Aarkane I see people stating the status of their iCX replacement is "Pending". I requested a replacement for my 1080 FTW and got the confirmation email that it was received on Feb 11th. But I don't see where the status of the request is... Where can you find this? I'm really hoping I can get approved and send my card out before going on vacation in a couple weeks so I have next to no down time :)
Www.evga.com/icxupgrade. The spot where you clicked request will now show pending or give you the choice to pay.

I don't really see a need to swap out my 1080 FTW since it works great and runs cool but I would like to get this just to get back into the step up program. Sounds like the 1080 Ti is coming out March 20 -23rd and I would love to get that card. But no cross shipping is the killer and it makes no sense for them to not offer this, they do this for RMAs right? I really don't understand why they would not offer this with a security deposit as there would be no risk for them. Assuming they add the 1080 Ti to the step up program within the three months of the iCX card shipping I would end up shipping 2 cards back to them and waiting a week for each replacement, don't think I could deal with being don't that long. EVGA - Please add the ability to cross ship to this offer!

Note: The iCX Upgrade Program costs $99.99 per iCX Upgrade, and includes an EVGA iCX Shirt and complimentary return shipping.Yes, it would be great IF there was cross shipping with the Step up program. Only with "some" types of warrany RMA's there is cross shipping.

CoriolisAffectment Hi all, I signed up but am wondering if anyone has a guestimate as to how long before we're pulling our old cards and resultant turnaround time?
You might have to make another "waiting" video :D

nothing for the 1070 black edition? kinda sucks to spend that kind on money on a card and be outdated 45 days later without the opportunity to upgrade like the others

EtherealEye I submitted for an upgrade but it is stuck on pending.
I was trying to time the upgrade so that my card can go through the shipping process while on a vacation.
I think everyone is pending, until approvals start. I traveled to New York with my card so i can ship it while i am here, lol.
Someone in the thread mentioned sending their regular FTW edition that hit 2120mhz in and getting back one that can barely keep above 2000
Both of mine boost to 2000mhz on their own and can run at 2100mhz if I set them to do it. I signed up for the upgrade program but now I am having second thoughts...... If I decide to go through with it, I'll be able to send one at a time so no down time for me plus I am into World of Warships lately which doesn't require much GPU power.

Will the FTW waterblock need a redesign to accommodate the new PCB? Or will it still be good to go on the FTW2?

No chance. EVGA will get around it either releasing it after 90 days or only release "non-reference" to prevent step-up. They aren't a charity.

If that were true, why havent they stopped all sales in the past, so that noone could use the step up?

I thought shipping for the old card was included in the 99. I don't see a shipping label after I paid my upgrade.

No, the $99 includes free ground shipping for them to send the new card to you. You're responsible for paying for shipment of the old card to EVGA.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to ship them together if you can wait for the second approval. I don't believe there is a specified time limit for sending them back once they are approved for upgrade...at least not one that is unreasonable...

I would think two separate rma numbers would be assigned. Both cards could be together, but the rma numbers would both need to be present for the department to know both cards were approved.

I was hoping to get them approved at the same time. I'll wait a little bit and ship them back in one box with separate RMA numbers attached.

hm.. I would change the wording on your site - I was under the impression that "complimentary return shipping" meant I didn't have to also pay to ship my 1080SC to EVGA. Not that shipping back to me was free (which I honestly would expect anyway) so that's a little frustrating / an added cost.

couple of questions, is this step across only available in the US? as the EU site comes back with a error 404 i went and purchased a EK block for my 08G-P4-6286-KR will the block fit onto the 08G-P4-6686? screwed both ways? EDIT: just found the "Your country is not allowed to submit an iCX Upgrade request on this site. If you see this message, please first make sure your region is set correctly using the region/language menu located at the upper-right top of the website. If you have done so and this message persists, then your country may not be supported at this time and you are encouraged to select the "Notify" button. If you believe this to be an error, please contact Customer Service at http://www.evga.com/about/contactus/." i think the sentence i'm looking for is F KED by EVGA again if you live in the UK or the "EU Zone".

Go to eu.evga.com/icxupgrade you're on the wrong website. If it shows up as www.evga.com/icxupgrade, you need to manually change it. Waterblocks may not fit. Check the ek cooling configurator on ekwb's website for the best info about their waterblocks.
