So on the LED swapped issue, are you guys RMA'ing your cards for this?  For those who have, any comments on the process, did they cross ship the replacement to eliminate downtime?

RMA won't solve this issue, its related to Precision software bug.

Ah thanks;  I misunderstood a previous post comment on an RMA;  I'd definitely prefer not to RMA my card just because the LED's are swapped.  Who knows, I might get a replacement card that doesn't overclock as well as this one does at it's whopping +50 on the GPU.  ;-)

So finally i installed 2 Corsair SP120 High Performance edition to raditator with Phanteks 3 pin splitter with push/pull configuration. All i can i say that the idle temps has lowered to 22-23 Celsius, under load in benchmarks amd games never goes above 46-47 Celsius. But sadly i have to take back the Corsair fans becuase they have strange sound of motor or engine noise. I will try the Noctua NF-F12 Industrial 2000 fans, i hope they wont have issues like the Corsair did.

I went with a single Scythe GT AP-14. I run it as intake and at 100% off a motherboard header. It's inaudible over the pump noise.

Has anyone tried NF-F12 PWM or NF-P12 PWM connected to mobo?
If so, please share some temps / rpm in Superposition/Witcher3.

SP120 has crickets chirping sound at low rpm.
ML120 still has it but it is very faint and only audible at the lowest range of rpm, which it seems like what idle GPU controlled voltage keeps it spinning at.
Someone earlier mentioned that Noctua doesn't even spin at idle unless you connect to mobo, as voltage too low.
Please post your findings. Thx :)

That is correct... with a 3-pin noctua NF-F12 iPPC-2000, it would twitch a little, but never spun up when hooked to the connector from the GPU.

I ended up going with dual NF-F12 iPPC-2000's PWM hooked up to my board, controlled with Asus AI 3 keying off a thin film thermistor on the back of the card under the backplate.  Results and pictures in a previous post, but I never see the card break 49c even under heavy load testing.  Fans hit about 1.5k for the curve I have in place under load.

The 2 x ML120's are silent in my case.  I also have 4 x ML140's and they're silent too.

Strange, the corsair sp120 fans are not idle even in idle mode they spin a little at idle. I think the Noctua fans will be the same, they will spin to a little at idle mode, because the fans on the rad controlled by the gpu. How the temp raises on the gpu the fans will react/operates for the temperature controlled by the gpu.

Hi guys, Just purchased this card. I have an issue though. I have the radiator mounted as described in the manual (above the card with the tubes coming out the bottom) But I have to really twist and contort the tubing for this configuration. I'm worried long term this may cause fatigue in the barbs/tubes.
Here's a look

Anybody else have this issue?

I fee like if i could mount it vertically (facing towards camera), this may alleviate some of the pressure/tension

Ok cool,

Next question.... do you guys hear a slight "ringing" noise coming from the card? I think its the pump, but im not sure if mine is abnormally louder or not. Its a like a whirring ringing noise. This sound was not present on my evga 1080ti sc hybrid.

Also, how is your led so bright?

Interesting, I mounted mine with the hoses on the top to avoid the tension on the lines... running fine, perfect cool temps at all times.
Any thoughts on why they recommend bottom position for the inlet/outlet tubes?  I'm guessing less stress on the pump or noise?
My CLC 280 is oriented the same way, no mention of where to position the hoses (though bottom would be impossible in most cases.

Anyway i discover that i can run my gpu cooler and sustain the gpu clock speed by just letting the fan controller run the fan 100% at all times. Now i idle at 27C and below 50C when gaming.

looks that way... can't imagine the ROI on a 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid would be that great for ETH, but I'm not a miner so maybe so.

A Plastic Computer Case will produce Static so be careful.
Blowing Hot Air on to the Back Plate is not really a good idea.

These cards have a 3 year warranty, right? The recreation room is in the basement (sort of; almost ground level, another floor below this) which is quite cold with a window next to the rig so I can barely feel any warm air from the radiator. I would have placed the radiator in a different position if not for the short fan cable. This is temporary as the reason I bought the Hybrid specifically is for my Coffee Lake build next month.

You're lucky. We got the card almost the same day and I unfortunately have a similar problem as a colleague. Ringtones, or better, the metal sound coming from the card. I have decided to build a total water cooling system from the EKWB. I do not like the sound.

Hey Guys, I have a problem with the Hybrid Kit for the FTW3. I recently upgraded my FTW3 with the Hybrid Kit and since that, the Precision Software from EVGA is going Crazy... I installed the Kit properly and everything works fine technically but Precision doesn't recognize my Card as a Hybrid. It says it's a FTW3 and when I try to OC the Card to +60 Core the Screen Freeze for about 10-30 seconds and after that the Clock speeds don't get higher as 1569Mhz... I tried both Master and Slave and I have absolutely no clue... the german Support told me to untighten the screws from the Card 'cause this solves about 98% the problems people have. I didn't tighten the screws that hard in the first place... Hope you guys can help me in some way... sry for my german english :D

Try uninstalling Precision and reinstalling it again and see if that helps.
