Just received a new Digital Storm custom system with a GTX 980 Ti. No clue what model it is, other than eVGA :) Also not sure how to retrieve the serial number without laying this beat of a full tower on its side. So far liking what I'm seeing, 14207 3DMark FireStrike score, not even sure if that's good or not, but I'm more about seeing results than numbers.

So why don't they make a Classified or KPE in hybrid?
So that way people can enjoy it on water without going full custom water.

My guess: scammers are hogging them for resale at inflated prices. That, or EVGA didn't anticipate the demand. Either way, they need to do something about it. Some of us are and have been loyal and longtime customers. For now... Maybe they need to use the same method as the 980 Kingpin waiting list...

It's very clear they're having inventory issues with the hybrid cards and the classifieds. It's why Jacob hasn't shown up reassuring us not to go to gigabyte or Asus or Zotac

Sorry for this noobish question but is it okay to just set the voltage at max +87mV? I know there is a voltage limit on the card at 1.237V. My question is that is this a safe max 24/7 voltage or should I go say 1.218V for example. And is there any difference in setting the voltage between +43mV to 87mV because I am hitting the 1.237V with +43mV already? I am running a 980 Ti SC+ at 104MHz overclock. It hits 1433MHz at 1.237V, 1420MHz at 1.218V, 1407MHz at 1.199V and 1392MHz at 1.180V. Those are the usual values depending on the load and temps. Lighter games run on the fastest setting and Witcher 3 for example between 1392-1407MHz. Can I just be happy with these settings and don't need to be afraid bricking my card with too high voltage? Can the VRM take it with the ACX2.0 cooler? Thank you for your help already! :) EDIT: I could also just leave it at stock voltage and then the max boost would be with the same overclock at around 1380MHz @ 1.180V if I remember correctly. I think running it at max voltage is OK but correct me if I am wrong. :)

Well the Hybrids have been out of stock on Amazon (since they were listed... IE never in stock) for almost a month. I can't imagine the Classifieds being in stock any soon than that (from when they were listed). Amazon has barely been able to keep stock of any of their EVGA cards. It is kinda ridiculous.

What's your specific set up? I'll be installing the hybrid cooling kit onto my card tonight and backplate gets delivered Friday. But if temps skyrocket 10 degrees higher even with the hybrid I'll quickly return the backplate. I've rarely heard of this happening to this extent, so I'm curious about what your set up is.

I was told by one of EVGA operatives that the classified version for the 980 Ti will not be coming out and that the Kingpin will take its place instead. Boy was i duped and I just purchased three of the reference model instead.
