They want you believe they do something, but actually they do worst by telling you : YOU CAN RMA JUST ONCE ! This mean they just protect them self for multiple rma.

 
You people need a class in reading comprehension.  This isn't going to void your warranty by having them literally send you a card that works.  What they are saying is that in the future, after you receive a card through this specialized process, you're done. You can't start another RMA for power cap fishing for a higher performing card. That indicates to me that the problem has been identified and fixed in the manufacturing process or programming of specific parts of the card we don't have access to in order to resolve issues in current and future production scenarios.  Jesus Christ.

Hey lobstar, assume you spotted the posts of all the folks stating that their RMA replacements had the same issues?

I'm one of those people who had an RMA, and this part is key, before they implemented an entirely new process based on whatever new information they have to identify the problems we have all been experiencing and acknowledge this based on Jacob's post.

If you had an RMA before that post, it is not a part of this new card replacement program procedure. The cards in this new program will not START shipping until next week in US.

Jaboc how will be outside US? I live in Uruguay South America and bought it in the Official EVGA Distributor here, I can't send it from here to US as Customs Rules and to recieve it Customs will charge me ALL the taxes like a new card, there's no way of doing this direct to US for that I'm asking. Thank You!

Thanks for clarifying Jacob, and you are confident that all of the RMA cards that will start shipping in a week will have fully resolved the underlying power balance issue? Also will you be allowing a second RMA for any that still experience the issue with the replacement cards?

If second RMA is needed we can work on a case by case basis, but I would be very surprised if a second would be needed for this particular symptom. Of course if anything else were to go wrong the card has full warranty.

Also, how are you handling cards that people put water blocks on in place of the factory fans.  Can we just put the card back together with the factory fans/heatsink without worrying about redoing the thermal pads for the RMA?  My original thermal pads basically fell apart and ended up in the trash.

They will respond and update the product page for your registered 3090FTW.  On that page, you will have a pending RMA number. Once the RMA number is updated, you will also get an auto-email with instructions on sending it to EVGA.  You don't need the original packaging, or keep it as they wont return it. You will need to replace the thermal pads and paste as they will test your card once they get it.

I emailed as soon as you asked for it, and haven't heard back yet.

 
That's really curious.  I emailed March 8 6:06pm EST, had a reply back 1 hour 6 minutes later asking for proof of the symptoms which I provided. March 9 @ 2:14pm I was asked if I would like an RMA through this process and confirmed 9 minutes later. Then Step 1 @ 6:30pm and Step 2 @ 7:40pm.  I shipped my card out today (March 10) around 11am.  Are you an international customer or possibly missed an email due to a spam filter?
