yeah, there have been no word on when the Hydro Copper will actually be released yet. the Hybrids only went on sale twice on the EVGA site and they disappeared instantly both times. people have been waiting for their Hybrids for months, so i wouldn't hold my breath.

just reply to my PM whenever u can and maybe we can figure something out.

I did see GTX 1080 FTW Hybrid come into stock on both jet.com and newegg.com earlier today, but jet.com only ships within USA and newegg was selling to only USA address with this shipment (changing shipping destination removed the item from cart).

Would be nice to get some kind of information about why the EU stock keeps getting delayed, but what can you do..

Just checked the German EVGA forum and "probably next week" from last week has changed to "probably in 2 weeks" yesterday.

I'm fairly new to posting on the forum even though I've been lurking in every now and then for a few years. But yeah, I know Jacob has been to PAX West plus that it is the weekend and all but the lack of dialog with the customers and fanbase is a bit lacking at the moment I feel.

It would be nice if he[Jacob] could at least give us something. I know a lot of us are very, very loyal towards EVGA, and without trying to sound like a spoiled entitled little brat I feel that we at least deserve some form of appreciation for sticking with their brand even though they got delayed. I'm only talking about them answering when we ask, that is all. Transparency is all I ask for.

Be honest and just say if you have problems with distribution, delivery, production or whatever. You don't even have to tell us WHAT it is you are having issues with. Just tell us that you have problems and when you might expect to get stocks. That's what I think we deserve. Peace

Berga of Sweden :)

EDIT: The reason why I want to know how long it takes for them to get stocks in is NOT to buy another brand (you're the only one for me EVGA<3) it's just so I don't have to check the website twice every hour.

Newegg has a posting on their site now for the card, it's not in stock but it's up for auto notify, maybe it's a sign that cards are coming soon and will be going to other retailers.

Thanks mang, I went for it minutes after you posted. Never shopped at Jet, but seems legit. Now we'll see if they can hit estimated delivery or if this got listed before they were able to make good.

In stock at Jet! Just got one for $670 using promo code SHOP10.

Also, discount code works, cheaper than many 1080s and free shipping. Only slightly nervouse that you cannot locate the product by searching the Jet site normally...

I was at work all day sadly missed it. But that's great news! Hopefully this will lead to more frequent stock of the card.

Both EVGA GTX 1080 FTW Hybrid and the EVGA Hybrid kit on newegg.com are removed from the cart when shipping destination is changed to anything other than USA.

Does any one know if this restriction is placed by EVGA or newegg?

i would say its a new egg thing considering new egg is not owned by EVGA

I am aware newegg isn't owned by EVGA.

I am asking because, take Amazon for example, I can't buy some things from Amazon "due to restrictions placed by manufacturer" according to Amazon.

It's just annoying because I can't buy from EVGA stores (EVGA's own restriction) and then when I finally find stock at newegg only to again be told I can't buy it, and it's not because they are out of stock! Yet I can buy other computer components from newegg without this restriction...

I thought about getting either FE or SC then slap on EVGA Hybrid kit myself, but I also cannot buy EVGA Hybrid kit from EVGA stores or newegg.

There are forwarding services if your willing to pay for it. I'd offer to forward shipping on too (California resident) if anyone would be trusting enough, but I understand that most people wouldn't be comfortable with such an expensive item. Any chance you have friends or relatives in the states you could press into service?

Tried forwarding services, their addresses are blocked by EVGA stores.

I've always bought EVGA due to their good reputation for support and customer service, and fortunately I've not had to RMA anything as of yet.
But after the recent 1080 FTW black screen problem in the other thread on this forum, I am not so sure any more, as I've come to find out EVGA does not offer advanced RMA, paid or not, nor do they offer expedited shipping in my region. As a result, my fellow countryman that has a faulty 1080 FTW was asked to pay for shipping to RMA his card and will be without a card for 6 weeks minimum.

man i keep checking this site and new egg for the launch of this card with no luck. built a whole new pc all i need is a 1080 and i cant decide on the evga 1080 hydro , the asus stric oc 1080 and the zotac amp extreme 1080

isn't the EVGA Hydro made for systems with a custom loop watercooling system? the Asus Strix OC's are like unicorns. the regular Strix has been available, but not the OC model. i've seen it only once in like a month, or more, and it disappeared right away.

i could be wrong but isnt the EVGA 1080 hydro an AIO style water cooler not the coustome loop one?

that's the Hybrid that has the AIO cooler for the chip and a fan to cool the VRAM's. the Hydro Copper is full waterblock setup that's ready for a custom loop system.

post away. =P

on youtube they did a breakdown of the 1080 hybrid (ftw) and it has a copper plate that extension. technically the pump cools the chip and vram.

If you are satisfied that's most important.
But for now this is the one of most serious and most elegant GPU I ever saw.
When I build clean PC for me even before few years I always wished similar GPU.
This is probably Obsidian 450D from and RIG of one member from EVGA Forum.

@Systom- nice job that looks pretty sweet. Still no issues of excessive pump noise or anything? I'm tempted to try a Gigabyte too, to see if it clocks much faster than my Hybrid. My max stable core OC is 2038mhz.

@Vlada011- that build is mine, I love the all black / hint of gunmetal color of the whole system. I've since replaced the stock H80i GT CPU cooler fans with two ML120's and cleaned up a couple cables + tied them down. The ML120 is the real deal, so quiet compered to the SP120. I was going to get another one for the Hybrid but I'm happy with the stock fan honestly. It is much quieter compared to the 980 Ti Hybrid Kit and my temps rarely exceed 50 degrees. Usually hover at 46-48 while gaming.

*Edit- kind of embarrassed by that AX1200, lol. I know it is totally unnecessary. Used to run 780 and 780 Ti Classifieds in SLI and just kept the PSU. If it ain't broke, don't fix it I say.
