There should literally be ZERO reason to switch out TIM or Thermal pads for a product this new. More likely, Silicon lottery is the reason you're noticing temp differences, perhaps the other FE was able to clock higher with a lower voltage? So many variables, but I would absolutely not even remotely consider replacing thermal compound.

EVGA uses high quality compound as well.

? Silicon lottery on these GPU's (form my understanding) certainly has alot to do with the clockspeed achievable, but bear in mind that there is a hard voltage limit enforced by the Nvidia supplied bios, so I don't see the ability for the temperature delta to be that drastic.

I am using the exact same settings on this card as the FE card with the hybrid kit.  I would think that the increased VRM capacity would mean that the FTW card should be operating at a lower temp as it's got more headroom but still capped at the same voltage through the nvidia supplied GPU bios.

I'm not crapping on EVGA here, but I certainly look at the temps and it just doesn't seem to make alot of sense, when all the fans are cranked up and I'm still seeing temps around 20 degrees higher then a 1080ti that just came out of the same case.

To those out there, is anyone else seeing temps in the 60's?  If so, what are your fan curves?/sliders?

And for the record, I ordered TIM and I'll start with swapping that.  Looking at all the sensors it just seems like the heat is not getting transferred off of the PCB efficiently.

Have you checked to see if their is any air in your AIO's tubes? Sometimes, depending on how the rad is handled, air can get stuck causing poor performance. If you pull your GPU out, and hold the radiator above the card (so that the card is laying flat on it's backplate, and radiator is above it with tubes stretched unobstructed), you can get the water to go back completely into the tubes. Tilt the rad repeatedly while doing this, so that all of the water inside of the rad, goes within the tubes and towards the bottom part of the rad. I had this exact issue with my EVGA 280 CLC for my 7700k, and this fixed it.

So when is this or the HC coming to Amazon? Because I have a gift card and I have yet to use it. I see the listing up for 2 weeks now with no actual stock besides scalpers marking it over $1100.

Well there were about 4-5 in stock a few minutes ago and now they're all sold out.

The demand for this is really high

Buy a 4K HDR TV unless you plan on playing only twitch first person shooters.

yea but I guess it depends on what size you buy. I guess a 4k Ultrawide would work nicely as well if you're just casual gaming and do more multimedia applications.

I have 4k 42" TV/Monitor from Wasabi Mango. Woks pretty well, but next time I'd opt for ultrawide, as monitors of that size get pretty high at 16:9 ratio.

Look at that beauty

Iam using an Asus PG279Q G-Sync monitor with my 1080Ti, and its perfect for that resolution incan say that.

Unfortunately last 2 weeks i tried to order that monitor in few polish online shops and, despite they list it as aviable or  more than 1 aviable, in final i got answers by mail its either broken or unaviable.
