The biggest issue with the supplied ML's is that they run at 1500RPM max as the cooler is mainly sound optimized (lots of 360 AiO are like that). That's the reason why you often still see 280mm on top of the charts whilst people tend to forget that these have 2 jet engines strapped to the rad. The Gentle Typhoon-like design on these Noctua's gives them a distinctive, "woosh" sound signature without the rumbling noise. I've had the red ML120 Pro's and they had a dive bomber sound signature on high RPM's. :D I spend a lot on good fans (also have 3x140mm Noctua Chromax as intake and exhaust) as for me it's like buying a good set of tools that you can use everywhere, and don't forget their 6y warranty. That said, I don't think you really need PushPull on the KP. Single 12x25 fan easily pushes air through the H150i's rad which is a similar Asetek construction.

I ordered two noctua chromax 120mm pwm fans for my kingpin that will be delivered the same day as the card. The stock fans will never be used.

The Noctua NF-A12's are arguably better. Worse aesthetics but by far the best fan I've used.

How long are the tubes on the KP? I wonder if they're long enough to be able to mount the rad at the front of a fractal r6.

Originally planned on building something basic so I bought a NZXT H500 Vault Boy case....Yes The Z390 Dark will fit... Well yesterday I had been looking at the cards in stock everywhere and jokingly sent the link to newegg to my wife and acted like the world was ending. Then she told me to buy it, and if I didn't buy it she was going too. So now I need a New Case too, Wish the 011 Dynamic was a little wider, would like something I could fit two 360mm rads or even two 420mm rads.

For those with experience with beefy custom loops:
Do you think that the HC block for KPE will allow the card to open up even more in terms of overclocks? Or is the AIO indicative enough of endpoint performance in the absence of XOC conditions?
I would think that a custom loop would allow clocks to go a bit higher, especially when it comes to memory stability. There are some folks claiming that “it’s pointless” based on some of the Gamers Nexus coverage on the card.

I don't think the HydroCopper will drop temps enough to get to a different performance threshold. That is unless you chill the rad with either a chiller, AC or an ice in the cooler technique. Good luck to anyone wanting to knock me off w/e HOF I hold. Will use challenge as motivation to dig a little deeper and am always happy to see more KPE's on the HOF leaderboard Last stable CPU settings I landed on were: - 2700x#1 4450~mhz
- 2700x#2 4500mhz
- 9900k#1 5450~mhz - avx 0 -Stock @12c idle
- 9900k#2 5500mhz - avx 0 -Lapped @10c idle
- 9900k#3 5400mhz - avx 2 -Stock @11c idle
Will go subzero -30c on chilled loop when HydroCopper arrives MY RTX K|NGP|N stock CLC on ambient likes: 2220MHZ @ 1600-1720MHZ MEM Its getting warmer ambient so temps are getting a little higher for me GPU MAX TEMP ~50c MEM MAX TEMP ~56c the last couple of evenings. I use the Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 3000 PWM x4 on the bench but sometimes switch to other Noctua fans as well. The NF-F12 IPPC 3000 is not messing around.

I can see some benefits like holding heat soaking a radiator back a bit longer or cooling your giant rad in the fridge overnight or open loop system for gains, sustained clocks or longer stability. I do not see much or any gains radiator to radiator at the same ambient temp.

I’ll take Zedd’s word for it then. Guess I’d be doing the HC block for giggles then. Now I’m grappling with whether or not it’s even worth it to pursue. I’m sure I could push my OC a bit higher but performance probably won’t change that much. Such is life.

I think the HydroCopper is definitely worth it if you already have a custom loop from an aesthetic point of view. I’m definitely going to try get one ordered as soon as they go up on the store

The only reason people should be picking up an HC block for their KPE is for the improved aesthetic, noise reduction or if they want to use it with a chiller. There will be a lot of disappointed owners if they think it will squeeze another level of performance out of their card by simply dropping it into an open-loop setting. Edit- All one has to do is take a look at this chart:

I just got this a few minutes ago: I finished testing your EXC-800 and found out that there is a leak in the copper piping. The compressor checked out okay. We should be getting our new chiller stock in this week. Also dumping 430.64 and going back to 425.31 I dumped 0.3.17.0 as well and going back to 0.3.16.0

@wwxww I saw improvement in 3DMark benching when I switched to a 144hz monitor from a 60hz. DP or Mini DP to DP is best IMO.
