i just ordered MSI Z270 SLI PLUS motherboard and plan on sli 1080s in it, anyone know what spacing a i need? i just ordered it so i can measure between the two slots, the two silver ones

i already had one gtx 1080 and building a new oc and putting both of them in. Play on a 4k monitor, any idea which bridge i should get or the one i get with the gpu is fine?
 

One doesnt come with the gpu. You would need to order one to get the best possible performance. Grab a 60mm HB bridge.

Are you sure thats the right size?
i have the ftw 1080s, so does it matter if its the evga or nvidia bridge?
 

100% positive on the size. Been posting this answer for 2 years now.

I like the evga because it has a switch for red, green, blue, or white.

I can not say 100% that the nvidia bridge will work because of the nipples that stick out on the right edge. If they dont hit the raised lighted section, you should be fine.

Yes. You can set it to white, or use LED visualizer (if you have old drivers, it is already on your computer).

Go to the C: driver. NVidia folder. Select a driver older that 365.xx, go into that folder and look for led visualizer. Click into the visualizer folder. Look for the line and three dot logo for led visualizer, right click and pin to task bar. Now it is on your desktop.

If you dont have older drivers, you can download it from nvidia, just google search it.

HI i was wondering witch one of thoses HB bridged i needed for MSI z97 gaming 7 for SLI gtx 1070 FE i am pretty sure is the 1 slot spacing but can someone check if i am right :D
 

You are correct. The 60mm bridge is your required bridge :-)

So...after ordering a 3 slot HB SLI bridge direct from Nvidia for SLI'ing 2x Titan XP's in the 1st and 3rd slot of my RVE 10 board, I really need a 4 slot HB bridge?
 
 

I have always run the 80mm bridge in the RVE board, slot 1 and 4, for x16 by 2. On the RVE, that is two red slots, with one in between. The rve 10 has black lanes, so it would be 1st lane and 4th lane.

If you are using 1st land and 3rd lane, you would need the 60mm bridge. (Red and black on this board:)

My EVGA sli bridge's leds are not coming on with my 1080ti FTW3s. Is that known problem? 

They normally come on from lost pictures posted. Have you tried led visualizer to verify they are not turned off by accident?

Hey guys, not sure if anyone has heard of the issue involving the HB bridge and surround crashing, but if anyone can reproduce it nvidia needs feedback on it.
 
I heard from one of the people affected, that EVGA had an in house reproduction of it?

With something like that, links or more explanation is needed. How are the set ups being done and what settings so we can look at and try to reproduce the issue? Is it specific games or just at desktop, and those sort of details?

Hum, seems the 1 slot / 6cm version is out of stock yet again...

Unfortunately when it comes to this new (PRO SLI BRIDGE HB) the Blue color is off  it's not solid Blue, more towards borderline Purplish  the White LED is bleeding through fading into the Blue.
 
Yet the Red, Green and White are Good and Solid  ...I guess I 'll have to put that Blue color sticker on it after all.

 
Mine is very blue..  I wonder why yours would be an off color.  The traces should not even have a way for white bleed or fade through the blue, as they are 4 separate LED's in there.  Yours may have been flawed, and EVGA may be able to replace it for you.
 
Could you please explain what you mean by "the White LED is bleeding through fading into the blue?"  I just opened up the bridge, and what you are saying simply doesn't make any sense after looking inside the bridge.  If the White LED is staying on when you switch to Blue, there is an issue inside the bridge that needs to be addressed.  Video to show that the white LED is completely separate from RGB, so if it somehow bleeding into the blue, then you need to get the bridge replaced.  The RGB LED's are at the top of the strip, and the white is at the bottom of the strip.
