I saw improvement in 3DMark benching when I switched to a 144hz monitor from a 60hz.
DP or Mini DP to DP is best IMO.
Does it matter what size or anything? I am at a stand still here. I'm gonna keep trying. I can't beat a single one of my scores, or come close, for that matter.

Going from 60Hz to 144Hz i'm sure would make a difference in benchmarks but from 120Hz to 144Hz or 165Hz probably not so much i wouldn't think, but every little bit helps as far as benchmarking.

I just want to get my hands on the HC block so I can complete my build the way I want to. I know this is silly but for me the primary draw to the KPE was the built in OLED. I will never get into the hardcore over clocking like most of you but I like the look and performance of a custom loop. The ability to enjoy my computer in near silence from anything other than what I am doing is the best part. In fact, when I can finally get the HC block in my hands and installed you most likely won’t see me around here much. Which might just make some folks happy. :)

The ek rgb strips are 5v. Basically one would use some double sided stick tape to place the strip on the edge of the acrylic edge of the block.

I have the 5V strips
That are 3 pin in a 4 pin housing right? Asking cause at different sites they list it either 3 pin or 4 pin.. ek says 4 pin 5v and the other shows 3 pin but the pick shows a 4 pin connector.

I had a feeling they would goto $300 but bit my tongue mentioning it giving them ideas. I guess we may of saved $100 if we could of reused the OLED screen? And the block is bare copper and not nickle plated like the $200 ftw3 block. It's real painful looking at my former card that I returned that's now only $1299.99 at Amazon. With water block would be $1500 total.

Mine are 12V with 12 LED's. I bought it with my my Bitspower KPE 1080 TI water block.
I has 4 wires and 4 pins. only works with 12V
