a proper scan. For the last few, it just locks up and won’t complete. I have to reboot. Would be nice to get an update that works properly.

I have an SC2 but for the life of me the LED panel seems like a step back. I used to be able to set the GPM lights to temperature; now there's a temperature setting but it only has two settings (as opposed to three in XOC) and I can't tell whether it's controlling the GPM lights or the entire RGB just from software. I mean, I could open my case up and look at the card but I'm just pointing out that this seems like a step back.

So ive got a big problem with this software, when it is running my mouse will randomly spin out in world of warcraft. At first i thought my mouse was dying but nope its the software, closed it and mouse hasnt spun out one time.
While i dont need an overclock on my gpu for WoW, other games do see quite a benefit, as well as the fan curve tweaking. Is there some workaround so i can have this software active in some games but not others? Surprised this isnt a more commonly reported issue, this has apparently been happening with these types of programs in WoW for many years.

the OSD ON, power limit and temp limit doesn't seem to stay the same after restarting the PC or the application. I have overclocked my GPU and memory along with 112 power limit and 84C temp limit, the gpu and mem oc stays but the power and temp limit reverts back to normal. Is there a fix coming for this?? also my OSD monitor is not showing. I have only tested in Doom 2016 and GTA V. I hope this fix gets here quickly.

So i just updated to the new driver released yesterday, and it wiped my OC scanner results entirely. Is this normal behavior? Side question, to avoid having to run OC scanner again whats the difference between manually inputting +160 and having the scanner do it? Are the plots along the curve going to be similar with a manual input? Or is OC scanner superior in this manner? My oc has been rock solid stable but this software is a big yikers, randomly resetting on a driver update is not something ill be willing to put up with.
