I figured out that having my ROG Swift at 144Hz had my 980Ti close to 80 degrees just for browsing the internet. Had to drop the monitor to 60Hz and am not liking it.

e29gr8t - That's definitely not right man. Something's up with your card or system. I'm running a 980 with my ROG Swift at 144Hz until my Ti's come in and I never get above 40 C while not playing a game. Do you have EVGA precision or the like installed to control your fans?

Got an e-mail from Amazon saying they will have stock for the 980 ti Hybrid cooler kit on 7th July. But I cancelled the order because I already ordered 2x 980 Ti Hybrids from a local shop, but sux because I don't know when they will have them. EDIT: Well I just found another local dealer who actually have stock of the 980 Ti Hybrid, but they are price gouging like krazy +$150 compared to other sellers who don't have stock: http://cplonline.com.au/graphics-cards/nvidia-graphics-cards/evga-gtx980ti-6gb-hybrid-graphic-card.html BTW AU prices.

ymicz I'm really loving this 980ti Classy... http://www.3dmark.com/fs/5366825
How much??? 1315 base clock. Your result is as GTX780Ti Classified SLI. If you have two BIOS I would look 1250MHz, for gaming and jump as little child. Such card I would even maybe install waterblock for her not to save more for TITAN X SC. You really have luck and with CPU and with graphic cards, mostly what I saw on net 5820k go up to 4.3GHz... your is on 4.7GHz. I will keep mine on 4.0GHz for gaming. Do you understand, result of GTX780Ti Classified is about 12.500, your score is 22.000. But scaling in SLI is not 100%/25.000, always less than that....

Well the CPU is watercooled by a 360mmx60mm rad, but the GPU results are impressive for a stock ACX cooler. I'm hoping once there's a modded BIOS and waterblocks available I can push it a little harder. @ 1315 Base clock boost hits ~1550, It's definitely running out of power because of the stock bios..

Huge freaking stocking issues with the HYBRID. Its like EVGA is trying to spit on you while you beg to hand them your money. Complete BS. Getting the ZOTAC amp extreme, better performance anyways. I called the help desk, which is set up pretty terrible by the way, to be answered by some guy who seemed to frustrated and annoyed at the fact he had to answer questions for people, i could actually feel him gritting his teeth through the phone. Extremely upset that EVGA cant work this out, spits on customers, and doesn't care.

There is currently no fixed ETA on any items. In other news, no need to worry about Batman - it is in desperate need of a patch regardless of which graphics card vendor your chose! You will be able to order from EVGA EU (which I believe ships from Germany?) or from one of their approved UK retailers ie. Amazon, Overclockers, Scan...
Thanks, and can you give an rough estimate for when they will become available, like a week, or a month etc?

Indeed very disappointing behaviour from Evga on this matter. I only wish they are aware of the huge money they're not making by letting people buy other brands while they get bored waiting for the card to be available.
You simply cannot design so a sexy card and don't let anyone buy it.

Re: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti!

I find it funny, the people acting like the 980ti or the titan x is the only cards getting the hybrid. Manufacturing ONE component to work on 3 different GPU's was not the original intent. EVGA released the 980 Hybrid, not the Titan X Hybrid. Customer demand for the Titan X Hybrid and shroud made them produce a set up for it. Then the 980ti came out and now 3 different cards are in demand with the same manufacturer making the pump rad combo. That is part 1. Part 2 is the fact of the higher binned cards and the binning process to verify the cards function properly, which take time. If the +140mhz overclock that is REQUIRED to make a Hybrid isn't met, the card becomes a reference clock or SC board. Part 3 Threatening to leave EVGA because you can't get your wishes answered only opens the door for someone else that is patient enough to wait. Edited for Jerkman :-) lol.

Just to set it straight, mostly everyone (including me) is talking about the Hybrid KIT, not the Hybrid card ;) or at least that is what I think (I read it somewhere around this thread)

I have a question to all reference 980Ti owners - did any of you mod the green led? I want to sand off the green paint to match my black&white build (I know it will void my warranty), but... On reddit and another forum some people claim, that the green logo is no longer painted plastic, but colored rubber and sanding it will be even worse? I need some clarification on this, thanks
