Way ta go zeddi, great score. My chiller arrived friday but seems to be defective like @bcavnaugh had. I'm not happy but just one of those things i guess. I was bored so took my hydro copper back off to make sure i was getting good thermal compound spread on mine all looks good to me.
What do you mean defective? Can you give some detail to this?
The flow meter stays at zero no matter what pump speed i put it at. The pump changes speeds when i go to like speed 5 or 7 or 10 but the flow meter always says zero. I unhooked the out line and the pump seems to be pumping great but the flow meter always at zero. Also the compressor never seems to kick on, if i set the liquid temp at say 10c never hear the compressor at all and never cools down. If i set the temp sensor at Liq-Amb and put it at like -15c which would be -15c from room temperature never kicks on and cools that way either. When i pulled the fill plug out to fill it for the first time it had a bunch of pressure built up in it, i thought that was very strange.
Hummm, what are you using for coolant?
I am using the koolance coolant that was recommended for it, even just tried the loop within the chiller itself and not going thru my loop in the computer and same results, zip, nadda, no cooling at all.
You might want to take both caps off and use a flashlight to look into the in and out ports. You're checking to see if your liquid is frozen solid. This will keep the chiller from working since you can't flow coolant through ice....
Can't be froze if the compressor never kicks in to begin with.
Then have you looked to see what is blocking the flow of water? And I take it you checked the fuse as well?

I did not know of a fuse nor did i think i should take the side off to check a fuse since its a new unit. I think the coolant is actually flowing because the pump rpm's change when i change pump speed from like 5 or 7 or 10 just the flow meter never changes. If i unhook the out line and start it there is plenty of pump pressure coming out of it.
Well, that is the general consensus. No one thinks they should have to troubleshoot anything brand new, but sometimes we do to avoid the hassle of returns and the waiting game. If none of the basic steps work, then I would box it back up and ship it back for refund first thing Monday morning.

Sad part is the Cost to ship it back. "liquid is frozen" that would take -15°C (5°F) to do this. Works Great ....

You just need to know where in the heck to put them

The RMA procedure was already started yesterday. I still think all the pressure inside it was abnormal, i first started to unscrew the in and out port covers and they had pressure on both of them so tightened them back up but then when i pulled the fill port plug there was enough pressure to literally blow the plug out of my hand.

Yep, totally agree. Darn, can't see the spoiler... That seems about right. When I checked the temp with my DT200 it said it was about -16C inside the bottom of the chiller, while it was 0 to -1 at the pump to the cpu water block. dwexpress

Yes, that is really weird. Still trying to understand how that is even possible. Mine shipped with liquid (some - about 2 cups) already in it. And the caps are just rubber inserts. Damn, wish I had a damn fill port on it, but I fill the chiller up first, then add it to the loop else i get that deadlock where nothing moves because of all the air trapped in the chiller.

I have and in port and out port, but no separate fill port, which is what I thought @dwexpress had.

Are your in and out ports on top then? That would really suck not to have an actual fill port.

Damn. That’s a monster score. I wish I could figure out how everyone is ripping big numbers with the KPE.. Best Port score I could grab was 9800 (+115 core/+1500 mem). Starting crashing on me after that run... Not sure what I’m messing up tbh

Loving it so far. Much better OC’s than my FTW3. Testing out now with the AIO before installing into my custom loop with the HC block

dougal0614 https://www.3dmark.com/pr/101377 #72 on Port Royal! First time ever hitting top 100. Holy hell is this fun! Lol Also, does higher CPU OC help with Port?? I’m assuming so?
https://www.3dmark.com/pr/101377 How are you liking your KPE Card So Far?
Loving it so far. Much better OC’s than my FTW3. Testing out now with the AIO before installing into my custom loop with the HC block
You will then love it even more once you have installed the HC Water Block https://www.3dmark.com/compare/pr/101373/pr/101375/pr/101296
Damn! Beast scores man! I’m jealous 😓 Did you get better scores with your block as opposed to the AIO? Or is the increase mainly due to your chiller?

In some ways it is. It's more stable. Less bugs for sure. I am not sure how to raise Mem above 8500, though. You gonna over clock that XI Extreme?

Have my 9900k oc’d to 5.2 @ 1.29 on it. I have an Apex XI that I might try as well. Might get a lower vcore with that board. Tbh I just really like the oled on the Extreme but ik that’s subjective. You know if either is better than the other, performance wise? Lol

GPU Overclock MHz sometimes mean nothing with the Benchmarks Score. https://www.3dmark.com/pr/101402 2235 MHz

I really like the Extreme...great board. Overpriced like all Top Z390's. I can only assume the Apex is the better performance board.

Since somebody was asking, I took some pics of my HC test rig, including thermals and ran 3Dmark TSX Stress test to capture temp log. Details uploaded to KPE guide here. P.S. I did not use bracket around GPU that comes with HC, I don't quite understand the purpose of it.
