Lol, we have no idea what this will even be.

Even if it is a refresh with slightly higher speed RAM and a few more GPU units it won’t really matter. An OC’d KPE already outperforms the RTX Titan with the stock cooler on it. You’re talking about maybe 3-5% difference there, if that. Negligible.

Yep, but also doubtful considering they’d be pushing their own Titan RTX down the stack for literally zero reason.

I honestly think that it will be something in the 2080/2070 range without the RTX features for less money to compete with these new AMD GPUs coming out. Considering that AMD stole the numbering scheme a bit that would make sense. So basically GTX refresh cards that still leave the 2080 Ti on the upper end of the product stack. It wouldn’t make much sense to make all of these extreme 2080 Ti variants and then just turn around and undermine all of it.

and it most likely not Samsung DDR and not the same quality VRM.

KPE most likely better than NVIDIA refresh...

That is one pricey waterblock!

Kinda irks me that I have to pay for another OLED but whatever... minor thing in the grand scheme I suppose.

Is there a fluid-channel over the VRM area or no? Hard to tell but doesn't look like it, probably doesn't matter but would've been nice anyway.

Nice score dw...nice...!

I ran out to Best Buy after all the advice for a monitor and cable. Couldn’t get my card to cooperate to see the difference. Hell, it might have made a difference but I might have missed it the screen is so small.

How do you guys fit the KP in your case? I have the R6. Also, ICX sensor MEM1 is running 10-15c hotter than others, is this correct or another RMA incoming? :D

Got it yesterday and swapped out cards. It’s inaudible over my case fans vs my 1080ti FTW3. Loving it so far. It would be better if things were a little more clear in PX1 but it is a beta after all.

Yep, have to admit the KP is pretty much inaudible. I've switched it to OC bios though as I don't like semi-passive modes.

Did you flash the LN2 bios over to the OC position so you can get your maximum fan performance? It helps quite a bit.

On the KP? Haven't tried yet but the LN2 BIOS with no temp protection sounds a bit dangerous to run 24/7. Makes me think if there will be another way to unlock 100% speed? I'm planning to swap the fans to Noctua's anyway.

No if you flash the LN2 bios over to the OC position it maintains the Temp protections but allows the fans to run full speed if needed.   Heres all your info for the 2080 ti Kingpin.   https://xdevs.com/guide/2080ti_kpe/

By the way, is the Precision X1 compatible with RivaTuner OSD? I really liked that layout and mostly used Afterburner but apparently AB can't display ICX sensor values?

Flashed the xoc to oc BIOS, can now run 3700RPM on VRM and ~1930RPM on the rad.

It can in fact, easily...but the XMP 4600 profile is very underwhelming in terms of performance, a marketing gimmick. The secondary timings are very loose and it trashes the IMC, I found out that simply enabling XMP was pumping around 1.45V to VCCIO/SA (sic!), I lowered it manually to 1.30-1.32V and it still ran fine but even though, there was nothing to be gained at that frequency due to loose timings.

The current 4133 CL17 manual setup has been tweaked to the max already and runs at an easy 1.2V VCCIO/SA and ~1.42 Vdimm.
Overall this setup a bit quicker, maybe except raw throughput.

My KP 'only' does 2160MHz core, even tried 1.20V on the NVDD but nope, hard crashes.
Yet that's enough for 21st place on the Superposition 4K Optimized list: https://benchmark.unigine.com/results/rid_0e61dab2b115462bb0073c1a94128179

Then start at 4600 on auto and work your way down from there....
Can you run aida64 memory read to see what it comes back as? Thanks

There isn't really much to be gained at that frequency if you're not running LN2/chilled water. The memory itself is also getting pretty toasty at 1.5Vdimm which is the XMP default for 4600MHz.
I need to search for my older posts on a different forum where I compared both setups.

It even ran 4800MHz at XMP timings:

Thanks.

Well, I never said to run at XMP as we all know those are never going to be the best timings. They are only compatible timings at best and when they work. I'm pretty sure that ram will run 17's across the board for starters....

Edit: When I boot back up my 9900K system i'll run a check against what you have posted.

Well 1.30V+ on the IO and SA was already out of my comfort zone for 24/7 use so I settled on the 4133 C17 profile.

The 4800MHz RAM screenshot is ~2 months old, this is the 4133MHz C17, tested right atm:

(notice different SW version, BIOS, windows build and cache freq)

Going back to the Kingpin, I have a tough nut to crack with the OLED screen...I've set it to display sensor values in 3 rows but on some pages I only get 1 resul or even a blank screen.

Ya looks good. Thanks for the details. Though I think you could get latency down under 40ns like 38 or 36 ~ @ > 1.25v  sa/io & 4300mhz
Was curious on account of my 3600mhz bdie kit @ 4200/4300 -tight. & thinking about buying a faster kit to also use with Ryzen 3.
