Ive just picked my self up a 580 gonna update bios is it worth doing 1.0 now then 1.1 or should i just wait for 1.1
 
 
Any eta on 1.1 ?

Are you using the one specifically for the SC? How about giving us a GPU-Z screen shot? As long as the device ID matches it should work.

 
Yes, downloaded SC -version. But lets see what this update brings. I think theres been little comptability issues with SC Black Ops?

Yup having Black Ops edition, and now this works... can see 30-100% fanspeed and also 1.150mV... hmmm hmmm,
I think Im going to close the bedroom door for family´s sake, and open the balcony door.
Damn You, I was suppose to go to sleep :D
 
Got a new record on Vantage and running core 951MHz / mems 4400MHz (And now nice idle 36C with 35% fanspeed)

I am also trying to install v1 and v1.1 and none of them works. It goes through searching and then doesn't find my card!

I noticed when I just updated my card that firewalls/anti-viruses were picking it up, blocking it.  Try disabling your AV/firewalls and retry.

Which card do you have? If it is the Black Ops version try the one I posted a few posts up. If still nothing can you post a picture of GPU-Z?

It looks like for whatever reason your card has the incorrect BIOS on it.
 
It shows that it is flashed to a 1580 (standard 580)
 
If you give us a call we can get it fixed up for you.

I've tested my monitors and have no problems with them.
The only difference i know of is that you have the SC version of the card.

Well, not really. Thou you can make idle fanspeed lower.

Worked for me. Both my SC and BO are running 70.10.20.00.81
 
Anyone notice their card/system beeping during the flash?
 
I got a beep at start and at end of each card flashing.

Mine beeped when I flashed my 580's. NVFlash did it when I flashed my 285 so I guess it's normal.
I just missed the UPS truck with my last 580.

Flashed 1.1 v. Fans hit 100% However, I got the same problem too. My 2nd monitor went out. Only one monitor will work at a time. Going to reflash...

Yes I did. Same thing...  This time I'll do a clean install with the drivers.
 
 
NOPE DIDN'T WORK. Monitors just blinks in and out. No display... I didn't save my original bios. Jacob can you somehow send it to me?  Perhaps some issues with the flash for 580 sc...

Oright got finally work. I had to go the Nvidia control panel and reconfigure the multiple display settings.

I reflashed and reinstalled drivers... seems to be working fine now. Mind you I'm not using 2X DVI anymore, I'm using 1X DVI and 1X HDMI.
