My wait is over, just picked up ASUS EKWB 3090 locally. Looks like ASUS is first to market with water cooled RTX 3Ks.
Interestingly, prices here in Canada have not gone up and are still at NVIDIA MSRP.

I been waiting since Early Dec. 2020.
I have applied for Auto-Notify regarding water cooled 3080's and 3090's ..
I have pressing need to get this going for video project.

When this global pandemic is over, more people get out to work, less people stay at home, more money flow into the real economy instead of cryptocurrency. This will drive down the demand and boost the production. Not only the graphic cards itself but the entire supply chain.

Well.. that is the hope. But unless we get to a global vaccination population of 70-80%, we're not going to stomp the virus out. With the Virus on the rampage and NOW mutating... that prospects get dimmer.
There is talk about about Mid February or early March if our present trajectory continues with virus. Not great. One of those things one should have jumped on these things when the RTX30xx products came out. There were ebay offerings below MSRP for a few weeks. BUT KAh-BOOM! the Prices went crazy. About the same time Sony Playstations 5 came out too. That Holiday season Mass-consumption buying thing and pandemic panic did everyone in big hurt! (And even bigger if you did get COVID!)
There has been a lot of finger pointing for who has the HDMI 2.1 chipsets screwed up.. Yamaha and other manufacturers been implicated with certain home entertainment systems along with Video Display people LIKE SAMSUNG.
But water cooled boards... seems to have lagged unless you tried to use EKWB or other 3rd party cooling kits--- which is not guarantee these would work and you'd be left with a soggy and expensive mess. (There been warnings from EKWB and other 3rd party makers about issues with Foundations RTX cards working with the current offering which were based upon the Reference designs-- this is a MESS!)
That seems to be the track record so far with my 8k 60 FPS video pursuit.
Unless someone has better insight on what is going on... i'd appreciate corrections or advice?

I saved up for about 2 years to get a new one. But I guess it won't happen. I'm totally saddened by this. I was actually hoping to cop pc parts before I go out of the US. Sigh, anyone willing to sell me one?

"enewt" is the expert on this, I'm not. But I can guess  Some models might have a cadence of one week while others might be longer. But I think Hybrid is a fairly niche product line. So the wait between each drop might be quite long.

I actually picked up a Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Xtreme Waterforce waterblock card from Newegg on 1/13 (new listing at that point so I suppose the bots weren't ready for it), and they had the 3080 waterblock for at least a few weeks before that (I was trying to camp that one, but no luck and paid the premium for the 3090). The ASUS EK one I did see at Micro Center early January though, and I kicked myself for not purchasing it when I saw it. Anyway, yeah couldn't wait for the 3080 queue here but I'll let my brother purchase that one in my place. Congrats on your card too.
