So far so good, got installed and my custom fan curve and profile put back in, so far everything behaving including LED.

yeah sure but everytime i go to change tabs in precision x1. it crashes... it randomly just crashes half the time and when i install it fresh, it says some crate failed to load...idk wth that is but v.10 did it too.

Same problem here. I have GTX 1080Ti FTW3 and I Can't change backplate led color. Thermal Led Display not working. 

Tried out 0.3.11, but the Scan function doesn't work. Left it on for an hour and it doesn't just initiate. 1080Ti Kingpin. 

It is incredible that they are unable to get software that really works and that is up to the quality of their products

Well, I'm gonna answer myself.
Finally I decided to reinstall drivers, look like nice. 300MHz (although sometimes it jumps to 1500MHz and falls again).

Uninstalled my 2nd 1080ti and reinstalled PX1 and it starts now,  Will see what happens when I put the 2nd card back in.
Put 2nd card back in, PX1 will not start again.
 
Ok so with 2 cards installed PX1 will not start with SLI disabled, If I turn SLI back on PX1 will start correctly.

Whenever I try to download, I get a privacy error for the URL saying  

NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

I've attached a screen below, and does not allow me to download for now.

When Google Chrome tried to connect to storage.cdn.evga.com this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be storage.cdn.evga.com, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Temperatures are not staying updated correctly.
Px1 states 74c
Whereas Corsair link states 32c
 

One could be the CPU and the other the CPU Package.
Also Exit PX1 if you have it start with the OS and then wait a minute and then start it back up and look at the Temps.
What Version of Corsair Link are you running.
The order of the install could also make or break it.
I would remove Corsair Link Clear the Data restart and the install it without PX1 Running.
Also you should not have both PX1 and Corsair Link running at the same time.
 
 

Thank you for finally adding support for the GTX 10 series with ICX.
 
I do have 1 critical issue, 4 standard issues, 1 missing feature and 4 cosmetic issues with it. I am reluctant to call this a beta version the state the build is in. I personally feel like QA was non-existent or the current QA needs to be 300% more critical in what needs to be done. This software is controlling for 100's millions of Dollars/Euro's/Rupees in hardware worldwide and maybe even towards a billions. Make the software feel like this is how you see this too EVGA and make sure you have a special professional around capable of upholding the implementation of this quality standard. I'm usually not this vocal and direct, but i feel there is a need to tell you need to go back to the drawing board and be willing to drop things that some might be desperately trying to hold on to. I would love nothing more than X1 becoming a product that its predecessors were never able to be due to implemented flaws as a mindset or how a designer thinks and uses software. Implement the perspective of a general end user and not that one of a mathematician fanatic programmer. Most good programmers are not the best designers and vice versa and this is quite common. Overal design lacks the mentality of this software controlling billions of Dollars in hardware at this point. Please go back to the drawing board. I do like the general layout and the large sliders on the top part of the main page. The size of the screen can be larger too when that is needed for displaying more relevant information and functionality on the main page. A great software feature improvement would be a customizable main page in which the end user can decide what information and controls must be displayed in the end users case. I am sure that less pages and custom information displayed would make allot of your customers very happy and a software rebrand actually a rebrand. When your current programmers or contractor has a hard time creating this then i would advise you to hire someone who can.
 
1. [CRITICAL]
When pressing the right arrow on the main screen X1 crashes and shuts down. The left arrow works till you're on the fan profile screen and the same thing happens when i press the left arrow. Apparently that is where a settings page should be. A manual restart of X1 is needed.
 
2. [STANDARD]
The X1 settings are not applied by default on load after first installation (X1 general settings). There is a manual workaround: Apply all settings in a preset profile, load that profile and set 'Apply previous settings on load' in the general settings. In general you always want to your settings applied on load or at least a default functional profile after first installation working right out of the box unless you are bench marking. Realistically an end user is mostly not bench marking.
 
3. [STANDARD]
'Start with OS' not working. When this setting is applied in the general settings and in a working profile preset X1 will not start automatically. a temporal solution is creating a shortcut to X1 in the Windows 'start' folder or start X1 manually.
 
4. [STANDARD]
The default automatic fan profile is not enabled by default. This means with a fresh install that the fans will not spin at all in combination with issue 2. This means in combination with issue 6 (missing LED temperature color) you will not know your card is running hot till it is too late. The cards own profile which also not always works for whatever reason will not be used, because the X1 override is running without a profile. The solution is manual and easy, however inconvenient and potentially damaging.
 
5. [STANDARD]
The X1 software update functionality is not working in the previous version. It is possible this is still the case in X1 0.3.11, but this needs a next version available to test on the end user side. Manual download and installation is the workaround.
 
6. [MISSING]
The GTX1070 SC2 ICX has 3 RGB LED's on the side for the letters G (GPU), P (Powertrain) and M (Memory) capable of displaying 3 different colors on set temperatures in the EVGA software. X1's LED functionality has no effect or functionality on this EVGA card sold for this specific feature.
 
7. [COSMETIC]
The settings folder name for X1 in the Windows appdata folder is slightly unconventional with "EVGA_Co.,_Ltd". It kind of looks like someone made a typo here being in a rush to catch the last train home on a friday. "EVGA_Co_Ltd" can be the whip cream on the ice.
 
8. [COSMETIC]
The UI designer has made a separate button for the ICX information, but why an extra button when you can have all this information already displayed on the graphical hardware image that is already there? With a checkbox on the settings page the end user can decide himself/herself if ICX information is displayed on the main page. This would make that main page hardware image actually useful. When this is about promoting the ICX technology the ICX button can simply be an icon on the main page indicating X1 is displaying the ICX information when enabled. As an end user you want to see the temperature information next to hardware settings and fan speeds instead of constantly pressing a button to switch between screens.

 
9. [COSMETIC]
The UI designer seems to like clicking on buttons i think to make something feel interesting, however the opposite might be the truth. The bottom part of the main screen could hold so much more useful information and functionality without the need of going to a a separate page and a need to click it. The graphics hardware image in the middle can display all ICX information without a button and when a fan profile is selected the manual fan control on the bottom-right is completely useless. Both fans statistics show on the bottom-left however there is no functionality. When you run a (custom) fan profile both entire profiles including statistics can be displayed left and right from the graphical hardware image with ICX information literally eliminating two separate screens and clicking buttons. A simple slider or checkbox on the existing settings page gives the end user control over manual fan control or profiled fan control to display on the main page.
All these separate pages for functionality and clickies is what is not so perfect in the Precision software and it looks like you're making this same mistake again while X1 is supposed the different in this regard. What's the point in making rebranded software to improve when you eventually turn it into a reskin again? This is a topic that makes customers go to other brands that are usually loyal to a brand.
 
10. [COSMETIC]
Just as in Precision you are starting to create different settings pages again which can be all in one single location under the cartwheel on the top-right. This was what was not so good in precision and you are doing this same thing again in the rebranded X1. This is related to issue 9 and maybe a result of bringing all the programming together and get it working for the relevant hardware. An end user basically want ALL settings to be found under the settings cartwheel or don't even use a dedicated settings cartwheel at all.

That error shown below is caused when regWing0.exe in the Program Files\EVGA\Precision X1 folder runs during install and tries to add WinRing0_1_2_0 to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services folder in the Windows Registry, but it already exists and the ImagePath points to a different program, not Precision X1.


You can A) Close all running tasks in the Windows System Tray (the Clock area) and then run regWing0.exe that's located in the Program Files\EVGA\Precision X1 folder, or run PX1 setup again.

B) Create a System Restore point should something go wrong.

Press the Windows and R keys to open the Run dialog.

Type in regedit and click OK.

Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services folder, find the WinRing0_1_2_0 folder in the left pane and left-click on it.

Double-click ImagePath in the right pane and see what program it points to (for me, it's Real Temp, for others it's the NZXT CAM software), then close/disable that program and close Regedit.

Then run regWing0.exe that's located in the Program Files\EVGA\Precision X1 folder, or overinstall/install PX1 again, and you should see the ImagePath now pointing to WinRing0_1_2_0 that's in the Program Files\Precision X1 folder when you open Regedit again.

Alternatively, you can close/disable the program shown in the ImagePath and right-click to delete the WinRing0_1_2_0 folder in the left pane and close regedit..Then overinstall PX1 again or run the regWing0.exe whereupon the WinRing0_1_2_0 folder will be recreated with the ImagePath pointing to WinRing0 in the Program Files\Precision X1 folder..Then restart your PC.

Then enable/run the conflicting program again that you closed/disabled or restart your PC..CPU temps should now be an option at the top of HWM.

Works flawlessly for me..Hopefully works for you/others too..I suppose EVGA will need to somehow fix it in their PX1 installer package.

The right arrow crashes more than the left arrow, for me.

Looks like the conflicting program for me is Sidebar Diagnostics
