This baby made my night quick! Haha
2190mhz and easy.. using afterburner with the curve. 1.93v.
Score needs some help though 17981. Going to try higher.
36c tops still!
8000mhz ram. That I'm more nervous about but I'm betting a full block will help the mem. Seen the memory get to 40c. Thet was the top temp thats always higher.. prob really the temp of the memory area between the die and vrm area.. just rotate the mem diagram clockways.

Do it again!
Going for more..
Oh.. 37-38c this time but mostly 37!
Great hybrid! 70f room temp.
Cant wait to try during the day when its 64f.

2250mhz and climbing. Still 38c but heat is running room temp 72f now..
Running 2265 now. Strange that the scores are low and I'm able to keep climbing.

Need to stop posting so much..
Anyways.. 2265mhz fine.. now running 2295. And running.
Golden card?
Is my system bottleneching this card?
Scores are not scaling. It's like its letting me run whatever I want but producing the same performance.
Whatever I try she runs and the clocks stay solid.
2295mhz done and went up 10 points from the last bench.
After 2300mhz I'm gona play with the memory to see if the scores fly.

Umm.. should I be jumping up and down? Or is something not right?
Think I'll just try 2400 and see what happends.

Oh.. oh my God it's a miracle! It took a crap at 2340mhz! Haha. Finally. I did try 2400 but when I hit apply 3dmark went black.. so i backed it down to 2340 and re opened 3dmark and ran it.. 2nd test locked up at its usual place durring the close up. So.. wow! Who need ln2! Give me a freaking full block and with my 4 rads let's see what I have here! Wooohooo!!! Looks like my gamble payed off! Returned that ftw3 ultra that ran 2205 and turned to the beast of a card that wants to fly! Maybe shes a good candidate for ln2!

Welp guess I'm lost now. Keep lowering the core all the way down to 2145 and shes getting like close to the same 18100+ score. So throttling past 2130? Cause I think 2130 scored lower at 18,020.

Yeah lost.. 2130 locked at 1.50v and over 28k in firestrike extreme.
So I take it I need to tune some secret voltages or train the memory cause that's not really scaling to 8400+. Fine tune voltages to prevent throttling?
Is there a guide to all this advanced overclocking to make this kingpin card come to life and show me that it was worth buying over the ftw3?

The average seems to be about +140 on core and +1300 memory on these from best results I have seen. I've been using classified tool voltages at 1.10625 and 1.40625 if I remember.

1.5V Vcore? I'm truly impressed card is not fried yet, running that on ambient cooling. I guess this is a reason why we have all these limitations from manufacturers on OC tools. Even on LN2 we don't usually have that high. No wonder nothing works. Anything over 1.25ish would be a bad idea for any type of cooling hotter than -100 °C. Guide about 2080 Ti RTX KPE is here as usual.

I thought my voltages were pretty decent but 1.5 or even 1.93 he showed first was extremely high, I'm wondering if he meant 1.093 or 1.05 if not I agree that's enough to do damage on air/ambient.

Kick the guy will ya! It was like what 3:30+ in the morning after spending hours messing with the case to get it running and had 3 beers. Of course 1.050v. Max I used off the bat as always was 1.093v. Then after this discovery I just kept lowering the overclock and voltage. I had to go down to 2130mhz just to start seeing the benchmarks drop down to 18,020 from 18,070-18,100+. So before there was a power limit and one would need to try and stay below that limit to get the scores up. Not seeing that here. Just a hidden performance wall that I cant get over. No indication or warning. So someone naive would have no idea game away thinking they got a good card but shes showing a false positive.. cards throttling. Didnt see or feel that on the ftw3. Well the power limit but there was an indication of that on the osd and clock dance and scores. Here no power limit hit.. no clock dance.. just the same scores.. but they dont rise down clocking. I'd toss a few benches but what's the point.. low scores but can. https://www.3dmark.com/fs/19199044https://www.3dmark.com/fs/19199114https://www.3dmark.com/fs/19199280https://www.3dmark.com/fs/19199355https://www.3dmark.com/fs/19199152Max memory clock where I started to see issues was 4450.. every now and then a red blob on the screen. Mem temps were prob in the 40-50c range in benches. Prob can go higher with full block.. if it's worth it again with the false positive clock.

I can't say if you're to high or not, if you get to high it's going to throttle anyway. It's quite the task to get the sweet spot voltages, clock and memory speeds. When I'm home I probably run 100 benchmarks or more try to narrow in on everything. Mine seems to be best at the voltages I showed and then +125 clock and +1300 memory.

dwexpress The average seems to be about +140 on core and +1300 memory on these from best results I have seen. I've been using classified tool voltages at 1.10625 and 1.40625 if I remember.
voltages at 1.10625 and 1.40625 what the names called in the Classified Tool?
What do you mean what the names?
Sorry I am new to this level of overclocking So I guess I am to high then.......
Drop the +100 or whatever. No idea what that is. Every card would boost different and that's on top of the boost. Unless every kingpin boosts the same? Mhz since the card seems to hold whatever we tell it to do regardless if it's really doing it with throttle.

I guess I'm the forum clown.. I should just post the pic of the rad hanging in the case haha.
Yeah started working on the case to get the card in since 8pm.. so getting your dream card up and running at 12pm.. there ain't no stopping now.
Who could sleep with a card never locking up in benches all the way up to 2360mhz and show no performance numbers higher then a ftw3 at 2160.. I mean were under 500+ point from my top score! What's going on! Lol

You know what the + number is on the sliders don't tell me ya don't, yes cards boost different for sure.

So I guess you'll leave it at a secret code and I'll have e to run downstairs and boot my system and set the same number to find out what your clock was. Or see if it's the same. People always say +75/+120 as that's where they start at and it drops so they have no idea what number to throw out there.. makes it easier on them. Give us 0 info as we dont know what number. If she boosts to 2055 in a perfect world under good temps then I guess +100 would equal 2155.
