Done any testing with the new 430.53 hotfix driver? I'm currently on 430.39 but if 425.31 performs better than 430.53 then I can save myself the hassle of testing and just go right back to 425.31.

I only 25.21.14.2531. Sometimes NVIDIA sneaks a driver on my bench when I am not looking though heeh. But I use 4.25 for another reason, When Apex Legends was released and crashing every 5 minutes for like 25million people I found solice in trusty driver.
 
Obvs these driver versions are better for specific builds Windows. I think the newest version is probably best for 1903 but haven't tested.

Not yet, but you would be best to test being on Driver 430.39 it is a HF for this Driver.

It’s huge as well. I’ve got the EVGA 1600w T2. It’s a massive PSU. I love the warranty though. It’s like I’ll never have to buy a new PSU.

Capacitors wear out.  That is guaranteed.  It will fail.  A new model will be available with better efficiency, smaller, and quieter.


12 year warranty. 12 years.. I will have them replace and replace for 12 years. :).

Just a little bit. lol

As I said, I ran benches like for the first day or so. Scored high enough to know my card was easily outperforming my old one. That and to get an idea of stability. Now I have it set for daily driving gaming and it’s solid.

Everyone up in here posting benchmarks, discussing Classified tool settings, posting comparisons. Talking about going sub zero. And there I am in the corner, just playing Far Cry 5.....lmao.

To be fair, I did do a good deal of gaming benchmarks and my Kingpin easily clobbered my Strix in terms of raw performance, thermals, and noise. So I’m a happy camper to say the least.

Benchmark should run maybe once when new driver show up and that's it.

Noise was the main focus for me this time around. My 1080ti FTW3 has been an awesome rock solid card but is far and away the noisiest part of my build. I was hoping this would be dramatically quieter.

You Must First Buy This Card EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti K|NGP|N GAMING, 11G-P4-2589-KR, 11GB GDDR6, iCX2 & OLED
 
@ HawkOculus If one plans on removing the Stock Hybrid Cooler to install the Hydro Copper Water Block you want to maximize the use of the card before doing so.
No point in installing the Hydro Copper Water Block if the card fails after a few weeks.
Real and True Benchmarking is one way to test run this card and is one of it's Primary Reasons to even buy this Card.
But you do not need to do anything other than just use for your own needs, that is a choice we make ourselves and not what others tell you the card is for.
But you do have a Good Idea about Gamming Only on this Card and it would make a Great Thread on it's Own to discuss all the games and game settings with owners of this card.

I think you’ll be pleased. My tower is overall way quieter than with my Strix. I also swapped some fans on my CPU cooler and that helped a ton. I have Noctua NF-A12s on my KPE radiator currently. Excellent fans.

In my world, stress tests are 4K gaming loads with all the settings cranked! lol
It took some tinkering but I think I’ve finally reached a good stable point with overclocks while gaming with mine. And as I said I did bench it a good bit when I first got it. It has been going strong for a couple of weeks now and I think it should be good to go. By the time I get around to actually doing a watercooled build I will be well in the clear from that perspective.

My cable/internet has been out since before 9am Central. Going a little loopy. 😜 Reinstalled Windows Pro and a few drivers incl 419.35. I had switched to Win10 Home Single L for testing. Now back to Pro and CPU and Mem scores are down. Using 1809 with only chipset driver. Is not having I/O driver affecting performance ? Might try installing Win 170X.

The waiting is no longer funny anymore. Well may be a little ? 🙃 The picture AHowes posted with the brown box opened showing the card box is stuck in my head. C’mon UPS! Please? Oh and COX...I-kinda need some cable too. Very hungry. Ok then

I believe my first overclocking was maybe the intel 2 slot 1 300a cpu? Of I'm getting the name right.

Crazy ya gone this long and never tried water cooling! Hopefully your next step is a custom loop.



I plan on grabbing a hydro copper block as soon as it drops and my plans were to water cool everything next year, however I may be doing it sooner than later.

My original intention was for gaming, but I think I've caught the bench marking bug and havn't really played too many games other than to see the performance gains over my R9 Fury.
