So I NEVER gota chance to get the back plate for my GTX 980 Ti any suggestions on alternative backplates, DIY´s or something?

I still haven't upgraded up from my 980ti. its been awesome, I did have a fan blade break off so I used the Kraken g12 and a corsair aio to water cool it. Still better that a 1070 hhhhh.... (edit Cool GTX, removed all the lines of "h" in your post for general cleanup, changed to 5 "h" and ...)

Removed my 980ti Hybrid to install new M.2 drive, reinstalled my 980Ti Hybrid and now it idles at 50-60 Deg C and jumps to 90-100+ deg C when I start a game and the onboard fan is screaming. I hold one hose and it's hot but the other is cold.
This system used to run any game high or better settings without a problem and would never get above 80 Deg C. ( if it ever even got to that ) Pc is in an Air con room.
Maybe I knocked something or there is an air lock/bubble?????? Have moved the rad around, disconnected the rad fan and can hear bubbles/liquid moving so I think the pump is working as such.
Any help would be great.....

Damn so disappointed. I had a EVGA 980Ti Superclocked SC2+ for 18 months it died and got an advanced RMA all awesome, now under 2 years later this one has died again, just outside my original 3 year warranty, hoping EVGA will do something for me, you don't really expect these failures from quality products.....

just wanted to share some gratefulness that i'm still rockin my 980ti with a kraken G12 at a chilly never seen above 46° with upper high settings getting 90+ fps in Ardenweald in directx12! /praise EVGA /bow <3

I just got from eBay a 980 ti hydro copper.
I am in the process of taking it apart and cleaning it.
I need to install new thermal pads but I do not know the thickness. I also believe the previous owner changed them.
I can measure them. But I am not sure if he installed the right one.
Does anyone know the thickness of the pads?
