Guys, I asked Jacob on Twitter about the Hybrid drops, and according to him, their goal is to make the Hybrid cards a daily drop (or regular SKU as he put it) starting this week, so I'm guessing that we may get cards sooner than expected.
(Side note: I asked him specifically about the 3080 FTW3UH, but he mentioned Hybrids in general)

EVGA how about you stop selling your product to any other retailer, they do not care and are allowing around 70% of your entire production run to be resold on ebay for 1.5-2 times the cost! I get it though, it's hard to do the right thing when you are making it hand over fist...

There is a thread for the FTW3 hybrid cards for that stuff due to them having the insane power input from 3 8-pin power plugs, but XC3 hybrid cards only have two, and as such cant hit high enough clocks to make major problems from OC

Dude, how many GPUs do you buy a year? Whereas retailers buy 10s of thousands EVERY YEAREVGA forms contracts with Retailers to get their cards to as many customers as possible. This tech launch season has been filled with all the factors to make a perfect **** storm, so instead of blindly pointing a finger at EVGA out of petty anger, try to use your head to think about things for a minute. The yields for dies are low, there is unprecedented demand for the new cards due to massive increase of people staying/working at home due to the pandemic. This in turn leads to increased opportunities for scalpers to make tons of easy money, Did I mention that crypto mining is skyrocketing atm? Just food for thought :P Edit- Forgot to mention that the new generation of GPU and by extension CPU, have brought major improvements in performance of several magnitudes.
