I love the fact that you no longer need to place a color sticker over logo to get the color theme!

Unfortunately when it comes to this new (PRO SLI BRIDGE HB) the Blue color is off  it's not solid Blue, more towards borderline Purplish  the White LED is bleeding through fading into the Blue.

Yet the Red, Green and White are Good and Solid  ...I guess I 'll have to put that Blue color sticker on it after all.

Mine is very blue..  I wonder why yours would be an off color.  The traces should not even have a way for white bleed or fade through the blue, as they are 4 separate LED's in there.  Yours may have been flawed, and EVGA may be able to replace it for you.

Could you please explain what you mean by "the White LED is bleeding through fading into the blue?"  I just opened up the bridge, and what you are saying simply doesn't make any sense after looking inside the bridge.  If the White LED is staying on when you switch to Blue, there is an issue inside the bridge that needs to be addressed.  Video to show that the white LED is completely separate from RGB, so if it somehow bleeding into the blue, then you need to get the bridge replaced.  The RGB LED's are at the top of the strip, and the white is at the bottom of the strip.

This is what I mean..Now the image is making the color look Light Blue, but it's more towards the Purplish Blue if that makes any sense. It's not solid Blue, maybe it's the logo? causing that while in Blue color...

You have to pay for photobucket or use a site that doesn’t require you to pay to host images. All we can see is a picture saying to please update your account to enable 3rd party hosting unless we click into your pictures.

Take the two screw on the back of the bridge off, remove the two should and gently push down on the pcb that is there, specifically on the top of it, then put it back together.

There is no white light on the top, as I have shown, but the film that transfers the light to display is white, so there may be a small gap. Just try pushing it down to seat it, since that is the only thing that makes sense.

I wind up taking the EVGA Blue logo sticker from a older SLI Bridge and placed it over the Pro SLI Bridge HB and it's truly Blue now!

So, that chart with frametimes improving a couple percent is all these bridges have to show as far as performance improvement?

They should have got rid of the flashiness and included them for free with the cards. I'll wait until someone can show me why i actually need to spend more money on this.

Most motherboards have a free simple SLI bridge included. If you see the stats on these and don't think it's worth it then use the basic cable. You can also buy the cable for a couple dollars if you need it.

Hey does anyone know if there will be more 1 slot spacing HB bridges?  I just recently picked up a 2nd 1080 FTW card but now I need a 1 slot HB bridge and cannot find one anywhere.  Why is that seemingly the only one not available?

Intel Core i7-6800k cooled by Corsair H115i AIO
Asus X99-A motherboard
32GB Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4
Samsung 960 EVO 500GB M.2
Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD for games
3TB HDD
EVGA 850G2 PSU
2x EVGA 1080 FTW
Thermaltake Core X71 case

Coming in the future:  Full custom hardline water cooling and larger watt PSU.

Will anyone else be stocking these? Or maybe an ETA as to when the 1 slot ones will be back in stock?

I want the 1 slot as well, however I am tired of having a cheap looking setup with two sli ribbons.  They work, but not as good as the HB bridge would.  I am considering getting the MSI 60mm, but I want to stick with EVGA.  MSI is better than nothing I guess, I just need the HB bridge.

I ended up finding one on Ebay.  It was listed for auction but I contacted the guy and told him i wanted it and how much did he want for it.  Ended up getting $100 out of me but I don't care, I needed it.  Now everything is hooked up nice and running good.

I have looked on Ebay too, however they are way overpriced.  I need to get one, but I am not going to pay that much.  I can find another brand for much less.  I even looked on EVGA's shop and they are going for $30.  Most other brands sell theirs for $40, which seems to be the going rate.  I want EVGA branded, but another brand will have to do if EVGA doesn't want to have those in stock.

Yeah, I didn't wanna pay that either but it was one of those situations where I had been looking for one forever, had been on the EVGA auto-notify list for months, had no luck searching on any online or retail store and when I found one and that was the offer I just said forget it and just grabbed it.  I was worried though that as soon as I did I would get the email from EVGA saying they were back in stock.  Then I would have felt pretty stupid.  But for now I just decided to take the plunge.

I have a ''Rampage V Extreme'' and I want to SLi so I purchased
EVGA PRO SLI Bridge HB, 2 Slot Spacing (100-2W-0027-LR)
does this item compatable for my 16/8 slots (1&4) or do I have to run them on 2/4 for 8x/8x

dvelope, yes that would be compatible with your #1 and #4 slots.  You could only do slots 2&4 (or 1&2 for that matter) using a 0 slot spacing bridge.  If you look at the slot layout your top card goes in slot #1.  The card would typically block slot#2 however on the Rampage V it does not use a slot between the top 2 slots as many others do most likely because they know you will be using a video card in that slot and it would be blocked anyways.  Your next slot, (which would typically be slot #3) is slot#2.  If you were to install the 2nd video card here there would be no slots visible between the 2 cards (meaning 0 slot spacing).  The black slot is slot #3 and the next red slot is #4, with the video card installed into slot #4 there are 2 visible slots between the 2 cards (meaning 2 slot spacing) which is the HB bridge you have purchased.

See the below diagram for a better visual explanation...

For an HEDT System you need a SLI Bridge with 40mm spacing between connectors on a Triple SLi connector (my old RIVE)...for Z390 you need a 60mm spacing connector...... since I moved from RVIE to MXIE I have dug into this....unfortunately the 60mm spaced HB Bridges are tough to find unless you pay a small fortune on Ebay....

Jacob
As so many of us are now going with either 9700K or 9900K - Z390 Systems...any word on Evga getting some 60mm Bridges in Stock....at this point most of us still havent made the jump to 2080Ti SLi and the newNV link Bridges.....
