EVGA how about you stop selling your product to any other retailer, they do not care and are allowing around 70% of your entire production run to be resold on ebay for 1.5-2 times the cost! I get it though, it's hard to do the right thing when you are making it hand over fist...
Yes, EVGA should abandon plans (read: contracts) they have with business partners because you signed up three weeks after the second wave of notifies went live. Great first post.

New week, new chance to score a hybrid card. Jacob replied to a tweet last friday that I am having trouble interpreting ... Either we are getting another nice drop of 3898 (ok, but I am still far down the line) or we are getting 3888 (which is what I really want). Either is good in the end, but to quote the book that I read to my 5 year old last night "waiting is not easy"

You know... I'm starting to think it might have been optimistic to keep a browser tab open for this page and for the queue document while waiting for a XC3 hybrid. Like, we haven't seen movement on that card since before Xmas. I was optimistic, with the new year, but now I'm beginning to wonder if that April deadline for the original pricing will come and go with us still sitting around 9:10am...

So I have a 3080 Hybrid and I set the switch to OC mode. Turns out this mode doesn't let the fans go below 40%. Turned it back to the normal mode, now I can set he VRAM fan to 0% but the radiator fans now can go to 30%, better but still not perfect. Any way to set them to 0% below 30C?

I feel ya... I rebuilt my machine back in November of 2019, replacing everything in it except for the GPU in anticipation of the next gen cards coming out. It had been my hope, at that time, to be able to sit on my aging 1070 for six or nine months (30-series cards were still being forecasted for a spring launch at this point), then upgrade... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, GPU is all I need now, but by the time I get it, it's looking like I'm gonna need to upgrade again. Well, here's hoping that tomorrow is better than the last month has been.

Just because I am curious have there been any reasons given for the HC delays? I'm assuming "unprecedented times" but is there something else? I am prepared to pay whatever EVGA is asking for a Kingpin HC.

Apparently it was "QC issues" back in December...and, "get in line...."  There are a lot of us who want to sign up for the KPE HC.

Anywhere around here to get firmware revision info?
I have the 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid that I purchased early December, firmware updated in December via Precision X1 and firmware updated again today via Precision X1 after installing the latest version of PX1. BIOS is at 94.02.26.88.7B and firmware is 6.01.05. Waiting for that Resizable BAR update and I assume I'll have to use PX1 to get the firmware.

I just installed Precision X1 for my 3080 Hybrid FTW3..... And it asked me for a firmware update..... And let me tell you that update was scary AF!!!!!
While it updates red lights appear on the card and the Fans start spinning at full speed.
Thankfully after the process finished everything went back to normal.
Really scary

It is normal for it to do that for the update.

That's typical behavior for many things when updating BIOS/firmware. If you want to remove most of the fear of flashing firmware, get a proper UPS for your PC. As long as you close all applications before the update and don't power off your computer in the process, the only thing to be concerned about is an unexpected power outage.

god, at this point i should have just kept playing rma roulette with my 3090 ftw hybrid. i figured that queue would have been moving a lot faster... though hopefully the hold up has been fixing whatever the issue is
