Does 3090 ti hybrid xoc bios no longer have zero rpm mode? my second fan always spins around 1200 rpm after flashing with that xoc bios. Is this normal? Is there any way I can flash it back to stock? (techpowerup doesn't even have hybrid bios lol)

If you can find this BIOS switch, try selecting Normal?
 

I flashed my normal bios to XOC bios so my zero rpm mode is gone now. I originally thought xoc bios has zero rpm mode, I should have flashed xoc to performance or OC switch lol.

Just wanted to say I have a 3080 LHR with a hybrid kit installed. Still am unable to flash the XOC bios. Same "firmware up to date" message. It flashed to a non xoc hybrid bios fine.
 By any chance did you manage update your bios? Cuz I'm having same issue.

Well I just did mine finally.  This is the file you need to try. Go to  EVGA GeForce 30 Series HYBRID/XOC/Default BIOS Thread
Scroll down to:  BIOS Flashes for EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 LHR cards (-KL / -KH / -RL suffix)
Click  on EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 HYBRID LHR override BIOS (+HY XOC) spoiler icon.
Download:  EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 HYBRID LHR (10G-P5-3898-KL) [ReBAR]
^^^ make sure you click on that file because EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 HYBRID LHR (10G-P5-3898-KL) [XOC/ReBAR] and EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 HYBRID LHR (10G-P5-3888-KL) [ReBAR]
WILL NOT WORK!!!
 Hope that will solve that issue :)

I now see that EVGA 3090 TI FTW3 has 3 BIOS switch on the card, OC, Performance and Normal. I wonder what the difference is. OC is the strongest? Thank you.

Hello. I have the EVGA RTX 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid (Part Number: 24G-P5-3978-KR). I've still not seen this part number called out on the BIOS page and I'm trying to figure out what is the newest/best to use for my specific card.
 
The best I can tell, I'm supposed to be using 94.02.42.C0.15 (2021-03-13) or 94.02.42.80.C2 (2021-04-02). I'm currently running the latter, 94.02.42.80.C2.

Judging from the techpowerup database, you seem to have the latest vbios (and just make sure there is no yellow symbol in precision x1 for ReBar or vbios slot, then your bios should be the newest). I don't believe XC3 has an XOC bio due to it only has two 8-pin + mobo Pcie slot (375W max).

I just received my replacement 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid and it is a Rev 1.0. Trying to figure out if it has the XOC bios already installed on the OC switch. I moved it over, rebooted and pulled up gpu-z and its showing a maximum of 450w for PL, shouldn't that be 500W? The bios versions is 94.02.41.C0.11

Which menu in GPU-Z are you looking at?  The version you listed is the XOC BIOS.

Advanced tab, then drop down to Nvidia BIOS. I thought the XOC bios had a Maximum of 500W?

I do know other AIB's have in house bios's for their cards that sort of unlock them and let them run full potential speed. See it all the time with other AIB card owners as they know someone wat X named company and get the full speed of their cards unlocked. Does EVGA have anything like that or do we already get that on our retail bios's?

Just a heads up, I've been running the 3080 ti xc3 hybrid bios on my card for some time now (after doing the hybrid kit conversion) updated to the latest version using the precision x1 app. Two days ago my card had a complete meltdown. I was unable to plug in my 4k monitor at all without my PC shutting itself down and restarting. Really bad blue screens/faults. It was a real mess. flashing back to the original xc3 bios was the only thing that stopped the crashing. I followed that up with doing a complete uninstall/reinstall of the nvidia drivers and things seem stable atm.
 
I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar experience?

Anyone an idea for the find the really working 3080 ftw3 ultra XOC bios LHR ? at the moment i couldn find any, i tried the 4898_OC450watt_ovu but it doesnt work at all sadly

What i mean with its not working is, that i wrote here multiple months ago about the same problem but at that time doesnt existed a fix for that. I tried flashing different bios for lhr but none seems to be working with the 450 watt bios. I only got a bios 450w for aircooler but the hybrid bios isnt working and its just 105% the slider for the Powertarget.

Post your PX1 information page and/or GPU-Z BIOS page so I can check into it.

Now that EVGA is out of the GPU space and doesn't have to worry about undercutting their top segment (3090 and above), any chance you guys can throw us 3080 Ti users a bone with a higher power limit BIOS? =) [

I have a similar issue as many others, my card is a 10G-P5-3897-KL (3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming LHR)
I have managed to flash all of the following BIOS:

4897_LHR_ovu (only 105% PL)
4898 (only 105% PL)
4897_XOC_LHR_ovu (118% PL but doesn't give more than 405W)
4898_XOC_LHR_ovu (118% PL but doesn't give more than 405W)
 
Each BIOS seems to have an effect, and Precision X1 identifies it as a different card with different power limit, but in practice they all seem to act the same, even with +200MHz set on max vcore.
 
Does anyone have any suggestion that might work to get an actually higher power limit on this card?
