Sadly, no signal at all at any stage. As soon as I plug in HDMI - instantly pushes signal to monitor.

joelfuzat Installed my brand new 1080ti FTW3 Hybrid yesterday. DP cable will not send signal to my my Acer X34 (3440x1440) monitor. Bought a different DP cable today - no luck either. Unfortunately, both DP cables are 4' in length. It was suggested to me I need a shorter cable - but, not possible where I live. However, using and HDMI cable DOES work - but can only push 50 Hertz refresh rate - so, clearly not acceptable for my monitor. Started the RMA process....However, better solution is that someone out there has an idea for a possible fix? Seems difficult to believe this new GPU can push HDMI but not DP. Did everything from resetting BIOS to unplugging cords, power off, etc. etc. etc.
Welcome to the Forums joelfuzat Lets see if we can get your DP to work Did you manually select the input to your monitor ? Did you try unplugging the monitor while the PC was On ? Is your cable a certified DP ? What version of DP is your cable ? MB BIOS what is your PCIe set to ? Auto or Gen 3 ? try Gen3 if it is set to auto In my personal experience 10 feet works well with a quality cable For reference you should have created your own thread in the 10 series section of the Forums @ https://forums.evga.com/EVGA-GeForce-10-Series-f103.aspx the select "Post New Thread" button at the top of the page Make the Title .... expressive .. of what you need & make it interesting .... this is mostly a user based forum Review this: The ultimate starter-thread for new members https://www.displayport.org/products-database/ I use this $20 certified cable: Accell B142C-010B-2 10ft UltraAV DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.2 Cable with Locking Latches - 10 Feet (3 Meters)

I should also mention that I run a hackintosh. One drive OS X, one drive Windows 10 64 bit. Neither OS recognizes. Uninstalled/reinstalled all drivers under Windows. OS X uses latest NVIDIA web drivers.

I am still reading but maybe someone will see this and have an answer. I see it's a 120mm radiator... is it the same one from say a 1070 FTW hybrid? I was really hoping for a 140mm with the 1080ti so I can have less noise from the fan. The tiny 120mm radiators get heat soaked quickly without some cfm on the radiator -- I use an aftermarket fan hooked into the mobo with speedfan controlling it based off GPU temps currently. Tough decision.. the 1080ti FTW3 air cooler looks very good.

I think its maybe the same. But lot of hybrid useres are changed the radiator fan to a differnt and plugged into moba to control the rpm.

I think so too. It will do for now -- until a custom loop is made. I am using a Corsair ML120 Pro on my 1070 FTW Hybrid and it does great. Fairly quite at 85%. 90/95/100 performs really really well under full load but a bit of noise due to being 120mm.

MaKoMaN It seems I can only adjust the speed of the VRM fan via the XOC application (If one of the other sliders controls the Rad fan or pump I can't hear a difference). Anyone know how I can check the RPMs of the radiator fan & the pump? And how to adjust their curves separately (if at all possible)
If there is a way to control them. I haven't come across it. I downloaded EVGA Flow Control but it doesn't recognize the system. In the brochure though, it specifically says the pump can be controlled. It could be that it is all automatic and the user has no manual control over the pump.

Any word on when this specific SKU will show up on Amazon's store? I noticed Newegg has it for sale on both their official website and their Ebay store, along with EVGA's online store, but no other retailers seem to have it. I currently have a 10% off code for Amazon, and I'd love to be able to use it to get this card, but I am worried Amazon may not get a hold of it in time, if ever. Can anyone confirm whether or not there will be a FTW3 Hybrid kit available for FTW3 cards? If so, I may buy one of those to hold me off until such a kit arrives.

Amazon has page added for FTW3 Hybrid on Aug-2 but there is no stock or any indication when it will be available. So yeah, eventually it will hit amazon. Just be patient like the rest of us.

Do you have a link to the page? When I go to look for it, I don't see it listed at all. I do see the SC2 Hybrid though.

Thank you very much! This certainly gives me some hope. I'll give it a couple more weeks. Just finished OCing my ram to 3866 C14-14-14-28-2, so this 7700k's iGPU might last me a little longer to get that card. Hopefully it's worth it, as it certainly looks beautiful.

Installed my new card today. Here's a picture and some performance specs so far. Have the GPU overclocked +100 Mhz and the Memory +300 Mhz (stable) Note: I had the ASUS Strix 1080 Ti OC and was able to overclock the GPU +50 Mhz and Memory +650 Mhz (stable). Looking for some recommended settings for the EVGA. Overall, great card!

What kind of temps are you guys seeing under load? I'm typically in the upper 50's to mid 60's in games. This is a surprise as this card replaced a 1080ti FE with a hybrid kit on it that never made it above 50.

Is that 2062mhz the highest your card will go after boosting? Or did you just stop there for a quick run? I know with my 1070, if I do a static core clock overclock, i can only hit 2050mhz, but if I overclock using the voltage curve editor, I am able to hit 2100+. If you are currently limited, might want to give that a try. oldmanian What kind of temps are you guys seeing under load? I'm typically in the upper 50's to mid 60's in games. What case are you using, and what are your ambient room temperatures? Seems a little warm for a water cooled card.

Yes, I thought that 58C was a little high as well. I changed the power mgt. mode in NVIDIA CP to Optimal Power and now my max temp. is around 46C while gaming (+75 Mhz on GPU & +300 Mhz on Memory). I have not touched the voltage (at stock settings), but I am running the slave bios. Easily boosting at 2050 (avg.). Also, I'm running push/pull with 2 x Corsair ML 120 Pro fans. Will have to try the voltage curve editor (thanks for the suggestion). Also, my ATX case is a Phanteks ENTHOO EVOLV PH-ES515ETG (Satin Black with Tempered Glass Panels). I have 2 x Corsair ML 140's on the intake and 2 x Corsair ML 140's on my EVGA CLC 280 Liquid / Water CPU Cooler (top of case). Ambient temp in my house right now is 24C (75F). GPU idle temp is currently 37C, Power is 43C, and Memory is 40C.

Do you have any openings in the bracket that is holding your cpu cooler blocked off? Air will recirculate back into the case which is why your gpu temps are so high. The top of the Evolv case is poorly designed and does not have enough openings to expel case air so air gets trapped up there. I had this mod done from ModMyMods.com and it dropped case temps 5C to 10C. What are your cpu temps at full load?

Thanks for the reply and input. Much appreciated! Yes, I modded the top of my case as well (removed the mesh screens and blocked air from reentering the case using some plastic and Duck tape). I also put spacers in the front of the case front panel to give a larger gap (allows more air to enter through the front). Not sure why my temps were initially so high, but now the max temp is not exceeding 50C (overclocked +75 MHz with stable boost @ 2065 MHz and Memory @ 5900 MHz). My i5 4690K CPU is overclocked to 4.6 MHz and the max temp for that is around 50C as well. Very pleased with the results! 👍🙂

I am using a Phanteks Enthoo Pro M & I'm pushing cool air in through the front of the case with the hybrid rad mounted there. I use a 140MM case fan at full bore (1200rpm) to push across the rad. This is the exact configuration I used with my 1080ti FE with the hybrid kit installed and it was 10+ degrees cooler and within 75Mhz clocks of the FTW3. petmic10 Yes, I thought that 58C was a little high as well. GPU idle temp is currently 37C, Power is 43C, and Memory is 40C.
I might give this a shot, but I'm curious as to why I would need to make any settings adjustments when I took out a 1080ti FE and put this one in and I'm seeing the thermal difference. It's strange to me. I'm also running the pump full bore 100% and the fan at 70% and my temps still stay in the high 50's and 60's across all the ICX sensors. I'm actually thinking of taking the card apart and replacing the thermal compound.

MageTank What case are you using, and what are your ambient room temperatures? Seems a little warm for a water cooled card.

That might be a good idea. Had a similar issue with a different brand of GPU, where thermal compound dried out (basically turned into a chalk-like consistency). One of the few times where I saw a significant difference when swapping thermal compounds. I would invest in a less viscous paste like TG Kryonaut. If you want some modern information about various thermal pastes and their performance on GPU's, you can refer to THW's latest test here: I normally use Gelid myself, but I did test Kryonaut, and found that it does indeed work better (albeit, quite a bit more expensive for less material). Still, I'd say it's worth the investment for using it on a GPU.

You think EVGA will give me the thickness on the thermal pads so I can swap those out as well?

They should. I believe they had similar info posted somewhere in regards to the original ACX cooler's thermal pad replacement guide, but I could be wrong. Either way, I'd recommend 0.5mm Fujipoly pads, as those are basically the universal thickness used these days (on both GPU's and laptop MXM cards). This is what I personally use: Get an exacto-knife or blade of your choice, and cut this pad into many pieces for whichever component you are trying to cool. A little pricey, but I have not found a pad that was able to out-perform it, and it's super easy to use compared to some of the others that are extremely sticky and shreds too easily.

I love the MX-4 TIM. Been using it for years and haven't had any issues with it. It even dropped my temps by a few from stock TIMs, all around in general.
