Ordered FTW3 Hybrid a few minutes ago! At the moment it looks to only be available from the EVGA website; better act quick if you want one.

Can anyone tell me how long the braided hoses are on the FTW3 Hybrid?

I checked the spec sheet but it didn't have any info on hose length.

The tubes are roughly 12 inches long. You will have to subtract from that depending on how much bending the tubing will need to do to at each end of the tubes.

The positioning of the radiator if it is mounted as the rear exhaust fan position should have enough length to go to the primary PCI-E slot position.

If anyone has the card now, can they confirm if the radiator fan can be adjusted by the card? Or would you have to buy a different fan still and plug it into a controller?

Yes it can be controlled via EVGA Flow Control

Well, I can not control the radiator fan with Flow Control. I downloaded it, whenever I launch it, it says no devices found. I believe you think you can because you have an EVGA CPU cooler. Are you absolutely positive you can control the GPU radiator fan? You may even be able to link a fan to the GPU temp, but the fan that is controlled I bet is one of the CPU radiator fans, and not the GPU radiator fan.

Thank you.

I'm replacing a MSI Seahawk 1080 X that is mounted at the bottom front as an intake. And the tube length on the Seahawk is a hair under 15" long. It looks like the hybrid wont reach there.

You *really* don't want to mount the radiator lower then the pump in the first place. And mounting as intake dumps all that hot air inside the case so you don't get as much benefit from the CLC. Why not rear exhaust?

It works really well there. I have it set up in a push/pull configuration and temps stay in the low to mid 50's while gaming. I have a corsair H100i V2 mounted at the top also in push/pull that's cooling my 6700k cpu overclocked to 4.5Ghz. Temps on the cpu get only into the high 50's to low 60's. Overall my temps are pretty good in a case that is notorious for bad airflow.

I don't have any choice with the Hybrid. It has to be mounted as a top or rear exhaust in my case(Evolv ATX). I just wish the tubing was longer so i had more options.

It seems I can only adjust the speed of the VRM fan via the XOC application (If one of the other sliders controls the Rad fan or pump I can't hear a difference).
Anyone know how I can check the RPMs of the radiator fan & the pump? And how to adjust their curves separately (if at all possible)

True on the position of the rad.

On the mounting as intake, I think that could be different based on case by case.  Some cases have enough intakes to mix that warm to hot air while other smaller cases don't and turns the PC into a sauna.  Again, that all depends but in most cases airflow is set for front/bottom as intake and top/rear as exhausts.  In some cases like mine, since I have a filtered top and a massive open unfiltered rear, I have my top along with my bottoms and front as intakes, giving all my rads fresh cool ambient air and allowing it all to exhaust out the unfiltered back via positive pressure.  Less dust build up internally as well and of course, great temps all around.

This card is a beast. From the pictures I've seen I thought the card was a battleship grey. It turns out it is a Satin Black. Matches my Evolv ATX case perfectly.

Thanks for the images! I've been looking for a factory watercooled card just noticed this thing has recently hit the market. If you've got it in your case could you take some pictures of the RGB elements on the card? The product page seemed pretty lacking in terms of showing off the RGB.

This is all I got right now.

I'm trying to figure out why the vrm fan is not spinning. I've tried the master and slave bios but it won't spin at idle. Not sure if it's by design? I haven't downloaded EVGA Precision XOC yet so maybe that is my problem?

Yes, download Precision XOC and set your own fan curve or you can set it to be a static %. That is also how you will be able to change your lights on it.

Here is one for you. The colors are quite vivid. You can change them to just about anything and pretty much all individually controlled. The G P M lights can be static colors, link to the main side light, or change based on temperature. The main EVGA side light can be static on/off, go through a rainbow of colors or breathe. The backplate EVGA light can be static on/off or link to the main EVGA side light but will not breathe with the main side light. The only light you don't have any control of is the FTW3 light.

I'll have to download it tonight after work. I ran out of time last night rearranging my case, installing a clean driver and trying to figure out why my VRM fan was not spinning. I was able to put the radiator as a front intake like my previous MSI Seahawk. I didn't think it would be possible with the shorter hoses but it reached. I disconnected the EVGA radiator fan and I'm using a Cougar fan connected directly to my motherboard. Idle temps were 26C but I'm still working on my fan curve. I may just connect the Cougar fan directly to the Hybrid and control it with Precision. Sadly, I have no load temps yet.

Just to update, I downloaded Precision XOC and I was able to control the VRM fan and lights.

I updated to the current drivers and went into NVidia Control Panel under Manage 3D Settings and made sure Power Management Mode was set to Prefer Maximum Performance for each game I'm currently playing. I fired up The Witcher 3 and was immediately greeted with 2000MHz gpu clock speed in default mode. This card is amazing It never got hotter than 46C in the hour I spent playing.

EVGA knocked it out of the park with this one!

Installed my brand new 1080ti FTW3 Hybrid yesterday.

DP cable will not send signal to my my Acer X34 (3440x1440) monitor. Bought a different DP cable today - no luck either. Unfortunately, both DP cables are 4' in length. It was suggested to me I need a shorter cable - but, not possible where I live.

However, using and HDMI cable DOES work - but can only push 50 Hertz refresh rate - so, clearly not acceptable for my monitor.

Started the RMA process....However, better solution is that someone out there has an idea for a possible fix? Seems difficult to believe this new GPU can push HDMI but not DP.

Did everything from resetting BIOS to unplugging cords, power off, etc. etc. etc.

Try to use a verified dp cable, try that out which came with your monitor.

Appreciate the swift response!

The brand is attached below.

The one which came with my monitor was impossibly short. Would have had to put computer on desk next to monitor.
Also, my previous card was an EVGA 1080ti FTW3 - basically, exact same card.

Appreciate the swift response!

This is the brand ->

The one which came with my monitor was impossible short. Would have had to put computer on desk next to monitor.

If it short or not try it. We just want to know that the port on your gpu is bad or just the cable wrong.
Its just for the test to see if it working or not, i think you dont want to start an rma is is not necessary :)

I no longer have that cable. See my last post. Same card, despite different cooling strategy, worked with the startech cable - a brand which has worked with every EVGA GPU I've ever owned.

No signal at all? No signal in windows or just during boot up?
