Yeah it was always said that this was first come first serve to get in the queue. It's 24hr access to the queue. How much did 24hr access matter? Not much, since anyone could get ELITE by posting nonsense for a couple hours to get 100 posts, so there's that.

I understand all of that. But 3 days and no response means we're never getting cards. That means they only had a handful of cards and they sold out and they'll likely never restock. I'm still on the notification list for the 3090 since September last year (not with ELITE) and they still haven't given me a notification for that. So if they don't notify us about the 3070 Ti after 3 days then they'll just never notify us. *Poof* that's it and it's gone now. Wow... @kithylin.... so by your logic, it doesn't matter that there are others that are in front of you that are patiently waiting, you should just be entitled to a card? The was no guarantee that you will get a card on day one. The only guarantee was that you would have 24 hour priority access to the launch. If it was a guarantee of getting a card, there would be no need for a notification sign up, it would have been a "buy" button straight to checkout.
The only one to blame is yourself for not waking up early enough. I got up at 2 am for the launch since the launch was at 3am my time. Got in que and am patiently waiting for my notification.

The queue system works and it works well. (now the website crashing during sign up is another discussion). Elite members have the opportunity to enter the queue 24hrs before the general public and it is how it was pitched by EVGA for the 3080-70ti product line. It doesn't say anywhere that you'll get a notification right away nor does it state when you'll get notified. You entered the queue on 6/10 and that is what it is. I entered the queue for several cards on 6/3 and I'll get notified when I get notified. It is clear to me and at least one other person that replied to your post, that you do not understand how the queue system works. There are a lot of folks that are grateful the queue system even exists.

There's not even a point of interacting with these kind of people, they are so entitled and disconnected from reality they will never understand how things work. It's mind boggling to know that people like this exist, and they live their life like this day to day

@kithylin EVGA has had drops of different SKUs at various times. Some SKUs are moving some are not and it is not uniform. Frustrating as it seems, EVGA as an AIB can only make what NVIDIA allocates to them and NVIDIA can only get so many chips. I'm only in the queue for the 3090HC at the 52 second mark and I do not expect to see it for some time and I understood that from the beginning. The problem of chip shortage for all industries is going to take a long time to alleviate and there is nothing we can do about except have patience.

If you would read my edit on my previous post a friend of mine signed up for ELITE access to a 3070 Ti @ 6:05am. They didn't get a notification yet either. Being early still doesn't mean anything with ELITE. And it's not about people patiently waiting. That's fine. I wouldn't mind waiting if the program actually worked and meant we'd get access to buy video cards @ MSRP but we do not get that. The whole point of the ELITE program EVGA advertised that we are guaranteed to get access to a card if we're an ELITE member and sign up for it, even if we're in the queue. I would be happy to wait if it meant we actually get something but it's clear now that we'll never get anything. ELITE doesn't mean jack squat and it's no different than trying to grab one in the open market. Folks should just be aware of that. Everyone in this thread is defending EVGA like they're paid shills and/or EVGA fanboys and claiming I'm stupid. I'm just a realist. It's not coming. If we didn't get cards by now then we'll never get them. Forget about buying any video cards at MSRP and just move on with life. The ELITE system is broken and doesn't work and I'll never use it again.

Your friend should have gotten the notify. I was at 6:09am and got notified on launch day. So did many others. I believe I have seen reports up to 6:18am getting their notify emails.

GoOutlier You did get priority before the general public. The thing is a ton of other Elites got priority before you because they got into the queues 5+ hours earlier than you did.
The website didn't say "You have to get in line first in the start of the day if you want to get it" The website said nothing at all about times or any requirement of time. It doesn't state that anywhere. The website only says "GET PRIORITY 24 HOUR ACCESS TO NEW EVGA HARDWARE". I was (Falsely) led to believe if I signed up via the ELITE program then I would get access to buy a card at MSRP. I signed up. I did not get access. If we have to get in line first then they should tell us that up front on the ELITE website and I would of woken up earlier. That's not my fault. I had no way of knowing. This whole thing looks like a scam / false advertisement now. So now even with ELITE I'm still yet unable to buy a card and can't buy one via any other website either. Everyone's out of stock or charges +3x MSRP when they do have it so.. back to using my 1080 Ti again for another year it seems. EVGA is useless. Maybe I'll be able to buy a EVGA 3070 Ti in fall 2022 or 2023. EDIT: I have a friend of mine that I'm talking to in Steam right now that signed up for his 3070 Ti via ELITE at 6:05am and he hasn't received a notification either. So the time has nothing to do with it. Even if I had woken up early I still wouldn't get a card either. I just wanted to write this in the forum thread for other people wondering about getting access to EVGA ELITE in the hopes of getting a card: Don't bother. It doesn't work. Even with ELITE we don't get anything any more than anyone else does. Even with ELITE it's all a gamble / lottery and hope we get lucky that the EVGA people decide that we deserve a card. We're not guaranteed access to anything via ELITE.
The website, press, and official forum posts did indeed describe an auto-notify queue, which is what you are in and what we got. You think you had "no way of knowing" that people who would try to buy an in-demand GPU before you tried to buy one would get to buy one before you? Everyone else seemed to understand this (including your "friend on Steam") as the website was being hit extremely hard in the first hour+ of the recent launches. Do you think showing up to Best Buy or Microcenter at noon on launch day would get you one when there were people standing in line at opening? The good news is you are still in line and don't have to keep standing outside Best Buy every day until you get one. Better tell your friend to check again because there are at least two organized, independently-run queue trackers that show that 6:05 PT (and beyond) launch day orders have been sent out with no verifiable cases of being passed over.

You just keep showing how little you understand and I will be glad to have one less person in the queue. No where does EVGA guarantee that you will get a card if you're an elite member and sign up for it. That logic would coincide with you not having enough funds to buy a card but hey you're elite and you're guaranteed a card. It's nonsensical. As for grabbing one in the open market, good luck. These sites will generally not tell you when they restock/refresh their online store with the GPU's and even if they did then you are joined with hundreds to thousands of others all trying at the same time. Physical location? People camp overnight sometimes, for more than 24 hours to get a chance at getting a card and they still didn't. It's just you being a whiny b*tch, because you failed to get a card.

This is a horrible take, but you're entitled to your pessimism I guess... For starters they only ship during the week, and they only get cards to ship once or twice a week. Obviously given it was the launch of a new model they had a fair amount ready to go and they shipped two days in a row. You can go ahead and assume there will never be anymore cards, but I guarantee you more people get cards next week, and the week after that, and even the one after that. The queues for the 70, 80 and 90 have close to if not over 2 million people in them (and the 90 is basically non-existent), so yes they're still on people who queued up last fall, but that's when the bulk of a million+ people entered. I don't know why you figured you'd have a card in 3 days, but if you feel like it's all pointless now that it's Saturday and you still don't have one, you're more than welcome to leave the queue. EDIT: Good lord I just read your first post. You showed up 6 hours late, and you're whining that you don't have a card within 3 days. I genuinely think you're trolling now, but if you're not, YIKES.....

8 hours kithylin, that's how long you have to decide if you want a card when you get notified. If your time was that high you would've gotten a notification in your e-mail. Maybe it got put in Spam but that's why you look all around for it.

faith730 Wow...
You are just full of it, and good bye.

Hopefully EVGA keeps chipping away at the Elite early access queues in order to encourage life-long customer loyalty. It seems they created the elite for that very purpose so they may be motivated not to abandon the principal that makes it worthwhile. Also, the higher priced, LHR, RGB laden 3080 ti may not be as desirable to resellers/miners than the other cards and that could help get cards into the queue. Fingers crossed with about 10 more mins left for the 3080 Ti queue and the 3070 Ti being shipped for a Thursday delivery.

You can turn the RGB off, and the reduced LHR only applies to ETH, and possibly a couple other currencies. It's not really a huge turn off to miners, especially given the profits right now for mining.
A card to mine with reduced LHR, is more leagues more than no card.

They will not release numbers, and it's all relative to numbers we will never know. 1000 people could have gotten in for that card in a 10 minute time frame, and then 30,000 the next 5 minutes and then 80 the 5 minutes after that. There is a website that can give you estimates but it is based on self reported data, and guesses the amount of cards being dropped and how often. So even that is highly inaccurate. It says I will not get my 3080 Ti for 3 months and I was 7:43.

GPU market has gotten way out of hand with scalping. You would think with the silicon shortage like the shortage on toilet paper and sanitizer during the Covid crisis Ebay and Amazon would do better. I mean eBay straight banned sanitizer from being sold to quote “Prevent scalping during a global crisis.” The silicon shortage is a global crisis. I mean you have manufacturing plants closing down/ idling with people losing there jobs because they can’t make the cars run without the chip!! You have Taiwan struggling with a severe drought have to ration water, yet there poor manufacturing is set to overload to try and make the damn chips. So we need and Anti Scalper software, one that will do to scalpers what an antivirus software would do to a virus. The world needs that. I was looking at prices on eBay. And there was a posting on there of an EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra for insane price. The reason I bring that up, the description reads “confirmed on the way” from this person EVGA Elite membership queue. So someone who is an elite member part of the gaming community is scalping to its fellow gamers! Like I saw one a few months back that someone got a GPU from Linus on Linus tech tips verified gamer program and they effin scalped the card! That is the biggest load of bs and knife to the gut. Sorry that’s my rant for the day just had to get that out.

well we cannot blame them.. it like an easy money for them.. imagine selling it twice the price.. unless nvidia or distributor will do something about like for gamers only.. but that will never happen nvidia wants money as well as people..
